    Opis:
    The research subject in this article is the analysis of the logistics education offer in Poland, the main specialities offered by universities and the prospects for young logistics professionals. The author analyses the situation of state and private universities in the field of logistics education and shows that a significant change has occurred in the number of specialities (an increasing trend) and that state universities are still leading the way in that regard. Higher education reform has expanded its offer of supplementary master’s courses. Analysis of statistical data and the use of quantitative methods through the use of PAPI and CAWI techniques set the direction for further research. The article will aim at a more accurate analysis of logistics education in Poland by looking at the education offer including lyceum (high school), technical education and higher education as well as post-graduate studies and professional training. Verification of the above empirical research should take into account possible applications of logistics education per se.

    Wzrost znaczenia logistyki w procesach gospodarczych w ciągu ostatnich lat istotnie wpłynął na postrzeganie szeroko definiowanego systemu transportowego i jego sprawności jako elementu systemu logistycznego, z wykorzystaniem którego realizowane są procesy w łańcuchach dostaw czy też rozbudowywane są sieci logistyczne. Syntetyczną miarą efektywności logistycznej gospodarek stał się LPI — indeks wydajności logistycznej stworzony przez Bank Światowy. Ma on na celu między innymi wskazanie, jak branża TSL (transport–spedycja– –logistyka) wpływa na gospodarkę poszczególnych regionów, w tym jak silnie jest związana z rozwojem handlu i dywersyfikacją eksportu, i jak na rozwój regionalny wpływają umiędzynarodowione procesy logistyczne. Biorąc pod uwagę metodykę jego tworzenia oraz badaną grupę docelową, a także jego cykliczność i niezmienność danych wejściowych oraz możliwość porównań, należy wskazać, iż jest on odzwierciedleniem sytuacji i tendencji w sektorze TSL na świecie. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie możliwości wykorzystania potencjału logistycznego Polski (ocenianego na podstawie LPI), warunkowanego między innymi położeniem geograficznym, jako istotnego czynnika rozbudowy oraz lokalizowania inwestycji z zakresu infrastruktury logistycznej (liniowej i punktowej). Jednocześnie, analizując dane zawarte we wskaźniku, wskazano, w jaki sposób na przestrzeni lat zmieniała się pozycja Polski w kontekście rozwoju rynku TSL. Badania oparto na wartościach wskaźnika publikowanych w latach 2007–2018. W ramach rozważań dokonano interpretacji poszczególnych elementów wskaźnika, wykorzystując analizę komparatywną oraz wskazując rekomendacje i wnioski dotyczące znaczenia zmian wartości i pozycji w rankingu LPI dla Polski.
    The increase in the importance of logistics in economic processes in recent years has significantly influenced the perception of the broadly defined transport system and its efficiency as an element of the logistics system, based on which processes in supply chains are implemented or logistics networks are developed. A synthetic measure of the logistics efficiency of economies has become the LPI — Logistics Performance Index created by the World Bank. It aims, among other things, to indicate how the TSL industry (transport–shipping–logistics) influences the economy of individual regions, including how strongly it is connected with trade development and export diversification, and how internationalised logistics processes influence regional development. Taking into account the methodology of its creation and the surveyed target group, as well as its cyclicality and invariability of the input data and the possibility of comparisons, it should be pointed out that it reflects the situation and trends in the TSL sector worldwide and in individual economies. The aim of the paper is to indicate the logistic attractiveness of Poland, based on the LPI index, as an important factor of expansion and location of logistic infrastructure investments (linear and point) and to show how both the position of Poland and the value of individual components of the Polish index changed over the years and how it influenced the changes on the TSL market in Poland. The data is based on the values of the index from 2007 to 2018. The considerations are based on the interpretation of individual components of the index using comparative analysis, indicating recommendations and conclusions on the impact of changes in the ranking and LPI values for Poland.

Omówienie tego tematu będzie przedmiotem tego artykułu. Przedstawiony zostanie proces logistyczny na przykładzie logistyki w transporcie karetek pogotowia ratunkowego.
    The paper discusses the subject of logistics in ambulance transport based on the example of an ambulance service. When discussing this subject, it is worth noting that an interesting issue related to its functioning is that relating to its relationship with transport logistics regarding travel time to the patient. Discussing this topic will be the subject of this paper. A logistics process will be presented on the example of logistics in the transport of ambulances.

    The armed forces of Poland are one of the pillars of the security of the country. Currently, as a member of both NATO and the European Union, Poland might be required to engage soldiers in defending against military threats, or they may be involved in non-military activities for the benefit of the country and its allies. The primary role of the armed forces is to perform tasks to maintain security, but they also help in preventing situations which can be considered as dangerous both in a country and outside its territory, all in accordance with the strategy of the NorthAtlantic Pact. The development of civilization, technical progress, as well as the progressive globalization of the contemporary world necessitate the introduction of changes to match the scale and nature of threats. The aim of the article is to analyse the participation of Polish Armed Forces in NATO and in the European Union in crisis situations and to suggest improvements to this system in terms of the use of the armed forces. Each of the member states bears the responsibility for providing full logistics support for their armed forces, as well as for compatibility in both international and NATO-led operations.
    Siły zbrojne Polski to jeden z filarów bezpieczeństwa kraju. Obecnie Polska jako państwo członkowskie zarówno NATO, jak i Unii Europejskiej, może być zobowiązana do zaangażowania żołnierzy w obronie przeciwko zagrożeniom militarnym, do czego są powołani, a także mogą być pomocni w działaniach niemilitarnych dla dobra kraju i jego sojuszników. Głównym zadaniem sił zbrojnych jest utrzymanie bezpieczeństwa, ale również wsparcie w zapobieganiu sytuacjom, które mogą być uznane za niebezpieczne, zarówno w kraju, jak i poza jej terytorium, zgodnie ze strategią Paktu Północnoatlantyckiego. Rozwój cywilizacji, postęp techniczny, a także postępująca globalizacja współczesnego świata zmusza do dokonywania zmian dopasowanych do skali i charakteru zagrożeń. Celem artykułu jest analiza udziału Sił Zbrojnych RP w NATO oraz w całym systemie Unii Europejskiej w sytuacjach kryzysowych i próba poprawy tego systemu w zakresie wykorzystania sił zbrojnych i ich logistyki. Każde z państw członkowskich z zasady ponosi odpowiedzialność za zapewnienie pełnej logistyki dla swych sił zbrojnych, a także za kompatybilność podczas międzynarodowej działalności oraz podczas wspólnych operacji NATO.
