Opis:
Disputationes metaphysicae by Francis Suárez in its assumptions returns to the classical division into real being (ens reale) and mind‑dependent being (ens rationis). To put it in the theoretical structure, Suárez’ theory of being is directly linked to the noetic concept of “objective being” (ens objectivum). Suárez definitely broke with a classical approach to the object of metaphysics and headed an existential reflection on being toward the essentialization. So his metaphysics is not focused on the concept of being in the aspect of existence, but is the study of abstract being as the “essence”. It is an interesting theory in historical terms, but it also suggests that it can provide in‑depth study of previous scholastic theories. Suárez’ approach meets with the theory that clearly influenced the modern epistemology and post‑Cartesian philosophy as a cognitive shift towards a new subjective prospect (e.g. in se conversa), in which reflection on real being was shifted toward the subject‑consciousness representation, that is, toward the noetic reflection and mentalism).

Opis:
Modern physics is based on two big pillars, the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics; the first describes the macro-cosmos, the second one the micro-cosmos. With the relativity we have witnessed a revolution of concepts of space and time, with quantum physics very unusual weird and out of any classical logic phenomena have been and are being discovered, with all implications at ontological level in relation to the nature of reality. The features of quantum mechanics are seen as puzzling, but also as a resource to be developed, rather than a problem to be solved. It gave rise not only to interpretative puzzles, but also to new concepts in computational environment and in information theory. In this paper, after a general introduction to quantum physics and its key concepts, I focus the attention on its various interpretations, on cosmological concepts like the creation of the universe, the concept of multiverse, the fine tuning, the intentionality, the quantum computation, the entanglement.

Opis:
The author reflects on a new interpretation framework in research on terminology. Referring to the philosophy of science and modern science studies, he distinguishes two types of doing science: traditional science and modern science. The centre of the linguistic cognitive space is located in traditional science. The naturalistic cognitive perspective determined also the shape of terminology studies. After philosophical ontology, the author adopts four ways in which a term can exist: in specifi c texts and in the system as well as in the individual and collective consciousness. This requires giving consideration to various perspectives (including the anti-naturalistic one) in terminological research and diverse cognitive methods, as well as a theoretical consolidation of the obtained results.
