    The aim of this text is to present the literary image of the breakthrough that occurred with the invention of digital photography. The article focuses on the most contemporary Polish poetry – mainly authors born in the 70s, such as Jacek Dehnel, Marcin Świetlicki or Bronka Nowicka. On the basis of their texts, the literary image of both traditional analog photography and photos created with the use of the latest techniques is reconstructed. In her interpretations, the author uses the tools she has developed herself, which include concepts such as “photo-graphemicality”, which is a combination of features linking text with photography, and “photo-grapheme”, which is its individual realisation.

    The paper aims to present the potential, for foreign language students, of the exolingual interactions online in public and open forums. For the analysis of students’ commentaries, I apply the observation categories that were first elaborated for the analysis of posts published in press sites. I focus on narrative commentaries in which web users organize phenomena and events discussed in public discourse and try to give them their individual interpretation. I consider this kind of interaction on press sites as contributing to the civic debates: I argue that they can be also integrated in observation categories used to describe and analyze exchanges between students discussing social issues in reference to foreign language media information. In the paper I present two kinds of commentaries: those written by native speakers in public forums and those written by FL students in response to public commentaries.

    La présente contribution porte sur les stratégies discursives présentes dans le discours des médias numériques qui font appel au sentiment de dévouement envers la patrie. Le discours public polonais reste en étroit rapport avec la mémoire historique de la nation, marquée par les trois partages du pays, par les soulèvements contre les envahisseurs et par les guerres mondiales. Tout cela a certainement influé sur la représentation de l’identité, souvent perçue à travers le prisme de l’amour pour la patrie. Pour cette raison, nous nous proposons d’examiner les stratégies discursives présentes dans le discours de la presse nationale d’actualité afin d’étudier l’emploi des termes « patriote », « patriotisme » et « patriotique » dans la presse polonaise. Nous nous appuierons sur un corpus d’articles publiés en ligne par des titres représentatifs de la presse numérique dont l’orientation politique est soit de droite, soit de gauche, soit de centre libéral (wSieci, Do Rzeczy, Krytyka Polityczna, Dziennik Trybuna, Kultura Liberalna et Liberté).
    The present contribution focuses on the discursive strategies used in the Polish online media when they appeal to the feeling of love of the fatherland. The current Polish public discourse on patriotism continues to be marked by historical events such as the three partitions of the country, the uprisings against the invaders, and the two world wars, and the national identity is often perceived through the prism of love for the fatherland. For this reason, in this article the author examines the discursive strategies currently used the Polish national media as well as the meanings that terms such as patriot, patriotism, and patriotic acquire. The corpus-based analysis draws on articles from online newspapers’ archives published by representative Polish media from right, left and liberal center political orientations (wSieci, Do Rzeczy, Krytyka Polityczna, Dziennik Trybuna, Kultura Liberalna and Liberté).

    The revision of key topics that are related to film parody. The crucial question of Marek Hendrykowski’s research sounds as follows: what is the semiotic mechanism that gives parodistic effect expressed in the language of motion pictures? According to the author, conditio sine qua non of each parody are: incorrectness, caricatural exaggeration, comic effect, deconstruction, pars destruens and new meaning of old characteristic elements confronting the audience and its common memory. In the light of new reading and revised definition of this term, film parody is not a separate genre but rather meta-genre in its relations to many other film genres and individual screen performances being object of parody

    Les relations entre la Russie et la Turquie ont une longue histoire, et ont traversé des phases de conflits et de longues périodes de paix et de coopération. Les rapports entre Moscou et Ankara sont caractérisés par des liens solides, indépendamment des régimes politiques. Mais dans la deuxième décennie du XXIe siècle la crise syrienne a eu un impact négatif sur les relations turco-russes. Se référant aux archives électroniques des principaux médias du monde entier, l’auteur a fait un examen complet de l’état des relations entre la Turquie et la Russie, depuis le déclenchement de la guerre civile en Syrie, jusqu’à l’incident tragique de l’avion russe abattu par la l’armée turque. Le contexte historique a été analysé afin de mieux comprendre la complexité des relations entre Ankara et Moscou sur la question syrienne. L’auteur s’interroge sur les causes réelles de la guerre civile en Syrie, un pays sous le long règne du clan des Alaouite, du père Hafez al-Assad à son fils Bachar al-Assad. Les questions de conflits d’intérêts des acteurs extérieurs au conflit en Syrie sont également analysés, en particulier les priorités opposées entre les Turques et Russes, qui, entre autres, ont conduit à la rupture diplomatique, pour un temps, entre les deux pays.
    Relations between Russia and Turkey have a long history, including both military operations and long periods of peace and cooperation. Contemporary relations between Moscow and Ankara are characterized by solid bonds, regardless of political regimes. But in the second decade of the twenty-first century Syrian crisis had a negative impact on Turkish-Russian relations. Referring to archives of electronic resources of the world’s leading media, the author made a comprehensive review of the status of relations between Turkey and Russia, since the outbreak of civil war in Syria, until a tragic incident, a Russian aircraft shot down by the Turkish army. It was analyzed historical context to better understand the complexity of relations between Ankara and Moscow on the Syrian issue. The author makes reflections on the causes of the civil war in Syria, a country under a long reign of Alawite clan, from the father Hafez al-Assad to his son Bashar al-Assad. The issues of conflicting interests of external actors to the conflict in Syria are also analysed, especially the variety of Turkish and Russian priorities, which among other things led to the rupture, for a time, of any relationship between the two countries.
    Stosunki między Rosją a Turcją mają długą historię, obejmującą zarówno działania wojenne, jak i długie okresy pokoju i współpracy. Współczesne stosunki między Moskwą a Ankarą charakteryzują się solidnymi więzami, niezależnie od reżimów politycznych. Jednak w drugiej dekadzie XXI wieku kryzys syryjski miał negatywny wpływ na relacje turecko-rosyjskie. Odwołując się do archiwalnych zasobów elektronicznych wiodących mediów światowych, autor dokonał kompleksowego przeglądu stanu stosunków turecko-rosyjskich, od wybuchu wojny domowej w Syrii, aż do tragicznego incydentu samolotu rosyjskiego zestrzelonego przez armię turecką. Został zanalizowany kontekst historyczny, co pozwoli lepiej zrozumieć złożoność stosunków między Ankarą i Moskwą w sprawie problemu syryjskiego. Autor podejmuje rozważania nad przyczynami wojny domowej w Syrii, kraju, w którym od dawna panuje klan alawitów, od ojca Hafeza al-Assada do syna Baszara al-Assada. W polu uwagi znalazły się także kwestie sprzecznych interesów zewnętrznych aktorów konfliktu w Syrii, a zwłaszcza różnorodność tureckich i rosyjskich priorytetów, co między innymi doprowadziło do zerwania, przez pewien czas, wszelkich relacji pomiędzy obydwoma państwami.

    W latach 80. prasa niezależna odegrała szczególną rolę w walce o przemiany ustrojowe w Polsce. Jednym z ważniejszych ośrodków jej funkcjonowania był Kraków. Dlatego przedmiotem analiz w tym artykule staną się tytuły i podtytuły krakowskich i małopolskich czasopism drugiego obiegu. Spojrzenie na tę prasę z perspektywy onomastyki medialnej, a zwłaszcza – onomastycznej analizy dyskursu, dobrze pokazuje specyfikę sytuacji społeczno-politycznej, w której one funkcjonowały, oraz świat wartości jej autorów i czytelników. Uwidaczniają się w nich – po pierwsze – leksemy mówiące o potrzebie rzetelnej informacji, niezależności, wolności, a po drugie – takie, które pokazywały rzeczywistość w kategoriach wojny oraz zachęcały do buntu i sygnalizowały konieczność szybkich zmian. Wszystkie tego typu zabiegi językowe miały na celu pozytywną autotoprezentację i konsolidację środowisk opozycyjnych, które wyraźnie i na różne sposoby kontestowały rzeczywistość PRL i chciały jej przeobrażeń. W tych celach autorzy tytułów sięgali także po potoczność, ironię, gry językowe i wartościowanie.
    In the 1980s illegal press played very important role in the fight about political changes in Poland and it also was one of the most important tools against official government language. This press was a part of bigger picture of the language self-defence in totalitarian political system. One of the most important places of its functioning was Cracow. At the beginning, a short description of the Cracow and Małopolska illegal press will be presented. However the main subject of the analysis in this article are titles and subtitles illegal press in the communism time in Cracow and the surrounding, especially various naming strategies used in this titles, as well as their functions. The closer look on that press from the medial onomastic perspective and especially from onomastic discourse analysis shows very well very interesting issues: specific social and political situation of that pass time or also the backgrounds and common values of their authors and readers. In the titles and subtitles of the analysed press we can find words phrases showing the huge needs of truthful information and of independence and freedom and also showing reality as a war. Independence press titles focus also on agitating to the revolt and changes, which consolidate illegal movement and groups protesting against PRL system. In order to achieve their goal, the authors use various naming strategies: the literary references, words pathos or also everyday language, irony, various language games and onomastic provocations (e.g. spelling mistakes, parody of official language, ambiguous titles).
