Opis:: The aim of this paper is to present the idea of violence in Nietzsche’s work, seen as a basic principle that organizes and unites different elements of his philosophy. Violence is one of its crucial categories, which he exploits in his descriptions and analyses of metaphysical, historical and social-cultural reality. In what follows, I shall examine different meanings and renditions of violence in Nietzsche, both in their negative as well as positive aspects. I shall start from an attempt to locate Nietzsche’s understanding of violence within the Western philosophical tradition. Then, I will discuss it in the light of the evolution of Nietzsche’s work. By analyzing the positive and constructive meaning of violence, I shall be able to conclude the essay by emphasizing that in Nietzsche’s political project violence acquires a spiritual and sublime nature.

Opis:: The article concerns the role of motivation among early education teachers in striving for pedagogical mastery. The aim of the exploratory research was to outline the motives of early childhood education teachers in their pursuit of pedagogical mastery. The main challenge was to determine what factors motivate a teacher to strive for excellence and what methods are used to achieve it. This question was answered by collecting empirical evidence from January to May 2019. The research conducted by the author was of a mixed nature (quantitative and qualitative). The findings suggest that there are many motives for Polish teachers of early childhood education to achieve pedagogical mastery, but chief among them is financial gratification. In Poland, the amount of remuneration depends on one’s professional degree. A professional career and its further advancement is balanced with the journey to achieve pedagogical mastery.

Opis:: In recent years, specialist literature has particularly focused on the understanding of the modes of psychological adaptation to organic pathologies. A number of close investigations within the fields of medical and health psychology have been devoted to the analysis of situations characterised by a state of chronicity of organic pathology. Relying on the data deriving from such studies, the different authors tend to point out that illnesses represent a threat to the subject's psychophysical and relational integrity, thus constituting as a source of frustration and anxiety. Researchers belonging to different theoretical approaches raise a number of questions as to the role of personality and/or the subjective mode to react to tough, stressful, unexpected, negative situations, such as the emergence of a severe physical illness. Current research approaches essentially intend to explain the individual differences in the reactivity to negative stimuli by analysing the interactions between situational attributes and personality dispositions (for instance, trait anxiety).

Sukcesy uczniów zależą od nauczyciela, a studentów – od wykładowców. Co jest najważniejsze – cechy osobowości czy kompetencje profesjonalne? Kim jest Mistrz? Na czym polega mistrzostwo pedagogiczne? To pytania, na które odpowiedzi poszukuje nie tylko początkujący nauczyciel, ale i nauczyciel z doświadczeniem. Pojęcie mistrzostwa pedagogicznego jest obecne w życiu wielu ludzi. Nie można sobie wyobrazić edukacji bez Mistrza; ludzie tęsknią za nim, wspominają. Każda szkoła szczyci się legendarnymi nauczycielami, którzy mieli wybitny wpływ na uczniów.
The purpose of this article is to present the current state of education in Ukrainian pedagogical system. The preparation of teachers to their future work in various types of educational establishments is one of the priority tasks of Ukrainian pedagogical universities. Pupils’ success depends on teachers, while students’ – depends upon lecturers. What is the most important - personality traits or a professional competence? Who is the Master? What is the pedagogical mastery based on? Not only a beginner teacher, who conducts his first lesson, looks for the answer to this question, but an experienced one. The idea of pedagogical mastery has a special place in our lives. It can not be even imagined without the Master, we miss the teachers, who could burn the interest to study, we think and remember them with pleasure. Every school is proud of its legendary teachers who had an impact on pupils.

Opis:: This review of the theoretical framework for Mastery Learning Theory and Sense of Community theories is provided in conjunction with a review of the literature for mobile technology in relation to language learning. Although empirical research is minimal for mobile phone technology as an aid for language learning, the empirical research that exists positively points toward mobile phone technology as a tool that is becoming more widely used and accepted by second language teachers. A conceptual application of the theoretical frameworks is applied to the use of mobile phone technology as a teaching aid for language learners, with the conclusion that there is an overlap worth researching empirically.

Opis:: The article is a report on the meetings conducted in 2008–2011 with the professors of pedagogy associated with the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The cycle entitled “Our Masters” was coordinated by a PhD students of pedagogy. Its aim was to discover and to discuss the scientific path, research and writing work and academic biography of professors.
Artykuł jest sprawozdaniem ze spotkań prowadzonych w latach 2008–2011 z mistrzami toruńskiej pedagogiki. Cykl zatytułowany „Nasi Mistrzowie”, koordynowany przez doktorantki pedagogiki, miał na celu poznanie drogi naukowej, warsztatu badawczego i pisarskiego, wzorców osobowych profesorów związanych z Wydziałem Nauk Pedagogicznych na Uniwerystecie Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu.

Opis:: This article discusses the problem how to turn a professional into a creator as well as what methods, techniques, trainings, concepts, the kind of training organization should be used to go from professional training to obtain Master and craftsmanship right outside universities. In ancient European art schools, specialists were educated both in mastery and creativity in all forms. Nowadays we get specialist with knowledge, but our economy requires a creator, creativity and masters. The ability to create should be the basis of ability to work, otherwise in a constant exchange of goods the student is not able to keep his job or business. The skill of creativity is the basic skill of a modern job. Masters in modern and future economy should be geniuses rather than standard workers.
W artykule są rozpatrywane sposoby przeobrażenia zwykłego specjalisty w twórczego mistrza. Omawia się również jakie metody, techniki, szkolenia, koncepcje, rodzaj organizacji szkoleń powinny być stosowane oby można byłoby przejść od zwykłego szkolenia zawodowego do twórczego, w celu uzyskania mistrza i autora kreatywnego rzemiosła na uniwersytetach. Podobnie jak w starożytnych europejskich uczelniach plastycznych kształcili specjalistów zarówno mistrzostwa i kreatywności we wszystkich formach. Teraz mamy szeregowych specjalistów z wiedzą, ale gospodarka wymaga twórców, kreatywności i mistrzowstwa. Możliwość tworzenia twórczego i kreatywność powinny być podstawą zdolności do pracy, inaczej w ciągłej zmianie towarów uczeń nie potrafi osiągnąć skutecznych wyników pracy lub sukcesów biznesowych. Umiejętności kreatywności są podstawową umiejętnością nowoczesnej pracy. Mistrzowie w nowoczesnej i przyszłej gospodarce muszą być raczej geniuszami, a nie standardowymi szarymi pracownikami.

Opis:: In this article we present a comparative case study of two master courses in mathematics organised respectively by a university in the UK and in Germany. The two cases are analysed in terms of the aspects of Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose which are related to the self-determination theory of Deci and Ryan and its concept of autonomous motivation. We reveal the differences between the two universities and consider their influence on the students behaviour and performance. Stronger features of Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose coincide with positive effects, which is in accordance with the predictions of self-determination theory. We propose Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose as a basis for establishing good practice in university teaching and make some suggestions for practical implementation.

Opis:: Tekst stanowi próbę analizy cech tytułowego konceptu, jakim jest szkoła myślenia, która wyłania się w toku uczestnictwa w sytuacjach sprzyjających uwspólnianiu doświadczenia. Tworzenie tak rozumianej szkoły myślenia jest procesem relacyjnym, tak więc w tym kontekście namysł nad relacją społeczną stał się kluczowym zadaniem. Jest także wyrazem kultury praktyki podzielanej przez uczestników aktywności i tworzonej przez nich. W rezultacie tak rozumiana szkoła myślenia stanowi splot relacji, poglądów, stanowisk, które ukierunkowują aktywność, orientują ją. W tym kontekście omawiane są relacyjne procesy trwania i transformacji szkoły myślenia, ujmowanej w licznych wymiarach.
This article is an attempt to analyze the features of the titular concept of the school of thought, which occurs through participation in situations that encourage the sharing of experience. The formation of a school of thought is understood as a relational process; therefore, in this context, a consideration of social relationships becomes a key task. It is also an expression of the culture of practice shared by participants in the activity and created by them. As a result, a school of thought is understood as an interweaving of relationships, opinions, and positions which direct and orient the activity. Relational processes are examined from this perspective, i.e. the processes of the lasting existence and transformation of a school of thought, presented in their many different dimensions.

Opis:: Features of the Рost-informational Society and the future stage of society development, so called Creative Society, are considered in this article. This is the highest stage of the Postinformation Society that will provide creativity and beauty. Meanwhile there are discussed problems corresponding to the "Creative Economy" (that is an economy based on creativity) and the education in the Creative Society. Education of Creativity is a requirement of the modern economy, without which it is largely meaningless. The task is the transition from the Information Society to the Society of Masters, from teaching knowledge - to mastery in all forms, that is, the transition from the cult of knowledge to mastery.
Cechy Рostinformacyjnego Społeczeństwa i przyszłość rozwoju społeczeństwa, m.in. Społeczeństwa Kreatywnego, są omawiane w artykule. Jest to najwyższy etap Рostinformacyjnego Społeczeństwa, który zapewni społeczeństwu kreatywność i piękno. Są także omawiane problemy korespondujące z "gospodarką kreatywną" (czyli gospodarką opartą na kreatywności) oraz edukacją kreatywną w Społeczeństwie Kreatywnym. Edukacja Kreatywności jest wymaganiem nowoczesnej gospodarki, bez której w dużej mierze nie potrafi ona skutecznie istnieć. Potrzebne rozwiązanie zadania przejścia od społeczeństwa informacyjnego do społeczeństwa Mistrzów, od wiedzy pedagogicznej - do mistrzostwa we wszystkich formach, jak również te, które są przejściem od kultu wiedzy do mistrzostwa. W przyszłości najprawdopodobniej będzie potrzeba odbudowania przedszkoli, szkoły, uczelni i studiów podyplomowych, aby móc przeznaczyć nawet dziesiątki tysięcy godzin zdolnych spowodować rozwój twórczego myślenia. Potrzebna jest cała technologia produkcji przemysłowej setek umiejętności, cech, nawyków, a nie tylko wiedzy, cała ideologia edukacji, nie tylko uzyskana od sztuki i kształcenia wirtuozów i sportowców, ale również w dziedzinie nauki i technologii od wybitnych naukowców i geniuszy.
