    Benjamin Disraeli (1804-1881) nie stronił od kobiet, chociaż fascynowały go męskie przyjaźnie. Zdaniem niektórych biografów, może to wskazywać na homoerotyczny element jego osobowości. Do jego najbliższych przyjaciół należeli głośni dandysi okresu Regencji – pisarz Edward Bulwer-Lytton i artysta amator hrabia Alfred d’Orsay. Disraeli miał kilka romansów z mężatkami, ale po ślubie z bogatą wdową stał się kochającym i wiernym małżonkiem. Mimo pokaźnego majątku żony, miał problemy finansowe, które w końcu udało mu się rozwiązać dzięki pieniądzom, które hojnie zapisała mu tajemnicza dama z Kornwalii. Spośród wszystkich kobiet, które poznał Disraeli, królowa Wiktoria zajmowała szczególne i wyjątkowe miejsce. Królowa ceniła jego lojalność i poświęcenie oraz uwielbiała jego pochlebstwa.
    In his youth, Benjamin Disraeli (1804-1881) did not shy away from women, although he was fascinated by male friendships, which – as suggest some biographers – could point to the homoerotic element of his personality. His closest friends included two prominent dandies of the Regency era – the writer Edward Bulwer-Lytton and the amateur artist Count Alfred d’Orsay. His non-English appearance, exceptional intelligence and dandy’s fame attracted the attention of many London ladies. Disraeli had several affairs with married women, but after his marriage with a widow of large fortune, he became a loving and faithful husband. Despite his wife’s considerable wealth, Disraeli continued to have serious financial problems, which he finally resolved thanks to the money bequeathed to him by the mysterious lady from Cornwall. Of all the women who Disraeli met, Queen Victoria occupied a special and unique place. She appreciated his loyalty and dedication and adored his flattery.

    W kontekście aktywnej propagandy ideologii gender, przemycanej także w sformułowaniach Konwencji Rady Europy o zapobieganiu i zwalczaniu przemocy wobec kobiet i przemocy domowej z 11 maja 2011 r., uzasadnione jest pytanie, czy w prawie polskim małżeństwo i rodzina są wystarczająco chronione, czy są one konsekwentnie uznawane za podstawowe formy życia społecznego, czy obywatele i chrześcijanie mają obowiązek dalszego wzmacniania małżeństwa i rodziny, czy mogą popierać wprowadzanie rozwiązań propagowanych przez ideologię/filozofię gender. Aby odpowiedzieć na pytanie, w artykule zaprezentowano analizę następujących zagadnień: 1) znaczenie małżeństwa i rodziny w prawie polskim; 2) charakterystyka ideologii gender i jej zagrożenia; 3) stanowisko Kościoła wobec ideologii gender; 4) konieczność intensywniejszej ochrony praw małżeństwa i rodziny. Analiza wymienionych zagadnień prowadzi do następujących wniosków: Prawo polskie chroni małżeństwo, dzieci i rodzinę, lecz ta ochrona nie jest w pełni konsekwentna. Wprowadzenie do porządku prawnego Konwencji Rady Europy o zapobieganiu i zwalczaniu przemocy wobec kobiet i przemocy domowej (z 11 maja 2011 r.) osłabi pozycję tradycyjnego małżeństwa i rodziny i może wyeliminować ich ochronę, co może doprowadzić do zmiany zapisów konstytucji chroniących małżeństwo i rodzinę. W tej sytuacji za uzasadnione należy uznać następujące działania: uświadamianie społeczeństwa, czym jest ideologia gender i do czego dążą jej zwolennicy; upowszechnianie znajomości praw małżonków, rodziców i rodziny; pomaganie małżonkom w korzystaniu z przysługujących im praw; współudział w stanowieniu praw wspierających małżonków, rodziców i rodziny w wypełnianiu ich zadań.
    In the context of an active propaganda of gender ideology, which is smuggled also in the wording of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence out of 11 May 2011, it is reasonable to question: whether in the Polish law, marriage and family are sufficiently protected; whether they are consistently recognized as the basic forms of social life; whether citizens and Christians have a duty to further strengthening the marriage and the family; whether they can promote implementation of solutions present in gender ideology / philosophy. To answer the question, in this article presented an analysis of the following issues: 1) the meaning of marriage and family in the Polish law; 2) characteristics of the gender ideology and its dangers; 3) the position of the Church towards gender ideology; 4) necessity of stronger protection of marriage and family rights. The analysis of these issues leads to the following conclusions: Polish law protects marriage, children and family, but this protection is not fully consistent. Introduction to the legal order of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (11 May 2011) will weaken the position of traditional marriage and the family, and can eliminate their protection, which may lead to changes in the Constitution provisions , which protect marriage and the family. In this situation as justified should be considered following actions: raising public awareness, what is the gender ideology and what want its supporters; promoting knowledge of the rights of spouses, parents and families; assisting spouses in the enjoyment of their rights; participation in the making of laws supporting spouses, parents and families in carrying out their tasks.

    The young man goes through some preparative stages for life in marriage and family. They are made up of his maturation and readiness to make permanent decisions. Now aside to the family, the Church and school the mass media have become important in this process. They fulfil not only entertaining and informative functions but also educational. Now when preparation for marriage and family is at stake, such values are important that determine a concrete model of marriage and family. It is interesting to know which models of marital life and preferred by young people at the stage of a closer and direct preparation for life in marriage and family. How important are their age and living circumstances in this choice? The studies presented in this paper become an additional point for further analyses and considerations how to bring the Christian model of marriage and family to those are preparing themselves for marriage.

    Economic growth is mostly explained by investments and employment growth. Since the mid-1990s various social categories have been introduced into the economic growth analysis, such as trust, crime and income inequality, etc. According to sociology and psychology, it is the family that constitutes interpersonal relationships and is an indicator of happiness and quality of life. It can be said that happy people better fulfil their social roles and also work better. We put forward the hypothesis that family ties have an influence on economic growth. More precisely: the more divorces (relative to existing marriages) there are, the slower economic growth is. This hypothesis was confirmed in an analysis of Poland’s economy in the years 1995–2017. Due to the disintegration of family ties measured by the divorce rate, Poland’s annual economic growth was slowed by about a 1 percentage point on average. This estimation is based on the productivity (GDP to labor ratio) growth model which, along with the divorce rate, also includes the investment and new marriage rates.

    People live longer. Social insurance pensions are low and may be insufficient to survive with dignity. Therefore, new products appear on the market, which creates a possibility of obtaining additional financial resources. One of such products is called a reverse annuity contract. When the property owners are couples, an important issue is enabling the marriage reverse annuity contract when both spouses are alive, and then when one of them dies. The aim of this article is a comparative analysis of the amount of the marriage reverse annuity contract benefits in the countries of the European Union. In particular to determine the range of the size of annuity payments. For analysis of the amount of annuity benefits, countries in which the expected future life expectancy of men and women were the shortest and the longest a fixed age group of spouses was selected. In addition, the amount of annuities was analyzed in the countries where the absolute difference between the duration of the life of the spouses is the smallest and the largest. Poland is the country in which the expected future life expectancy of women and men, and the difference between these values is typical. Therefore, Poland was included in the analysis. In order to simplify the calculations, the matrix representation of formulas for annuity benefits is used. The analysis is based on Life Tables from the year 2009. All calculations were made using own interfaces written in MATLAB.
