Military classes in Poland can be defined as classes of lower secondary and upper secondary schools, which carry out broadly defined education for safety and participate with the Ministry referred to by their name. Also, the programmes of these classes are enriched with issues related to the defence of the country, the history of the Polish army and the evolution of patriotic attitudes among children and young people. Military classes in Poland are very popular among both teachers and students. The purpose of this article is to examine military classes in Poland, with particular focus on experience in this field, as well as an indication of capabilities, and, thus, the developmental prospects of these classes. The analysis was carried out starting with a presentation of the origins of functioning military classes, after which the current possibilities of building programmes of these classes were presented. In the next part of the work the author has carried out a preliminary diagnosis of the functioning of military classes. Subsequently, the proposal of a programme of military classes, which was developed at the National Defence Academy in Warsaw in 2014, is revealed. The whole article ends with a summary and conclusions.

Opis:
The military cooperation between Poland and the USA so far has undoubtedly influenced the shape of the external security. The tangible expression of this cooperation is, among others, the signing of an agreement between Poland and the USA for the purchase of the Patriot system in July 2017. As a result, Poland joined the elite group of countries possessing weapons capable of countering enemy ballistic and maneuvering missiles. It also adjusts the domestic armed forces to the NATO standards and the requirements of the modern battle-field. An additional aspect of the existing cooperation between Poland and the USA is the agreement on the protection of classified information in the military sphere. In this context, the aim of this article is to identify the scope of cooperation between Poland and the USA in the area of security measures, which should guarantee the protection of classified information considering the interests of both countries. During the considerations, two basic research methods were used: analysis and synthesis. The former method was used in relation to the content of the concluded contract and the opinions presented in the literature on the subject. The latter method was used to formulate conclusions resulting from the conducted analysis. The considerations undertaken proved that there is an area of mutual cooperation in the field of protection of classified information between Poland and the USA. They also made it possible to obtain an answer to the question of what security measures determine the effectiveness of the protection of classified information in the military sphere between the contracting states.

The presented paper consists outline of the probabilistic method of evaluation of military aircraft crew’s safety, which took into consideration enemy counteraction. The specific attention was focused on estimation of durability of ejection seat, which is a means of pilot’s emergency escape from aircraft. The basis of the presented model is probability of pilot’s danger to life for single sortie caused by enemy. Formulated differentiation equation characterises process of increment of successful sortie number. The equation after transformation into partial differential equation served for establishing of successful sortie distribution function and subsequently for calculation of crew safety indicators.
W artykule przedstawiono zarys probabilistycznej metody oceny bezpieczeństwa załogi wojskowego statku powietrznego uwzględniającej niszczące działanie przeciwnika. Największą uwagę skupiono na szacowaniu trwałości fotela katapultowego jako środka do awaryjnego opuszczania samolotu przez pilota. Podstawą prezentowanego modelu jest prawdopodobieństwo powstania zagrożenia dla życia pilota w pojedynczym locie statku powietrznego spowodowane przeciwdziałaniem przeciwnika. Sformułowano równanie różnicowe charakteryzujące w ujęciu probabilistycznym proces przyrostu liczby udanych lotów bojowych statku powietrznego. Równanie to po przekształceniu w równanie różniczkowe cząstkowe, posłużyło do wyznaczenia funkcji rozkładu udanych lotów bojowych, a następnie wskaźników bezpieczeństwa załogi.

This study presents possibilities to apply the numerical simulation of dynamic response for explosive (impulse) loads, caused by detonation of mine under the military armoured vehicle, acting on a crew member seating in chair, in order to determine methods to minimize the results of impact of vehicle body structure on the crew, mainly caused by it accelerations and overloads. Furthermore, this article presents factors, which have impact on numerical model and detonation phases necessary to conduct the mentioned above simulation. Information on physical values acting on the soldier and injuries resulting from such actions are important to understand how important element, improving physical protection of soldiers during mine detonation below the armoured military vehicle, is a chair. According to the dissertation "Development Of Lower Extremity Injury Criteria And Biomechanical Surrogate To Evaluate Military Vehicle Occupant Injury During An Explosive Blast Even" the most common injuries occurring during mine explosion under the military vehicles, eliminating soldiers from further service, include: sprain of vertebras, fracture of vertebra, light fracture of skull, brain shaking, brain concussion, fracture of tibia, damage to ilia, fracture of fibula bones. These injuries occur most often at the first two stages of explosion, called local and global effect.

The main goal of the research is to identify the key problems related to information security in the armed forces and to classify the most important factors and aspects necessary to increase security. The implemented research methods include a critical analysis of legal acts, organizational and competence documents, literature on the subject. Synthesis and inference were employed to achieve the formulated goals. The main findings indicate that the armed forces' information security system will play an increasingly important role in shaping the security of modern states and should be treated as a priority. The results of the analyzes indicate that in the coming years, the main challenge of modern armies will be to strengthen the offensive and defensive information capabilities of the state. The general findings of this article present the view that information security is a key task for the armed forces to ensure national security. Therefore, it is necessary to revise, clarify and tighten up the procedures in force for the protection of key information processed in the state -especially in the armed forces – which should have adequate capabilities to conduct complex operations in cyberspace. Moreover, the need for a thorough and comprehensive analysis of this topic is confirmed.

Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy zagadnień związanych z bezpieczeństwem wojskowych pojazdów kołowych. W artykule przeprowadzono analizę literaturową badań prowadzonych z udziałem kołowych pojazdów wojskowych. Podstawą do prowadzonych analiz są zawarte w treściach publikacji wyniki badań eksperymentalnych i symulacyjnych. Poruszane zagadnienia mają ścisły związek z bezpieczeństwem pojazdów, stąd też tytuł artykułu. Rezultaty analizy mogą być przydatne dla sił zbrojnych i przemysłu zbrojeniowego. Efekty wymierne obejmują zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa pojazdu i związane z tym obniżenie ryzyka wypadków drogowych, obniżenie kosztów budowy aplikacji wojskowych pojazdów kołowych, obniżenie kosztów wykonywania ewentualnych zmian w pojazdach seryjnych oraz pozyskanie dla potrzeb wojska polskiego optymalnych konstrukcji pod względem bezpieczeństwa.
This paper refers to the issues related to safety of military wheeled vehicles. The paper contains a reference analysis of research studies conducted with military wheeled vehicles. Experimental and simulation research results, contained in this publication, constitute the basis for the analyses performed. The issues touched upon here are closely related to vehicles safety, which is reflected in the title of the paper. The analysis results may be useful for armed forces and the arms industry. Measurable effects result in increased safety of a vehicle, thus leading to a reduced risk of road accidents, reduced costs of building applications for military wheeled vehicles, lowered costs of making any possible changes in serial vehicles, and an acquisition of optimal structural designs in terms of safety for the Polish Armed Forces.

The paper presents the methodology prepared by the author. During the process of acquiring new vehicles for the armed forces, time is of the essence in practice of conducting a wide range of structure changes in previously implemented undercarriages. It has to be pointed out that with a high individuality and the very nature of the units, difficulties in scope of comprehensive testing with regard to matters of transport safety. What is more, two determinants are essential in the process of acquiring equipment - time and cost. The process does not allow for improvement and perfecting of the structure, and the research in scope of wheel vehicle movement safety may be limited. The procedure of implementation and verification of equipment stresses the structure optimization as early as on the designing and prototype preparation stages. The procedure of acquiring new wheel vehicles for the military is one of the main premises for preparing the methodology with use of simulation research. Conducting research on the basis of the prepared methodology allows for avoiding possible traffic risks. The methodology enables an effective support for the current process of wheel vehicle acquisition for the armed forces. In this work the research procedure consisting of the necessary range of prepared, experimentally verified models, accepted by the methodology, have been verified. In order to do that two simulation models have been built, both of various levels of complexity.

The article describes 10 known programmes of practical flight training in military aviation – specialization: Multi-Mission Tactical Jet Pilot, which is the highest level of military pilot training in all types of military and civil aviation – comparable only to the level of training and experience of the pilot-instructor of the Military Aviation School. The presented comparison was developed on the basis of literature research from the point of view of, among others, an aircraft operation engineer and a pilot-instructor.
W artykule Kompleksowy system kształcenia personelu latającego podnoszący bezpieczeństwo w eksploatacji statków powietrznych opisano 10 systemów praktycznego szkolenia lotniczego występujących w świecie lotnictwa wojskowego – specjalność: Pilot Samolotu Odrzutowego – Wielozadaniowego (PSO-W) – jest to najwyższy poziom wyszkolenia pilota wojskowego ze wszystkich rodzajów lotnictwa wojskowego i cywilnego – porównywalny jedynie z poziomem wyszkolenia i doświadczenia pilota-instruktora Wojskowej Szkoły Lotniczej) na podstawie badań literaturowych z punktu widzenia m.in. inżyniera eksploatacji statków powietrznych i pilota-instruktora.

Wzrost liczby i zakresu wszelkiego rodzaju zagrożeń stał się nieodłącznym elementem życia człowieka we współczesnym świecie, a także wyznacznikiem jego bezpiecznej egzystencji. Mówiąc o zagrożeniach, mamy na uwadze głównie zagrożenia militarne, terroryzm, zorganizowaną przestępczość, antropogenne niebezpieczeństwa ekologiczne, czy też klęski żywiołowe. Różnorodność zagrożeń obecnego czasu powoduje, że zadaniem współczesnych sił zbrojnych stało się reagowanie nie tylko na zagrożenia o charakterze militarnym, ale też gotowość do reagowania na zagrożenia o charakterze niemilitarnym. Z uwagi na natężenie i rozmiar zagrożeń o charakterze niemilitarnym, służby cywilne, ustawowo powołane do ich zwalczania i przeciwdziałania ich skutkom, często stają się bezradne wobec zaistniałej sytuacji. W takich przypadkach niezbędna jest pomoc i zaangażowanie wszystkich dostępnych sił, jakie znajdują się w dyspozycji państwa, w tym sił zbrojnych.
An increase in the number of threats of all kinds and their scope have become an inherent element of a man’s life in the contemporary world, as well as an indicator of his safe existence. Speaking of threats, what one has in mind is mainly military threats, terrorism, organised crime, anthropogenic ecological threats or natural disasters. A diversity of current threats results in the situation that the job of contemporary armed forces now no longer includes responding to threats of military nature only, but they also have to be ready to deal with nonmilitary threats. Because of the intensity and size of threats of non-military nature, civil services, appointed by law to combating them and counteracting their effects, are often helpless in the face of the existing situation. In such cases assistance and involvement of all services available that are at the disposal of the state, including armed forces, is essential.

W artykule ukazano rolę sił zbrojnych w państwie z perspektywy głównych nurtów teorii stosunków cywilno-wojskowych. Stosunki cywilno-wojskowe stanowią interdyscyplinarną subdyscyplinę, która koncentruje się głównie na roli sił zbrojnych w państwie oraz ich miejscu i relacjach ze społeczeństwem. Obejmują one całe spektrum relacji pomiędzy rządem, społeczeństwem i siłami zbrojnymi. Ich istotę w społeczeństwach demokratycznych stanowi odpolitycznienie wojska, jego neutralność w kwestiach polityki państwa i podporządkowanie władzom cywilnym, które stanowią instytucjonalną formę wyrazu woli społeczeństwa. Analitycy stosunków cywilnowojskowych zwracają uwagę na szereg atrybutów niezbędnych dla sprawowania efektywnej demokratycznej kontroli nas siłami zbrojnymi. Często wskazuje się na reformy w sferze konstytucyjnej, administracyjnej, ekonomicznej, strukturalnej oraz społecznej, które pomocne są w osiąganiu zachodnich standardów stosunków cywilno-wojskowych.
In the article there was showed the role of armed strengths in the state with perspective of main currents of the theory of the civil and military relations. The Civil and military relations state the interdisciplinary subdiscipline which focuses mainly on the role of armed strengths as well as their place and relations with society. They include the whole spectrum of the relations r among the government, the society and the armed strengths. Their essential matters in the democratic societies are the depoliticize of army, the neutrality of the state policy and the subordination of the civil administration which makes up the institutional form of the society will. The analysts of the civil and military relations pay the attention for many indispensable attributes helpful in the effective democratic control under the army. There was often showed on some reforms in constitutional, administrative, economic, structural and social sphere which are helpful in achieving the western standards of the civil and military relations.

Wspólnym mianownikiem jest dostrzeganie obszarów wspólnych i stwierdzenia, że bezpieczeństwo to stan w którym podmiot do którego się odnosi nie znajduje się w stanie zagrożenia, a także jest w stanie realizować stawiane jemu zadania czy też osiągać założone cele. Celem artykułu jest wykazanie, że określenie bezpieczeństwo logistyczne w odniesieniu do Sił Zbrojnych RP nie jest nadużyciem i jego stosowanie jako określenie stanu zaspokojenia potrzeb logistycznych i zdolności do realizacji zadań jest w pełni uzasadnione. W artykule przedstawiono jako podmiot Siły Zbrojne RP, które generują potrzeby logistyczne i ich zaspokojenie zapewnia warunki wykonania zadań co w konsekwencji zapewnia im bezpieczeństwo logistyczne.
The concept of security is defined by different scholars. These definitions as they relate to the same matter differ in the details of the resulting from the point of view of the individual authors. The common denominator is the perception of common areas and determine that security is a State in which the entity to which it refers is not under threat, and is also able to carry out for him a task or achieve goals. The aim of the article is to demonstrate that the term security logistics for the armed forces of the RP is not abusive and its use as the State meet the needs of the logistics and the ability to carry out tasks is fully justified. This article presents as an entity armed forces RP, that generate the logistical needs and their satisfaction provides the conditions for the implementation of tasks which in turn provides them with security.

Polish soldiers have been participating in peacekeeping and stabilization missions around the world for several decades under the auspices of the UN, OSCE, NATO and the EU. They were first sent to Korea in 1953 to oversee a ceasefire between the North and South Koreas. Since then, nearly 70,000 Polish troops have taken part in 58 peace and humanitarian multinational missions on different continents (SKMP ONZ, 2019), which required from them great skills to cooperate with soldiers from other countries, to overcome cultural barriers,  as well as adaptation to difficult, often completely different than in Europe, climatic conditions,  and to create a system of safeguards and procedures against dangerous tropical diseases. Due to these reasons, biological safety, i.e.,  medical, sanitary-hygienic, and anti-epidemic security of the contingent, plays a significant role in every mission because it allows the soldiers and civilian personnel stay healthy in an unfavorable and different climate and environmental conditions.
