Opis:: This paper focuses mainly on performance analysis for three biogas stations situated within the territory of the Czech Republic. This paper contains basic details of the individual biogas stations as well as description of their types. It also refers to the general description of the measurement gauge involved, with specifications of its potential use. The final part of this paper deals with the analysis of course data obtained, with special regard to voltage, current, active power and reactive power data.

Opis:: Uzasadniono potrzebę tworzenia Informatycznego Systemu Metrologicznej Bazy Danych przeznaczonego dla sieci laboratoriów badawczych i wzorcujących. Wyjaśniono, dlaczego system taki powinien składać się z dwóch baz danych: bazy operacyjnej oraz bazy analitycznej zwanej także hurtownią danych. Opisano najważniejsze etapy tworzenia takiego systemu decydujące o jego ostatecznej strukturze zapewniającej oczekiwaną funkcjonalność oraz dostępność dla różnego rodzaju laboratoriów za pomocą sieci Internet. Przedstawiono wyniki badań opracowanego modelu operacyjnej bazy danych, stanowiącej część tworzonego systemu. Zaproponowano porządek dalszych działań zmierzających do utworzenia części analitycznej, która stanowić będzie drugą istotną część tego systemu. Wskazano na potrzebę właściwego podziału ról w zespole realizującym projekt i uzasadniono przyjętą metodykę dalszych działań.
The need for developing the Metrological Database Information System for the network of testing and calibration laboratories is shown in the paper. It is explained why such a system should consist of two databases: operational and analytical (called also a data warehouse). The most important stages of creating such a system deciding on its final structure are described. The structure ensures the expected functionality and availability of different kinds of laboratories by the Internet. The investigation results of the model of the operating database being the part of the created system are presented. There is proposed the sequence of further works aiming at creation of the analytical part which will be the second, essential part of this system. The need of the appropriate division of roles in the team carrying out the project is emphasized and the assumed methodology of further works is shown.

Opis:: Electric vehicles are increasingly popular means of transport. One of the most important problems of their operation is to optimize the use of a battery pack. It requires to analyze the operational characteristics of a vehicle in motion, which are stored in a database. If the measurement data are collected from many vehicles, the efficiency of their analysis is important. The objective of this article is to study the possibilities of using modern column-oriented databases in order to increase the efficiency of the analysis of selected operational characteristics of an electric vehicle. The research problem is a comparative analysis of the processing efficiency of selected measurement characteristics of an electric vehicle in relational and column-oriented data structures. Important analytical functions were formulated and recorded in the form of database queries. An experiment consisting in multiple execution of functions packages on various database structures, including a column-oriented one, was carried out. The execution time of packages and the IT system load were collected and analyzed. The analysis of the experiment results allows to conclude that the use of the column-oriented data structures made it possible to shorten the time of executing the functions analyzing the energy consumption by the electric vehicle’s drive system. Depending on the type of the analyzed characteristics of the vehicle and its method of representation in the database, a significant reduction of the analysis time compared to the relational structure was obtained. Also, a decrease in the load on the computer system during data processing on the column-oriented structures was noted. The use of the column-oriented databases in the processing and analysis of measurement operational characteristics of electric vehicles is justified and it can bring measurable effects. It should be considered that the effectiveness of solving depends on the number of the analyzed characteristics and the format of their representation in the computer.
