Foresight. as modern planning tool. "Clean Sky" project will effect in creating new technologies, which usage in aviation will improve fast progress of technique. The paper indicates the newest technologies or technologies which will develop in about 25 years. Aircraft industry future technologies for Polish conditions have been discussed. List of perspective technologies for aviation and engineering industry has been described. These technologies may be developed in Poland to increase economy competitiveness. New revolutionary materials for aviation industry have been presented. Machine tool technologies, especially Computer Numerical Control (CNC), High Speed Machining (HSM) have emerged as effective mechanisms in the aerospace, automotive, and die and mould industries. These new technologies are attractive for competitive manufacturing because of their technical advantages, i.e. a significant reduction in lead-time, high product accuracy, and good surface finish. However, HSM not only stimulates advancements in cutting tools and materials, it also demands increasingly sophisticated CAD/CAM software, and powerful CNC controllers that require more supportive technologies. This paper describes the computational requirement and cutting parameters of HSM, look ahead programming and simulation.

Opis:
This paper presents the results of experimental research regarding the determination of the flow characteristics of the compressor of an automotive turbocharger with a plastic rotor disc. The disc was manufactured using the 3D printing technology called the multijet printing, which allows complex geometries to be printed with high precision. Currently, in addition to speeding up the manufacturing processes and reducing their costs, 3D printing technologies are increasingly seen as standard tools that can be used in the design and optimization of machine parts. This article is a continuation of research on the possibility of applying additively manufactured elements in turbomachines. The experimental research was carried out at high rotational speeds (up to 110 000 rpm), using the automotive turbocharger with two different compressor rotors (i.e. one aluminum and one polymer). The first chapters of the paper discuss the preparation stage of the research (i.e. the manufacture of the rotor, the test rig). Then, the experimental research and the flow characteristics are described. The results obtained for the two types of discs were compared with each other and the area of application of the additively manufactured rotor was determined. The rotor functioned properly in the range of tested operating parameters and the results obtained showed that the technology and material applied could be used in the optimization studies of the blade systems of high-speed fluid-flow machines.

Opis:
This paper presents the analysis of the effect of differential signal coupler positioning accuracy on its high frequency performance parameters for contact-less high speed chip-to-chip data transmission on PCB application. Our considerations are continuation of the previous works on differential signal coupler concept, design methodology and analysis for high speed data transmission monitoring. The theoretical analysis of possible coupler positioning innaccuracies is extended for representative design cases by simulations carried out using EM simulator. The results reported here confirm that the concept of contactless monitoring of high speed chip-to-chip data transmission in a pair of coupled microstrip lines is of practically usefulness without applying the expensive and precise positioning system.

Opis:
The article presents an experimental stand to assess the state of punch in the process of sheet blanking. Blanking trials were carried out on an eccentric press. During all the trials, there were recorded signals of acoustic emission (AE) that accompanied the process of blanking. For the recorded AE signals, the methodology of data preparation and analysis was presented. On that basis, the results of the assessment of the state of the punch were presented, and they employed five methods of visualization: Andrews curves, Principal Components Analysis, Linear Discriminant Analysis, a modified method of Stochastic Neighbor Embedding and Sammon Mapping. The aim of the work was to assess the possibility of using visualization methods to predict the condition of the tool on the basis of acoustic emission signals in processes carried out in extremely short times.
