Tematem opracowania jest architektura jednorodzinnych domów mieszkalnych projektowanych
w latach 80-tych i 90-tych XX wieku i w pierwszych latach po roku 2000. Na przykładach własnych prac
autor ukazuje występujące w tym czasie tendencje w projektowaniu budynków jednorodzinnych1.
Prezentowane projekty powstały na zamówienie prywatnych inwestorów jako budynki wolnostojące.
W końcowej części pokazano fragmenty dwóch prac dyplomowych wykonanych na kierunku studiów
architektura w roku 2003 pod kierunkiem autora. Wspólną, łączącą je cechą jest nawiązanie do
tradycyjnej architektury regionalnej Górnego Śląska. Mieszczą się one zatem w nurcie architektury
postmodernistycznej2, a także kierunków określanych jako architektura neotradycjonalna
i architektura miejsca3. W kilku projektach zastosowano specyficzne rozwiązanie przestrzenne
– zaprojektowano pokój dzienny jako wydzielony z bryły budynku, o większej wysokości niż inne
pomieszczenia mieszkalne i nieznacznie uniesiony nad terenem co umożliwia dobry kontakt
z ogrodem. Artykuł jest próbą podsumowania własnych doświadczeń w projektowaniu i realizacji
jednorodzinnych domów mieszkalnych.
Presented own designs single-family residential development of the 80s., 90s. XX century and the beginning of XXI. century made with the author’s collaboration arch. Alina Borowczak-Grzybowska. Presented detached houses were made to individual order of private investors as an alternative to typical projects „home directories”. They are housed in the mainstream of postmodernism and are embedded in the regional architectural tradition of Upper Silesia. Due to the nature of the border region and its landscape diversity of this tradition it is heterogeneous. There here the influence of Polish culture in its various forms, Czech, German and in the north-eastern part of region - Russia. To folk architecture of the Silesian Beskid refers design holiday home in Porąbka-Kozubniku and Dissertation „project agritourism farms” in Istebna. Single-family houses in Toszek, Kielcza and Brzękowicach near Psary are an attempt contemporary interpretation of a small manor occurring on the northern, eastern and southern borderlands region. Houses in Opole and Gliwice are the proposals of urban detached houses with steep roofs adapted to the surrounding buildings from the late nineteenth. and XX. century. Thesis „single-family housing in Zabrze” refers to the tradition of building workers in the industrial part of Upper Silesia. Recreational and residential buildings in Żyłka can be associated with the early modernist villas with 20-years of the last century, of which numerous examples can be found in the region. Against the background of comments concerning housing in Poland during their formation, forming the historical context of the works presented, the author describes the spatial solutions of buildings. Of the 12 presented projects 6 have been implemented. Also shown 2 theses done under the guidance of the author’s undertaking on modern interpretations of regional architecture. - Źródło:
