    The paper analyses a number of advanced mobile information technologies in the sphere of tourism. A large volume of information has been processed to determine the main areas of development and improvement of tourism mobile information technologies. Mobile information technologies are built both for tourists and for travel agencies. In this paper, information technologies for individual tourists are laid stress on. These are tourist program guides, augmented reality tourist information systems, gamification traveling systems, tourist location based systems and others. The paper offers description of the available mobile software for trip planning and information support of tourists during a trip. It consists of two chapters: the current studies and existing mobile program algorithmic tools. According to the research outcomes, the authors propose to build a new information system for tourists Mobile Tourist Information Assistant. A set of functional features of this system as an integrated information system relying on mobile applications is proposed. The main principle of the system is EVERYTHING, HERE AND NOW.

    The article is devoted to modern tendency and problems in the development of information technologies in the sphere of tourism. The aim of this paper is system analysis and identification of prospective areas of information technology in the field of tourism. The basic trends shaping the prospects for improvement in the information technology tools oriented to full and quality to meet the needs of ordinary tourists are consolidation of information resources in tourism; intellectualization of functions for software and applications, information technology and systems; interface virtualization environment for information systems, oriented to the needs of tourists; mobilization of tourists information technology support in the exercise of his trip; personalization tourist information needs, taking into account its specific individual requests tastes and preferences. All of them are analysed and described in the article. As a result author distinguished the main problems in the sphere of information technologies for tourist domain and main perspective spheres of next researches.

    Opis:
    The article presents the client-server approach in the navigation system for the blind - “Voice Maps”. The authors were among the main creators of the prototype and currently the commercialization phase is being finished. In the implemented prototype only exemplary, limited spatial data were used, therefore they could be stored and analyzed (for pathfinding process) in the mobile device’s memory without any difficulties. The resulting increase of spatial data scale and complexity required a modification of the data storage and operation. Consequently, the decision was made to maintain a central spatial database, which is accessed remotely. After that modification, the mobile application fetches the required batch of spatial data (with the pathfinding and search results) from the central server through the mobile internet connection, which has also become necessary for other purposes (e.g. voice recognition). The authors present the advantages and disadvantages of this new approach along with the results of the server operational tests.

    Opis:
    An innovative concept and the structural organization of a modular system for long-term monitoring, analysis and correction of integrated health indicators of different groups of the population taking into account the impact of environmental factors and extreme conditions is described. The main elements of the system are a module for measuring physiological indicators that characterize the state of human health, a sensor module for selection and registration of environmental indicators, a data transmission module, a database, a module for comprehensive analysis of indicators, a forecasting module, a set of mathematical models, a module for results displaying. Methods of mathematical modelling and statistics were used to predict health state. The mobile application that allows to assign and take into account changes in environmental performance during physical activity, e.g. training weather conditions, such as temperature, relative humidity and wind speed, as well as the distance and duration of running, is developed. The results can be obtained numerically and graphically on the smartphone screen. The proposed system allows to predict the functional state of person in different environmental conditions. It will allow the user to make the right decision about the duration and intensity of physical activity in certain environmental conditions and choose the appropriate level of physical activity.
    W artykule została opisana nowatorska koncepcja i strukturalna organizacjamodułowego systemu do długoterminowego monitorowania, analizy i korekty zintegrowanych wskaźników zdrowotnych różnych grup ludności z uwzględnieniem wpływu czynników środowiskowych i warunków ekstremalnych. Głównymi elementami systemu są:moduł do pomiaru wskaźników fizjologicznych charakteryzujących stan zdrowia człowieka, moduł czujników do selekcji i rejestracji wskaźników środowiskowych, moduł transmisji danych, baza danych, moduł do kompleksowej analizy wskaźników, modułdo prognozowania, zestaw modeli matematycznych, moduł do wyświetlania wyników. Do przewidywania stanu zdrowia wykorzystano metody modelowania matematycznego i statystyki. Aplikacja mobilna umożliwiająca przypisywanie i uwzględnianie zmian efektywności środowiskowej podczas aktywności fizycznej, np. opracowywane są warunki pogodowe podczas, których odbywa się trening, takie jak temperatura, wilgotność względna i prędkość wiatru, a także dystans i czas trwania biegu. Wyniki można uzyskać numerycznie i graficznie na ekranie smartfona. Zaproponowany system pozwala przewidzieć stan funkcjonalny człowieka w różnych warunkach środowiskowych. Pozwoli użytkownikowi na podjęcie właściwej decyzji co do czasu trwania i intensywności aktywności fizycznej w określonych warunkach środowiskowych oraz na wybór odpowiedniego poziomu aktywności fizycznej.

    Artykuł proponuje schemat postępowania przed, podczas oraz po przeprowadzeniu prospekcji terenowej przy pomocy technologii mobilnego GIS, której celem było zweryfikowanie lokalizacji stanowisk archeologicznych, zadokumentowanych w latach 80 i 90 XX w. W pierwszej części scharakteryzowane zostały badania powierzchniowe oraz założenia naukowo-konserwatorskiego programu Archeologicznego Zdjęcia Polski, który stał się podstawą krajowego systemu ewidencji stanowisk archeologicznych i obowiązującym źródłem pozyskania danych przestrzennych. Wskazane zostały także uwarunkowania do przeprowadzenia badań o charakterze weryfikacyjnym. Następnie opisano etapy procesu badawczego, przeprowadzanego metodami tradycyjnymi i opartego na dokumentacji analogowej oraz wskazano miejsca obarczone ryzykiem generowania błędów. W dalszej części zaproponowany został schemat prac przy użyciu urządzeń mobilnych z GIS, z naciskiem na etap przygotowania materiałów do działań w terenie – pozyskanie cyfrowych danych z map analogowych. Scharakteryzowane i porównane zostały możliwości wykorzystania: nawigatorów GPS, tabletów i smartfonów z aplikacjami Google oraz palmtopów z oprogramowaniem GIS, jako narzędzi badawczych do celów weryfikacyjnych, a kluczowe cechy wybranych urządzeń i aplikacji zestawiono w tabeli. Podsumowanie wskazuje na korzyści płynące z zastosowania nowych rozwiązań podczas badań powierzchniowych, istotne zmiany w stosunku do metod tradycyjnych oraz postulat uwzględnienia nowoczesnych technologii i dostosowania zgromadzonych informacji o zasobach dziedzictwa archeologicznego w nimi ośrodkach zarządzających.
    The paper proposes a work flow before, during and after the archaeological field survey, with the use of mobile GIS technology, aimed at verifying the location of archaeological sites, documented in the 1980s and 1990s. The first part characterized the field survey and of scientific and conservation assumptions of the program called the Polish Archeological Record, which became the basis for a national register of archaeological sites and the current source of spatial data acquisition. The text specified also circumstances needed to carry out verification research. Further part described the steps of the research process, carried out with the use of traditional methods and based on the analog records. Additionally, areas endangered by the risk of generating errors were highlighted. The next part proposes workflow on the mobile devices with GIS, with a focus on the process of preparing materials for actions in the field - acquiring digital data from analogue maps. The text compares the possibilities and characteristics of GPS navigators, tablets and smartphones with Google applications and PDAs with GIS software as research tools for the verification of data obtained. Key features of selected devices and applications are summarized in the table. The summary indicates the benefits of the new solutions during the field survey, significant changes in relation to traditional methods, and the postulate to take into account new technologies and adapt to them the collected information about the resources of the archaeological heritage in the national conservation offices.

    W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono wpływ informacji pasażerskiej na decyzje transportowe mieszkańców oraz politykę transportową miast. Ponadto autor wskazał rolę informacji pasażerskiej w koncepcji transportu zrównoważonego, a tym samym w ekonomii zrównoważonego rozwoju. Następnie opisał zmiany, jakie wprowadzono w systemie informacji pasażerskiej w Łodzi, podając za przykład postępy w zakresie m.in. schematów komunikacyjnych, tablic informacji pasażerskiej, zapowiedzi głosowych czy aplikacji mobilnych. Na koniec autor zaprezentował wyniki badań MPK-Łódź Sp. z o.o. na temat wprowadzonych zmian w systemie informacji pasażerskiej w Łodzi.
    The article presents the impact of passenger information on transport decisions of residents and transport policy of cities. In addition, the author points out the place of passenger information in the concept of sustainable transport and the economy of sustainable development. Then, he describes the changes that took place in passenger information in Łódź. Among the elements of this system are: communication schemes, passenger information boards, voice announcements or mobile applications. Finally, the author presents the results of the MPK-Łódź survey on changes in passenger information in Łódź.

    The authors of this article have identified and characterized key performance indicators of database servers with a particular focus on Microsoft SQL Server. Practical part of this article concerns to the construction of dashboards on mobile devices to monitor performance of database server Microsoft SQL Server developed using Microsoft Mobile Report Publisher. Methodology of dashboard development has been described and evaluated.

    Opis:
    The algorithm of complex information processing in the local navigation system of a terrestrial mobile robot and its physical model is developed. Experimental researches of this physical model have been carried out, as a result of which qualitative characteristics of the developed local navigation system have been determined. The trajectory of the object, based on the calculated navigation parameters, has a configuration identical to the actually passed route (adequate functioning of the system as a course indicator). The error in determining the coordinates of an offline object has value 0.012t2 (1.2 m per 10 s) when moving linearly and 0.022t2 (2.2 m per 10 s) when maneuvering. The orientation angles are worked out with precision (0.1÷0.3)o for roll and pitch angles and (2÷3)o for the angle of the course. Precise characteristics of the developed physical model LNS for determining orientation angles and motion parameters МR similar to the passport serial data SINS, and in some cases due to navigation features МR show even better accuracy.
    Opracowano algorytm złożonego przetwarzania informacji w lokalnym systemie nawigacji naziemnego mobilnego robota i jego modelu fizycznego. Przeprowadzono eksperymentalne badania tego modelu fizycznego, w wyniku których określono cechy jakościowe opracowanego lokalnego systemu nawigacji. Trajektoria obiektu, określona na podstawie obliczonych parametrów nawigacyjnych, ma konfigurację identyczną z rzeczywistą przebytą trasą (system działa poprawnie jako wskaźnik). Błąd w określaniu współrzędnych obiektu offline wynosi 0,012t2 (1,2 m w 10 s) podczas ruchu liniowego i 0,022t2 (2,2 m w 10 s) podczas manewrowania. Kąty orientacji są obliczane z dokładnością (0,1÷0,3)o dla kątów przechyłu i pochylenia oraz (2÷3)o dla kąta kursu. Dokładne cechy opracowanego modelu fizycznego systemu do określania kątów orientacji i parametrów ruchu robota mobilnego są podobne do danych paszportowych seryjnych BINS, a w niektórych przypadkach, ze względu na cechy nawigacji robotów mobilnych, wykazują jeszcze lepszą dokładność.

    Opis:
    One of the elements interfering road safety are weather conditions. Supporting instrument for identification of threats are weather information systems. They are responsible for control and minimizing disadvantageous impact of atmospheric phenomenon’s on traffic. This research presents technologies used in road meteorology. Wide range of discussed systems include intrusive sensors that require mounting in road surface, as well as non-intrusive ones. One of the modern solutions are mobile sensors that allows to monitor current weather situation in variable locations. This idea seems to be an useful instrument supporting traffic management in urban areas. Mobile technology enables fast intervention of traffic authorities and eradicating dangerous effects on road network. The research elaborates on weather exemplary data collected by mobile sensor. Authors also established possible solution for monitoring and control atmospheric conditions using public transportation system in urban area.

    The development of technology has been significantly give the implication towards consumer’s behaviour in having the online purchase intention via mobile app that has been developed by the e-commerce company to serve better and deliver a better service to the consumers; especially when internet has connected people through their smartphones. The insignificant growth in doing the online purchase via mobile app which does not go along with the growth of internet mobile users in Indonesia and Singapore will deliver this study in order to evaluate and validate the implication of ease of use, usefulness, system quality, information quality, and service quality towards consumer’s behaviour in having the online purchase intention via mobile app. Data was gathered with survey by spreading 100 questionnaires randomly to the respondents who had the experience in doing the online purchase via mobile app in the last 6 months in Indonesia and Singapore. The methodology in doing this study is the quantitative approach by considering the connection amongst the independent variables and the dependent variables. This research found that usefulness and information quality significantly affect the online purchase intention through mobile app in Indonesia while in Singapore ease of use, usefulness, and service quality significantly affect the online purchase intention through mobile app.
