Opis:
The problems of embedding of message codes into Acoustic environment of speech are researched. The peculiarities of speech perception by human hearing are analyzed. As an example of acoustic Messager environment and codes of hidden messages embedded into it is reviewed a channel of mobile Communications in the part of transformations which are implemented with acoustic signals. Approach to build a model of process of transmission of speech via non-linear channel basing on imagination about speech signals spectrum is developed. The proposals on methods of use of such models for analysis and interpretation of distortions of signals made by transformations, implemented in example channel are presented.

The aim of the paper is to determine the genre status of text messages. The author proves that the text message is a genologic sign of our times. It is a an example of a 'mixture' form - a polymorphic, polythematic, and polyfunctional hybrid that is difficult to be qualified genologically because it shows a similarity to a letter and to a conversation (colloquial genres). However, it has still numerous features that make us classify it as a separate genre evolving in accordance with the culture development rhythm.

Dans cet article, on montre que le nom message réalise le principe de pertinence dans le discours journalistique français (Sperber, Wilson 1989). Il sert à attirer l’attention du destinataire sur l’intention informative et communicative du locuteur ainsi que d’introduire l’interprétation du message sémiotique contenu dans la communication non-verbale. Le nom message remplit trois fonctions discursives (métadiscursive, intertextuelle et interdiscursive) en permettant d’introduire la parole de l’autre par le discours direct, indirect, les explications et les reformulations.
This paper concentrates on the functions of the noun message in press discourse. It is shown that by using this noun the journalist or politician fulfills the Principle of Relevance (Sperber, Wilson 1989) by focusing the attention of lecturer/hearer on his informative and communicative intentions, the most important from his perspective. These intentions are interpreted as a sense of message, in discursive terms: quotations, indirect speech, explications, reformulations, markers of intertextuality and interdiscursivity. The last purpose of this paper is to analyse some aspects of nonverbal political message. The journalist interprets the sense of gestures, behaviour, decisions, etc., which convey some political meaning through the recognition of informative and communicative intentions of politicians in specific context in which communication takes place.

The article brings closer various ways in which the president of United States Donald Trump image is presented in mass media, especially in the world press. The positive as well as the negative Donald Trump’s image is created and communicated to their receivers in accordance with models of communication such as: the mathematical model of communication as a process by Shannon and Weaver (1949) and the interpersonal model of communication DRAAM (domain-resource-agent-access-management) created by Puppel (2004). The article concentrates on the management of information and creation of media messages using communicative resources in which way to achieve anticipated reaction of the receiver to the featured image.

The article is devoted to a linguistic analysis of sale advertisements for women’s clothing. The main purpose of the article is to identify the means used by the authors of advertisements for women’s clothing in order to encourage the customers to make purchase. The study concentrates on the linguistic and visual aspects of the discussed microtexts. Firstly, the conducted studies have showed that the authors of advertisements try to establish dialog with an addressee of their message by the use of question forms or imperative mode. Secondly, a macroact which is the advertisement of clothing, can be composed of at least nine microacts that are intended to encourage, praise, advise or promise. In order to achieve this, the advertisers use statements, abuse exclamations, emoticons, create messages that are informatively worthless. Thirdly, the authors of advertisements attach great attention to the aspect of credibility of the message, and because of that often direct attention to well-known persons, institutions or the terms of warranty. The conducted study has demonstrated that language is a basic and most important tool in constructing effective advertising messages.

This paper describes an idea and realisation of hidden data transmision using Tiny Aggregation Covert Channel (TAGCC) in Wireless Sensor Networks. Our solution uses data aggregation mechanism called Tiny Aggregation (TAG). The protocol is based on idea of hidden messages sending without generate additional data packets and encryption. The paper describes details of proposed algorithm and simulation results obtained during testing of the sensor networks with hidden channel TAGCC.

The popularity and prevalent use of Facebook among young people are common preoccupations for communication researchers. They focus on unveiling people’s motivations, usage behaviour, and gratifications offered by this communication medium. However, little attention has been invested in examining how young people perceive this new type of media consumption and its effects on themselves as compared to others. Drawing on Davison’s (1983) third-person effect hypothesis, this research paper investigates the (a) differences in estimated Facebook effects on self versus others, (b) association between the desirability of the message (anti-social versus pro-social) and estimated Facebook effects on self versus others, and (c) association between the type of the message and estimated Facebook effects on self versus others. These relationships are studied with reference to the behavioural component of the third-person effect. Results confirm that Facebook might influence the magnitude and direction of the perceptual gap of media effects.

The main object of this article is to study the role of terminology within the French epistemology called Discourse Analysis. The author examines the nature of the religious discourse and focuses on its specific denotations. She studies the pope’s message (of Benedict XVI) for 2011 World Day of the Sick to show how the French theory enhances the value of the self-constituting discourse in signs interpretation. Such a vision allows to understand interdependence between discourse and its specific meanings.  Discours et terminologie. l’exemple d’un message religieuxLe but de l’article est de réfléchir sur la nature de la terminologie dans la perspective de l’épistémologie dite Analyse du Discours à la française. On s’interroge sur la nature de la langue religieuse, considérée quelquefois comme un style ou comme une langue spécialisée. Enfin on parle du genre de message religieux. Suivent ensuite quelques analyses d’un texte représentatif du genre en question : il s’agit du Message du pape Benoît XVI adressé à l’occasion de la XIXe Journée Mondiale du Malade (le 11 février 2011). Puisque tout discours crée ses propres dénotations, l’Auteur montre que, pour les comprendre, il faut se référer au discours constituant. Comme l’un des traits du message est l’explication et la didactique des sens discursifs, l’Auteur essaie de le prouver au travers des analyses effectuées.

The Education System Act is a pro-inclusive legal act. It assumes joint education of children with and without disabilities. It is intended to forming of a new, humanized normative order. This new order should be based on knowledge, mutual respect, helpfulness and the view of the community as a social home in which there is a place for all people regardless of their level of efficiency, wealth, ethnicity or religion. The reasons for the joint education seem to be permeated by concern for human beings. However the question arises whether inclusive education in the current form really serves this purpose. To address this question I have analyzed formal and legal aspects of education. I have examined the records of the Education System Act and the textbooks. I have found that the Education System Act enables locational inclusion. I have stated that the approved textbooks for widely available middle schools contain incomprehensible content for students. They do not meet most of the required conditions for implementing tasks assigned to them in the educational process of students with mild intellectual disabilities.

Among the many ways in which workers can get safety information, the role of equipment warning labels has not been well articulated. Presumably, warning labels help prevent accidents, but questions remain about how well those labels can be expected to work. This essay describes how contextual analysis can assist our understanding of warning label effectiveness. A contextual approach was conceptualized in terms of underlying communication variables and an exploratory study was conducted in which workers were asked if they noticed and remembered warning labels on an industrial table saw that they used over a 3-month period. Results showed that equipment warning labels had a limited impact on workers. The contextual approach explained the relative effectiveness of multiple sources of information. Implications for safety training and accident liability are discussed.
