W artykule przedstawiono stosowane metody suszenia transformatora na miejscu zainstalowania. Podano opis technologii grzania uzwojeń prądem niskiej częstotliwości (LFH). Przedstawiono elementy instalacji, opis przebiegu samego procesu i jego kluczowe parametry. Skuteczność działania metody LFH zaprezentowano na podstawie wybranych projektów, dla jednostek różnej wielkości, napięć i konstrukcji.
The introduction contains general information about presence and distribution of moisture in power transformers. Sources of water as well as corresponding threats influencing transformer operational safety and reliability are presented. Further, the authors briefly describe the methods typically used for on-site transformer drying as alternatives to Low Frequency Heating. The core of the paper is comprised of a detailed description of the LFH method, which is an advanced field service proposition of transformer condition improvement, engineered and deployed in numerous countries by ABB Transformer Service. The LFH installation components as well as the drying process description and key monitored parameters are given. The effectiveness of the LFH method is proven basing upon selected on-site projects pertaining transformers of different sizes, HV level, design and operation regime. Additional focus is placed on the significance of high vacuum in the drying process especially with regard to its effectiveness, which is then comparable with vapour phase factory drying. Finally, examples of the LFH combined with oil reclaiming during on-site projects are given. Through such approach, not only is the actual transformer condition improved and risk of failure diminished, but also the expected transformer lifetime may be significantly extended due to inhibited degradation of the oil-paper insulation system. - Źródło:
