    Pursuant to the statistics data of Eurostat, the economy of European Union is slowly recovering from year lasting recession. The gross domestic product volume increased in 2nd quarter of the year 2013 by 0,3%. The industrial companies in EU are nevertheless facing still increasing competitiveness as the European and global markets are developing under current business conditions. To be successful within the frame of current supply chains the companies must have well-developed logistics management systems to effectively treat with flows streaming in their inner or outer supply chains. One of the main elements of company logistics management systems is inventory management subsystem to plan, to manage and to control particular stock items. In the paper it is briefly described the methodics to design effective inventory management system whether in industrial or service company (Hart, Musil & Taraba, 2014).

    Contemporary global business market environment is characterized by high level of various requirements which are imposed on industrial companies in every branch. Those needs are related to e.g. manufacturing type, product quality and quantity, customer service, logistics indicators, etc. In final consequence the companies make an effort to develop logistics management systems to effectively manage their bulky material flows and simultaneously to minimize their costs. The enterprise logistics management systems are consisting of several subsystems, one of them is production logistics subsystem to effectively plan, to manage and to control all flows of manufacturing processes. For development of such subsystem it's necessary to have drawing documentation of production layouts. Production layouts are therefore crucial to effectively manage all manufacturing operations within the frame of given production logistics subsystem. Under current market conditions the companies should have drawing documentation of their production layouts in desired detail - industrial zone layout, production hall layout, production line layout, production workshop or cell layout and production workplace layout.

    Multicultural education is a cross-cutting theme in the state educational programme ISCED 1 – primary education. In primary education, multicultural education can be taught as a separate subject or it can be included in other ongoing subjects. When applying multicultural education it is also important that the teacher doesn’t have prejudices against any ethnic group or nationality. He/she should also use appropriate methods that lead to pupils becoming more tolerant.

    Introduction of quality management systems in the enterprise is increasingly wellknown and effective way to increase economic efficiency. Quality management systems are not only a way to improve the overall profitability of the company, the systems also strengthen the market position of the company and increase customer confidence. The paper presents selected aspects of the implementation of the quality management system in all logistic processes: procurement, production and distribution in the food industry. As an example, served GoodMills Poland, Europe's largest company specializing in the production of flour and bran.

    W artykule tym autor wskazuje zarówno na określone luki pojęciowe w systemie kartezjańskim, jak i wyjaśnia potrzebę wypełnienia tych luk - w przekonaniu autora może się to przyczynić zarówno do większej jasności wypowiedzi Kartezjusza, jak i do ich większej spójności logicznej. Szczegółowo analizuje jedynie dwa z takich pojęć, tj. metodyki i metodologii. Oba mają charakter kategorialny, ale pierwsze z nich jest ogólniejsze niż drugie. Krótko rzecz ujmując, metodyka dotyczyć może zarówno zasad poznawczych, jak i moralnych, wyznaniowych i innych jeszcze, natomiast metodologia tych reguł, które są zalecane i stosowane w którymś z tych obszarów problemowych. Autor przyjmuje również, że z metodyką mamy do czynienia wówczas, gdy mowa jest o czynnościach przygotowawczych do intelektualnego wkroczenia na każdy z tych obszarów myślenia i praktycznego postępowania i poszukujemy tych racji, które sprawiają, żc to myślenie i postępowanie staje się racjonalne. Natomiast z metodologią mamy do czynienia wówczas, gdy już znajdujemy się na którymś z tych obszarów i zmierzamy - w sposób racjonalnie zaplanowany - do wytyczonych na nim celów.
    The aim of this article is to point out the conceptual gaps in the Cartesian system as well as to explain the need to fill in those gaps. In author’s opinion, this might contribute to a greater clarity and logical coherence of Descartes’s thought. The Author analyses in detail only two of such terms: methodics and methodology. Both of them have a categorial character, but the first one is more general than the other. Briefly, methodics refers to cognitive, moral, religious and other rules, while methodology refers to those rules which are recommended and applied within the aforementioned areas. The Author also assumes that we have to do with methodics when we prepare ourselves to intellectually enter each of those areas of thought and practical conduct and when we seek those reasons which make our thought and action rational. On the other hand, we have to do with methodology when we are in one of those areas and are heading for—in a rationally planned manner—the goals set in it.

    In the article the authors discuss the practical implementation of the model work with a plastically gifted child “Science – Art – Education”, founded at the end of 2013. As a result of implementation of the international research project. The resulting model, from the theoretical point of view, has been described in the scientific monograph edited by J. Aksman: Science – Art – Education. Innovative model of diagnosis, methods and forms of work and care for plastically gifted children. This model shows the importance of science in early school education through art, based on the innovative combination of art education and health education of children in grades 1–3 of primary school. The consequence of this combination is the intention of the authors of the project to shape life skills of the mentioned children. Theoretically reasoned innovative model Science – Art – Education (SAE) was extremely important but the initial stage of the work. Another one, which has now been adopted and which is described in the article – is associated with a wider than before application of this innovative model – with an attempt of its implementation in everyday practice of art lessons with pupils in early school age. This task involves a further, currently implemented on a research project The effectiveness of the model of work with a plastically gifted child “Science – Art – Education” in the three-year cycle of lessons (WPiNH/DS/5/2015) directed by J. Aksman. The attempts to further applications of the Innovative Model into daily teaching practice and forms of its popularization are very important and they are described in this article: – the creation by J. Aksman and J. Gabzdyl and publishing by Oficyna Wydawnicza AFM (Publishing House AFM) methodological studies in early school age and materials for students as well as teachers who have been currently participating in the model SAE under the guidance of J. Aksman in Województwo małopolskie (Lesser Poland Voivodeship); – the introduction of newer and newer appropriate contents to the educational programs of students majoring in Pedagogy at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Academy in Cracow; – training of professionally active teachers of Województwo małopolskie (Lesser Poland Voivodeship); – as well as training of scientific staff and students Educational faculty at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, implemented within the framework of international cooperation, including participation of J. Aksman and J. Gabzdyl in a research project Strategy in the education of art – the creation of new models and study materials for courses (KEGA č. 036UMB-4/2015) under the guidance of L. Kasáčová.

    The article pertains to the methodological status of the Environmental Protection and the specificity of the research methods in this science. The Environmental Protection has recently become a recognized scientific discipline in Poland. As opposed to other European countries, it has been qualified as belonging to three fields of science. The current moment is the time of its formation and development as a scientific discipline. Separating it from other scientific disciplines evokes questions regarding its methodological connections with its mother disciplines. The research methods used in the Environmental Protection are similar to the methods applied in the discipline of chemistry, natural sciences, and agriculture. The aforementioned methods possess also other specific features, take the example of the fact that they are regulated by the law, and benefit from the technologically advanced examination apparatus. The article describes the selected methods in the Environmental Protection and poses the question regarding the methodology applied in this science.

    The article describes the proper way to review scientific work from the field of the penal sciences. It includes an outline and discussion of all the necessary elements of a scientific review. The appropriate methodology of a criminal-law scientific study is also presented. Finally, a model for anoptimal scientific review is proposed.
