Opis:: This work is a direct continuation of previous works of authors ([Binderman, Borkowski, Szczesny 2008, Binderman, Szczesny 2009]). The goal of this work is to generalize known methods of constructing measures of synthetic objects, methods that use radar charts of vectors. The methods listed in this work factor in weights assigned to features and make the values of indicators independent from the ordering of considered features. The listed methods have been applied in the analysis of regional differentiation of agriculture in Poland between 2001 and 2010.

Opis:: The measure of observation depth in multidimensional samples, introduced into statistical practice by Tukey, has become a new tool for data analysis. It is a proposed method for determining multi-dimensional positional statistics, particularly in the analysis of non-typical data with outstanding observations. Applying a rule of depth helps to overcome the difficulties associated with sorting multidimensional observations. The notion of data depth has been intensively developed by many scholars, and, consequently, various criteria of the measurement of observation depth in a multidimensional samples may be found in literature. This paper contains a comparison of selected criteria of the measurement of observation depth in a two-dimensional case.
W artykule dokonano porównania wybranych kryteriów wyznaczania miary zanurzania obserwacji w statystycznej próbie dwuwymiarowej. Wnioski dotyczące porównania tych kryteriów wyciągnięto na podstawie własnych badań empirycznych na próbach dwuwymiarowych.

Opis:: This scientific article researches the procedure for issuing a European protection order by a Polish court or public prosecutor, resulting in the enforcement of protective, penal, or probation measures by a competent judicial or equivalent authority in a Member State of the European Union. These measures require refraining from staying in certain environments or places and avoiding contact with or proximity to certain people. This article does not cover provisions concerning the execution of such an order by the competent authority of a Member State. The main research objective is to demonstrate the importance of this measure in continuing the protection of the aggrieved in another Member State. The research findings are original and primarily national in scope but also relevant to other countries due to their relation to an EU instrument. This article analyses the essence of the European protection order, its issuance requirements, including the ruling on the aggrieved’s protection measure, necessity of issuing the order, aggrieved’s motion, issuance proceedings, authorised issuing authorities, ruling form, forum for issuance, issuance mode, right to appeal, order transmission, and information obligations. The paper is significant for its in-depth dogmatic analysis and substantial theoretical content and is practical in guiding interpretation of the requirements for the application of this measure and the issuance procedure.

Opis:: Construction of confidence regions for multi-dimensional samples is usually performed with a known stochastic distribution of a random vector in question. However, for multidimensional studies of socio-economic phenomena, such an assumption is difficult to make. Bootstrap methods can be helpful. The main problem with its application is the aligning of respective vectors. To this end, depth measures are used which express the vector distance from the central vector system cluster. Among many such depth measures, the Mahalanobis measure is one of the easiest from a numerical point of view. This paper presents a bootstrap region creation algorithm. It was illustrated for a two-dimensional sample.
W pracy przedstawiony został algorytm tworzenia obszarów bootstrapowych. Do konstrukcji tych obszarów wykorzystano miary zanurzania obserwacji w próbie. Konstrukcję zaprezentowano dla przypadku dwuwymiarowego.

Opis:: The results of the calculation of the Choquet integral of a monotone function on the nonnegative real line have been described. Next, the authors prepresented Choquet integral of nonmonotone functions, by constructing monotone functions from nonmonotone ones by using the increasing or decreasing rearrangement of a nonmonotone function. Finally, this paper considers some applications of these results to the continuous agregation operator OWA, and to the representation of risk measures by Choquet integral.

Opis:: This paper discusses selected issues of juvenile delinquency proceedings. It points the reader’s attention to the difference in the approach towards a juvenile offender. This different approach consists in shaping the way the state reacts to them breaking a legal norm and directing it towards resocializing education. It underlines the specific characteristics of the interactions’ subject – a juvenile whose identity and social attitudes are in the making. These features justify the fact that educational and reformatory measures based on the law on juvenile delinquency proceedings are applied in their case, rather than the punitive ones defined in the Penal Code. The paper analyses selected topics related to executing specific (educational or reformatory) measures that spark controversy among the entities that take up educational, activating and aid-related actions.
