Opis:
Both, positioners as well as robot motion tracks to be integrated with industrial robots as their external axes should fulfil high work requirements. The toughness structure of such systems resulted in high carrying capacity and repeatability of positioning must be compatible with the system kinematic ability to be used in typical technological application. During such systems design process its functional verification can be done with the use of virtual off-line programming. The already complemented in PPU ZAP Robotyka in Ostrów Wielkopolski research methodic as well as results of analysis performed of newly developed manipulating machines as external axes of industrial robots.
W artykule przedstawiono wdrożoną metodykę badawczą i pierwsze efekty analizy dotyczące budowy i wdrożenia przemysłowego w PPU "ZAP Robotyka" w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim nowych typów maszyn manipulacyjnych - zewnętrznych osi robotów.

Opis:
In this paper, selected elements of the theory of the car's motion were presented. It was emphasised that it is extremely important to know the rules of behaviour of a car in curvilinear motion, an example of which is a curve, especially when driving in adverse weather conditions resulting in the significant reduction of the car's traction to the surface. The active electronic stability programme (ESP) of the car's trajectory, its principle of operation and benefits of use were briefly discussed. The next part was to present the basics of the mechanics of a vehicle's motion, especially the forces acting on a car during its stop phase, the forces acting on the curve of the road. On this basis, the basic equilibrium equations were presented, which in turn led to defining the correlation for determining the so-called safe speed of driving in circular motion, which also guarantees the impossibility of the cars skidding. In the further part, the calculations, in accordance with the BMW 320d car's data were made. Hypothetically, it was assumed that this car might have only a front-wheel drive, only a rear-wheel drive or a four-wheel drive. The idea was to check to what extent the type of drive has an impact on the achieved value of the safe speed of driving in the circular motion with a minimum turning radius for this vehicle. The article was completed with short conclusions, in which the importance of the electronic stability programme (ESP) of the car's trajectory was emphasised.

Opis:
Nowadays, increasing number of machines and off-road vehicles are equipped with elastomeric, mainly rubber, tracked chassis. Rubber tracks and belts combine the most important advantages of both: pneumatic tires and conventional tracks made from metal links. In spite of significant benefits, rubber tracked chassis is a novel and uncommon design solution, as the application of rubber tracks and belts still brings up many severe problems. Consequently, an urgent need to overcome these problems exists. In The Division of Off-Road Machine and Vehicle Engineering (DORMVE) an intensive research, pertaining to rubber-tracked chassis has been conducted for many years. In the very beginnings, the investigation was carried on in cooperation with German companies INTERTRACTOR, IAMT and IBAF. As a result, numerous original and innovative design solutions, which became a subject of European, American and Japanese patents, were developed. However, some issues have not yet been resolved. Present research of DORMVE is aimed at identification of problems concerning energy efficiency of rubber-tracked chassis. The main objective of current investigation is to improve the energy efficiency. To do so a comprehensive optimisation process is to be carried out. Within the following article, a classification of aforementioned problems will be discussed. Research facilities in laboratory of DORMVE and exemplary results, which have already been obtained, will be also presented.

Opis:
A theory of one-dimensional physical and mathematical modelling of the composite (steel-concrete) bridge/track structure/highspeed train system is developed including viscoelastic suspensions of rail-vehicles with two two-axle bogies each, non-linear Hertz contact stiffness and one-sided contact between wheel sets and rails, the viscoelastic and inertia features of the bridge, the viscoelastic track structure on and beyond the bridge, approach slabs, and random vertical track irregularities. Compared to the state-of-the-art, the physical model developed in the study accurately reproduces dynamic processes in the considered system. Division of the system into the natural subsystems, a method of formulation of the equations of motion partly in implicit form and the finite element method are applied. Vibrations in the vertical plane of symmetry are described by more than nine matrix equations of motion with constant coefficients. Couplings and non-linearity are hidden in the generalized load vectors. The equations of motion are integrated using the implicit Newmark average acceleration method with linear extrapolation of the interactions between the subsystems.

Opis:
The simulation tests results of the rail vehicle – track system model are presented in this article. The purpose of the research was to determine the influence of chosen vehicle suspension element parameters on stability and safety of motion. Simulation model of 4-axle passengers coach was created with use the VI-Rail software. Damping component of the second stage elastic-damping element in the longitudinal direction was selected. For two values of the damping parameter applied, such a few system parameters were determined: critical velocity, values of solutions in a wide velocity range, lateral wheelset-track forces and values of safety factor against derailment. The vehicle motion was simulated along a straight track and curved track with a radius of R = 3000, 4000 and 6000 m. Comparison of vehicle model features for particular damping component values were done. The results are presented in the form of diagrams illustrating changes in the tested system parameters as a function of vehicle velocity.

Opis:
Mechanical and mathematical models of mechanical multidimensional discrete-continuous systems “carriage – track” in terms of static and impact interaction in a butt roughness zone are proposed. Their interaction is investigated with the example of a four-axle car and a track for four motion phases in the place of isolated butt roughness. Parameters of static and impact interaction of the carriage with a track in a place of butt joint which takes into account operational and constructive factors are defined.
