    Durante el análisis de los motivos de primavera que aparecen en 40 poesías pertenecidas a Carmina Burana hemos llegado a la conclusión de que dichos motivos son estandarizados. Se refieren mayoritariamente a los cambios primaverales en la naturaleza, como, por ejemplo, los motivos de derretimiento de la nieve, calor del sol, llegada de los calurosos vientos, aparición de la hierba, de las flores y verdes hojas, canto de los pájaros, etc. También aluden a los sentimientos humanos de alegría, amor, fascinación por la vida y por la belleza del mundo que va despertándose del sueño de invierno.

    On selected examples the author analyzes the concept of nature in the medieval court poetry. German medieval court lyric poetry, identified with love poetry, being the only phenomenon of its kind in the history of literature, surprises one with multitude of forms and themes. Although the motif of nature does not constitute its essence, it still remains its complement, for the image of nature sketched by the poets that emerges from the court poetry is the background of thoughts about love. The article about the image of nature in Konrad von Megenburg's Buch der Natur makes the reader familiar with the first attempt at systematizing the nature written in German.

    The article is a voice in the discussion on contemporary translations of medieval Latin poetry: accepted and possible ways of translating Latin poetry for todayʼs readers, situated within the field of translation studies and poetics – it is part of the research on the reception of the ancient tradition, of which translations are a particular manifestation. The subject of interest is a poem from the medieval collection Carmina Rivipullensia: the only existing collection of Latin love lyric of the Middle Ages from Spain. It testifies to the very lively presence of the Latin poetic tradition in the Iberian Peninsula at that time. This article presents a translatorʼs proposal, accompanied by a commentary, in which arguments for the chosen solutions are indicated. The aim of the article is to present the translatorʼs ideas, mainly concerning the chosen strategy for the translation of the rhymes in Latin medieval poetry, which are an important feature of the Songs.
