Opis:
The theoretical reasons of creation the reactive rotation disc engine on cascade pressure exchanger base (ERR CEP) have been stated. The particularities of ERR CEP working process in collation with wave disc engine on wave pressure exchanger base have been considered. It is in particular shown that cascade pressure exchange principles use allows vastly to increase the pressure of preliminary compression of charge and also to reduce the loss of expanding products of combustion in useful work turning moment of engine.

Opis:
The gravitational force between the mass of an average mammalian cell and the earth is in the order of a picoNewton. When applied across the plasma membrane the energy is within the domain of 10-20 J that is associated with the distance between forces of ions that are correlated with the membrane potential. Solutions for velocity and acceleration are congruent with known properties of the ion channel and cell membrane. The differences in gravitational forces between lunar perigee and apogee are within the 10-20 J range when applied across distances that constitute neuronal processes. Calculations of the ratio of gravitational force to a specific range of intensities of rotating experimental magnetic fields produce equivalent electric dipole moments (A∙m) that are within the same order of magnitude as that measured for single post-synaptic potentials. These values match the energies associated with pressures within the cell volume according to Borowski’s gravitational theory. The solutions may explain a robust behavioral effect reported over 40 years ago that indicated a powerful interaction between forces associated with lunar distances at the birth of rats exposed prenatally to rotating magnetic fields. Although the energies may be small the contributions from subtle changes in gravitational forces are within the operative range for those that influence cell function.

Opis:
Humanoid robots and humans look alike, and therefore are expected to adjust their posture in a similar way. We analysed a set of human static postures that should be considered for humanoids acting as caretakers. A dynamic situation was studied to learn how humanoids can react in a dynamical way. Human data were obtained with a professional motion capture system and anthropometric tables. The static postures were studied using a segmented human body model, but for motion analysis the single and double pendulums with moving masses were also employed. For robot motion synthesis we need to know the relation between the posture and the postural stability. We have shown that the positions of mass centres of the pendulum segments (which match the human body point masses) are crucial for postural stabilization. The Zero-Moment Point criterion was applied for the dynamic case. The static analysis demonstrates that there are some common features of the postures. The dynamic analysis indicated that both pendulums are good models of human body motion, and are useful for humanoid motion synthesis. In humanoids, it is easier to apply results represented by inverted pendulums than postural models represented by stick diagrams. This is because humanoids and humans do not obviously share the same mass distribution and sizes (proportions) of all body segments. Moreover our descriptions indicate where to locate the supporting leg/legs in single and double support, which in general, is missing in inverted pendulum models discussed in the literature. The paper’s aim is to deepen the knowledge about the adjustment of human postures for the purpose of robotics.

The article describes the structure and principles of operation of a drive system used in some low-fl oor trams. The system consists of electric motors, gear transmissions as well as hollow shaft s and four-linkage couplings causing the wheels to move. During the study, a dynamic model was built and the parameters needed to carry out a simulation were determined. NGT6 low-floor tram wagons operated by MPK S.A. Cracow were used as examples of existing vehicles. Due to the lack of available data, part of the work was devoted to determining mass moments of inertia of drive system components using an experimental method of torsional vibrations of a string. In subsequent chapters, a mathematical model was developed and a tram start-up simulation was performed based on specific parameters of the individual system components. Some of the results were presented in the form of graphs.

Opis:
This work has been performed to verify the existent knowledge on determination of the mass moment. For the experiment, a compound pendulum was used. The motivation to undertake these studies were experimental results indicating a big discrepancy in mass moments between the values coming from calculations using the definition formula and these obtained from the experiment. In relation to the axial moment the relative error equals 23.6%, whereas regarding the polar moment the error reached 56.4%. Considering the reason of that discrepancy we could find the existent theory not to be adequate. The theory is then considered in view of verifying first the mathematical pendulum and next the physical/ compound pendulum theory. The consideration has been focused on the description of accelerated motion cycle of both pendulums as it was enough to solve the problem. A source differential equation, which serves to solve any quantum phenomena, was used in the study. Then the course of creation of detailed characteristics of the phase of mathematical pendulum accelerated motion is presented as the basis to derive formula on the mass moment of a compound pendulum. At the end this new adequate theory was verified showing the relative error to be less than one per cent.

Opis:
This study presents analysis of errors of calculations for engine load during vehicle acceleration phase, resulting from some simplifications or errors in selection of mass moment of inertia. A varied impact of the assumed, on unknown basis, values of the mass moments of inertia on calculation error was shown. According to the author, more accurate results of calculations of coefficient of rotating masses delta can be obtained by means of equations which make use of mass moments of inertia for rotating masses in vehicle Is and I k rather than values of reduction ratios in gearbox, for which the calculated values of delta are inflated. This study presents an overview of methods for calculation of inertia mass in vehicles which impact on inertial resistance. Different opinions in references on rotational mass (engine with clutch mechanism and the road wheels) provided the author an impulse to verify them with respect to currently manufactured vehicles. In particular, profile of reduced mass moment of inertia of rotational masses in vehicle as a function of overall gear ratio, ranges of non-stationary engine working conditions from engine speed, characteristics of demand for engine torque needed for acceleration of rotational masses in the vehicle with acceleration of engine speed are shown in the paper.

Opis:
Content fluctuations of the oxygen isotope δ18O in the Devon Island ice core during the last 100 000 years are a measure of climate fluctuations in the Northern Hemisphere. The course of content of the oxygen isotope δ18O and the sums of solar radiation reaching the upper edge of the atmosphere are characterized by approximate minima and maxima (by positive correlation). This proves that, during the last hundred thousand years, climate fluctuations (cooling and warming) in the Northern Hemisphere were conditioned by long-term changes of the orbit and altitude of the Earth's axis. Climate fluctuation forecasts for the Northern Hemisphere were developed for the next 40 000 years on the basis of the established periods of change of the oxygen isotope δ18O and the known solar radiation periodicity. Climate changes in Europe during the last 25000 years were presented together with a forecast for 1000 years (according to organic substances in deposits and radiation) as well as climate changes in Europe in the period from -500 years BP to 2100 AD (according to δ18O and pine tree-rings). It showed that climate changes depended on the concentration of planet mass in relation to the ecliptic plane (from the gravitational impact of planets on the Sun). Concentration courses of planet mass in the Solar System and climate fluctuations in the Northern Hemisphere were compared. Of interest are examples of synchronic fluctuations, i.e. dispersal of planet mass in the Solar System, the widths of pine and spruce tree rings and air temperatures in Europe.
