Opis:: Od 2009 r. tworzony jest w Polsce nowy system zarządzania rozwojem, w którym szczególne znaczenie przypada planowaniu strategicznemu oraz programowaniu rozwoju. Kształtowanie polityki rozwoju określają dokumenty strategiczne nowej generacji, do których należą: Długookresowa Strategia Rozwoju Kraju Polska 2030. Trzecia fala nowoczesności (DSRK), Strategia Rozwoju Kraju 2020. Aktywne społeczeństwo, konkurencyjna gospodarka, sprawne państwo (SRK 2020) oraz dziewięć strategii rozwoju (tzw. strategie zintegrowane). Jedną z nich jest Strategia innowacyjności i efektywności gospodarki. Autorka stawia tezę, że nowy system zarządzania rozwojem w Polsce ma charakter hierarchiczny, a dokumenty strategiczne są spójne i powiązane ze sobą. Poza tym polityka rozwoju jest skoncentrowana terytorialnie oraz tematycznie. Celem artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie głównych dokumentów strategicznych w nowym systemie zarządzania rozwojem w Polsce ze zwróceniem szczególnej uwagi na obszary strategiczne oraz cele i priorytety rozwojowe. Nowy paradygmat zarządzania rozwojem w Polsce oznacza między innymi świadomą strategię realizacji celów przy wykorzystaniu funduszy unijnych oraz więcej kompetencji otrzymanych przez samorządy. Szczególnym elementem nowego systemu zarządzania rozwojem są strategie rozwoju regionów, powiatów oraz gmin.
Since 2009 the new management system of development has been in operation in Poland. Strategic planning and the programming of development are of special importance in this system. The article aims to characterise the main strategic documents in the new management system of development in Poland with a particular attention paid to the strategic areas and priorities of development. The author put forward the hypothesis indicating that a new management system of development seems to be hierarchical in nature and strategic documents are mutually coherent and interconnected. Moreover, a development policy has been designed as a regionally and thematically concentrated one.

Opis:: The article deals with the concept of sustainable development (SD) management and conditions to achieve SD of an industrial enterprise. The structure of sustainability management is presented. It is proved that organizational structure of management is the basis for assessing the effectiveness of the SD of an enterprise. It is shown that to assess the effectiveness of the management of SD of the enterprise, there should be indicators used characterizing the level of manageability and the growth level of the organizational management structure. It is shown that with the help of an indicator like the manageability level, it is possible to determine the stability boundaries of an enterprise.

Opis:: Axiological aspects of management in evolution of sustainable development The effectiveness of management is determined by axiological principles in each type of organization. Within this field a priority category is ethical value system. The shortages in ethics axiology influence on the pace of sustainable development implementation and pave trajectories in evolution of this problematic. This results also from the scale of scientific interest what was not a subject for in-depth bibliometric analysis till now. The aim of this paper is presentation of own research results on the sustainable development evolution featured by the axiological aspects of management in the bibliometric approach. For the research purposes there have been selected two principal for effective management value systems, i.e. ethical (which includes: liberty, freedom/dignity, responsibility, freedom of conscience, respect, tolerance, charity, right of dissidence, right of indifference, honesty) and system of basic values (which includes: life, health, survival, happiness, luck, confidence, well-being/wellbeing/life satisfaction).

Opis:: The consideration of institutional economics principles in the management process seems to be the condition of socio-economic development of a country/city in long time perspective. Since last 25 years in Poland it can observed the process of adopting the new institutional system. The system is composed of institutions, norms, principles and regulations influencing the market, social assistance or insurance system, providing public goods, external effects, information as well as affecting behaviour of individuals and entities. The aim of the paper is to present the assumptions of institutional economics in terms of relations between the institutional system and city development. The paper focuses on social, relation and culture determinants prejudging the differences in functioning of enterprises, countries, regions/cities and claims that economy is strongly dependent on institutional system.

Opis:: The object of the study is to monitor the economic development of territories. As a result, a detailed analysis revealed the absence of a single action algorithm for diagnosing the economic development of territories. As a result of the analysis of the terminological apparatus, the essence of monitoring the economic development of territories is clarified, by which is meant the process of measuring, fixing, evaluating, con-trolling, analyzing and forecasting key characteristics based on information technologies and intended for current and strategic goals of managing the country’s territory. The paper proposes a model for the formation of an information-analytical system for monitoring the economic development of territories, based on the use of IDEF0 functional modeling and includes a specific set of stages, each of which solves a set of tasks with an indication of mechanisms and tools. The practical implementation of a functional model for the formation of an information-analytical system for monitoring the economic development of territories will effectively organize the collection of information, objectively assess the dynamics of changes in the regions, and also forecast the development of economic processes in the country.

Opis:: The concept of sustainable development refers to efforts to improve in a harmonious way economic, social and environmental dimensions. One of the main aspects of the social dimension of sustainable development is public health. In the introduction the role of indicator systems to monitor the effectiveness of any policy, including sustainable development is recalled. Usually such systems contain a subset of the public health indicators. This is the case Eurostat and GUS databases. In the paper a qualitative analysis of such subset of indicators available through the Eurostat database is carried out. The life expectancy is the leading indicator with a variant of the healthy life years. Quoted is the rationale for excluding this variant from analyzes that compare different populations due to subjectivity of this option. Later in the article a lack of indicators to which a visible impact on the leading indicator could be attributed is concluded. Consequently, the subset of indicators under consideration can not be treated as a decision support tool. Thus, its meaning is limited to the information and comparison purposes.
