Opis:: Celem głównym badań była identyfikacja czynników decydujących o wyborze środków transportu przez młodych pasażerów. W pracy określono również oczekiwania respondentów w zakresie działań promocyjnych, które mogą stanowić cenną informację dla usługodawców. Badania zrealizowano w Bydgoszczy metodą ankiety bezpośredniej na próbie 200 osób w 2011 roku. Dobór próby miał charakter nielosowy. Stwierdzono, że czynnikiem najważniejszym dla respondentów było wygodne połączenie komunikacyjne między miejscem stałego zamieszkania a miejscem studiowania. Koszt podróży oraz komfort podróżowania zostały wskazane kolejno na drugim i trzecim miejscu. Wśród oczekiwanych bodźców promocyjnych ze strony przedsiębiorstw komunikacyjnych najczęściej wskazywane były przez respondentów działania z zakresu promocji uzupełniającej.
The main object of the research was the identification of the factors determining the choice of the means of transport by the young passengers. In the thesis there were estimated the the expectations of the respondents in the scope of the promotion activities, which may con-stitute a precious piece of information for the providers. The research was conducted in Bydgoszcz by the method of the direct survey on the sample of 200 people in 2011. The sample choice was not random nature. It was determined that the most significant factor for the respondents was the convenient communication connection between the place of residence and the place of study. The travel expenses and the travelling comfort was indicated subsequently on the second and third position. Among the expected impetuses of the transport companies the most frequently indicated by the respondents were the actions in the scope of ancillary promotion.

Opis:: The use of surface welding with micro-jet cooling allows to control the structure of the surface layer. It is a way to significantly increase the mechanical properties (for example hardness) of the surface layer. The effect of this is to extend the life of the kinematic pair. The main aim of this paper was to determine the influence of using micro-jet cooling for surface welding on tribological properties (e.g., friction coefficient and weight loss). Results of traditional surface welding (without micro-jet cooling) were compared with results of surface welding with micro-jet cooling. In this case, the medium of cooling was argon and nitrogen. Hardness, time to seizure, friction coefficient, and specimen weight loss were compared. The results showed that the use of a suitable cooling medium for surface welding process could improve the tribological properties of the surface weld.
