В статті проаналізовано особливос- ті формування системи збутової ло- гістики садівничих підприємств із залученням посередників в межах розгалуженої логістичної інфраструк- тури, обґрунтовано спільні проблеми і перешкоди щодо створення потуж- них ефективних агрологістичних сис- тем на рівні господарюючих суб’єктів. Розроблено алгоритм проектування мережі заготівельно-розподільчих цен- трів регіонального плодопродуктового підкомплексу. Проведено оцінювання соціально-економічних факторів роз- витку районів Вінницької області таздійснено їх ранжування з точки зору логістичної привабливості. Розробле- ний проект мережі заготівельно-роз- подільчих центрів пропонується ре- алізувати на інвестиційній основі із залученням бюджетного фінансуван- ня, банківського капіталу, страхових компаній, інших кредитних установ із обов’язковим дотриманням принци- пу пріоритету інтересів безпосередніх учасників плодопродуктової вертикалі – сільськогосподарських товаровироб- ників та переробних підприємств.
The peculiarities of the formation of the system of the distribution logistics of horticultural enterprises, involving intermediaries within an extensive logistics infrastructure, was analyzed in the article. The common problems and obstacles of creating powerful efficient agro logistics systems on the level of economic entities were proved. The algorithm of network design for procurement and distribution centers for food regional sub-complex was worked out. An assessment of socio- economic factors of districts of Vinnytsia region development and their ranking in terms of logistics attractiveness was made. The designed project of procurement and distribution centers is proposed to implement on the investment basis with the assistance of budget funding, bank capital, insurance companies and other lending institutions with the mandatory compliance of the principle of interests priority of direct participants of fruit – food vertical, that is agricultural producers and processing enterprises.

W artykule omówiono zagadnienie oceny rozwiązań w zakresie logistyki miejskiej w Polsce, z punktu widzenia mieszkańców i władz samorządowych. Przedstawione przez autorkę artykułu wyniki badań dowodzą, że sprawność funkcjonowania miejskiej sieci logistycznej w nie musi wiązać się wyłącznie z kosztownym rozwojem infrastrukturalnym. Optymalizacja działań logistycznych na obszarach zurbanizowanych powinna być prowadzona przede wszystkim w oparciu o zmiany organizacyjne systemu transportowego, przyzwyczajeń i wzorców zachowań jego użytkowników oraz zmiany funkcji wybranych przestrzeni miejskich. Takie podejście jest najbliższe poglądom wyrażanym przez mieszkańców polskich miast, ale stoi często w sprzeczności z interesami pozostałych interesariuszy systemu, w szczególności władz samorządowych. Autorka opisuje bariery w planowaniu i wdrażaniu nowoczesnych, miejskich rozwiązań logistycznych. Artykuł zawiera również wnioski i rekomendacje w zakresie logistyki miejskiej. Autorka podkreśla, że w Polsce nadal brakuje długoterminowych planów inwestycyjnych w zakresie przewozów towarowych. Podkreśla jednocześnie, że wszelkie zmiany w zakresie układów transportowych miast, czy szerzej rozumianej polityce mobilności wymagają szerokiej partycypacji społecznej na etapie konsultacji i projektowania usprawnień. Niezbędne jest również wsparcie organizacyjne i finansowe, wraz z tworzeniem systemu zachęt.
Dynamic growth of automotive indicator and increasing level of freight being carried in the Polish cities are causing serious transport problems. Migration to the cities is a trend observed still in Poland that is expected to continue. Bottlenecks, delivery obstacles, congestion, traffic jams and air pollutions require prompt organizational and technological intervention. The article starts a discussion about the condition of the urban logistics in Poland, comparing various models from the local government authorities point of view and inhabitants. The author outlines the barriers and obstacles in the planning and implementing of the modern urban logistical solutions. The majority of municipal and local government authorities, despite the declared enthusiasm for the smart city concept, prefer traditional infrastructure investments, instead of joint and interdisciplinary planning of the combined organizational and technological solutions tailored to the needs of a specific city. There is an urgent need to introduce regulations limiting freight traffic in the Polish cities, road tolls depending on emissivity, payloads, parking infrastructure. There should be rules planned determining time windows in the urban transport, organizing in-city consolidation centres, etc. The paper includes recommendations for creating Urban Vehicle Access Regulation Schemes for the Polish cities. The article includes also the findings and recommendation for the Polish cities in the field of urban logistics. The author emphasizes, however, that there is still a lack of long-term investment plans in the field of logistics and freight transport in so-called smart cities. The paper demonstrates that the efficiency of the functioning of Poland’s urban logistics network does not necessarily imply costintensive infrastructural development. The optimisation of logistics activities should be brought about in urbanised areas primarily based on the organisational changes in the transportation system, customs, habits and behavioural patterns of its users as well as the altered functions of selected. Such an approach is the closest to the views expressed by the inhabitants; however, it all too often proves contradictory to the interests of the other stakeholders of the system. Any changes to the city’s transport layouts or systems, or mobility policies (as a broader concept), call for a broad public contribution when it comes to consulting projects and designing the improvements. Organisational and financial support is likewise indispensable, along with the development of an incentives system. The author also pointed out a need to monitor comprehensively the solutions in the field of urban logistics and urban freight transport of the Polish cities using socio-economic analysis tools. The selected methods of evaluating the urban logistics solutions, incl. comparative best practices analysis, have been discussed.

The paper describes trends and developments in the Polish transport & logistics sector. It is a gap analyze of the changes occurred in the period 2007-2016. It includes changes observed in the Polish transport & logistics sector during the economic crisis and describes results of post-crisis phenomena. The authors also present the actual challenges in the transport & logistics and the forecast of future trends and changes. Sustainable transport development has long been active in EU policy, it is defined by various documents, defined and expressed in various guidelines, ways to achieve it. In practice, it turns out that it is not so easy, as evidenced by the functioning of transport systems of individual member states, regions, metropolitan areas or cities.

An industrial waste management system is a set of processes enabling space-time transformations along with quantity and quality changes aiming at the reduction of negative influence of the industry on the ecosystem. One of the ways of controlling the destructive impact of waste on the environment is recycling. There is no type of residue that cannot be reutilized having suitable technologies and financial resources. An important part of a company's development strategy is the profit and expenditure account. This article presents the overall costs generated within the waste management system of a full production cycle steel mill. The costs have been grouped by objects according to the criteria of main logistics processes realized within the waste management system.

City logistics and mass sporting events logistics are modern concepts using good practices to achieve established aims. Both issues are connected by the set of common features, which allow using the best practices modifying the processes of city management or mass event management. The aim of this article is to analyze city logistics from the angle of best practices possibilities – solutions applied by the organization of mass sporting events. The object of the study represents a system of city logistics and logistics system of sporting events, while used research methods were: the analyzes of literature, critical analysis of documents prepared by companies responsibilities for the preparation of events and own observations. Common points and examples of good practices of city logistics presented in table 1 and 2 confirm a hypothesis about a correlation between concepts. Using solutions which are commonly innovative in city management can significantly contribute to the facilitation of goods, persons and information flows and to decrease the negative impact of human activity on natural environmet.

The growth of demand for large sporting events caused that the process of organizing this type of events has become extremely complicated and toilsome. This is a result of rising public expectations with regard to participation in the mega events which are characterized by unpredictability, complication, and provides fans with a lot of emotions, sense of fulfillment, loyalty and satisfaction. Innovativeness and the using of logistics as a concept to optimize the processes associated with the gala are a key success factors according to sporting event which the author has analyzed and interpreted. The article contains an example of Euro 2012, as a large-scale sporting event that except economical benefits has promoted Poland as an attractive brand.

This article presents the types of laser devices and their use in logistics. Due to the wide range of products, the presentation of laser devices has been limited to show only the most popular in industry and innovation products, which support logistics processes in the logistics centers. Analyzing the use of laser devices, special attention was paid to the areas of application, which are a production and processes in the logistics center.

Background: The aim of this publication is to address the changes in retail trade, which have a direct influence on the development of e-commerce which in turn causes modifications to logistics chain management strategies and methods of flow control. Materials: The article has been written on the basis of an analysis of subject literature together with determining the influence of e-commerce to changes in logistics processes. The publications included in this study have been selected in order to present the subject of e-commerce development as well as evaluate changes in methods of flow control. The analysis has been prepared based on the author's experience and available reports and publications. Results: As a result of the conducted analysis, an assessment of the proficiency level of the changes in logistics processes on the local and international market as well as of the trends for these changes has been made. Conclusions: With the development of e-commerce, a new logistics chain management strategy began to appear, which covered both the process of handling the online and offline sales channel. Therefore, it can be concluded that properly adapted flow control methods will be the means for achieving the goal. Tasks will include: streamlining flow processes, improving the efficiency of logistic processes as well as adjusting them to market requirements.
Wstęp: Tematem publikacji jest opracowanie tematyki zmian zachodzących w handlu detalicznym wpływających bezpośrednio na rozwoju handlu internetowego co przekłada się na zamiany w strategii zarządzania łańcuchem logistycznym i metod sterowania przepływami. Materiały: Artykuł został opracowany na podstawie analizy literatury przedmiotu wraz z określeniem wpływu handlu internetowego na zmiany w procesach logistycznych. Publikacje ujęte w opracowaniu zostały wyselekcjonowane w celu przedstawienia tematyki rozwoju handlu internetowego oraz oceny zmian w metodach sterowania przepływami. Analiza została opracowana w oparciu o doświadczenie autora oraz dostępne raporty i publikacje. Wyniki: W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy dokonano oceny poziomu zaawansowania zmian zachodzących w procesach logistycznych na rynku lokalnym i międzynarodowym oraz trendy tych zmian. Wnioski: Z rozwojem handlu internetowego pojawiała się nowa strategia zarządzania łańcuchem logistycznym, obejmująca swym zasięgiem zarówno proces obsługi kanału sprzedaży online jak i offline. Wnioskować zatem można, że środkiem służącym do realizacji celu będą właściwie dostosowane metody sterowania przepływami do zadań których będzie należało: usprawnienie procesów przepływu, poprawa efektywności oraz podporządkowanie procesów logistycznych wymaganiom rynku.

This paper aimed to show that planner-led UCC solutions are untenable in the modern liberal economy. Our analysis suggests that the top down imposition of a Ur-ban Consolidation Centre (UCC) works only in clearly controlled domains. We have studied urban freight concepts and practice and it is our contention that most UCC initia-tives fail in a liberal economy where free choice and market economics apply. In under-pinning this contention we have compiled, analysed and categorised a set of the UCC schemes known to have operated, left evidence of their existence, and been captured by the research community. In this paper we present two case study examples that show that within the construction sector UCCs can be utilised successfully to create efficient and forward-thinking logistics operations. Whilst it might be true for the construction sector, we have not found evidence that it might be true for other sectors.

The innovativeness of logistics companies depends on the quality of management staff. Logistics is an area where innovation largely determines the competitiveness of the company and its position on the market. Managers can have a strong influence on the level of innovation, but the way they interact can vary. The paper presents the results of the study of 200 managers working in small and medium-sized enterprises from the Podlaskie Voivodeship responsible for logistics activities and their subordinates. The aim of the research was to assess the impact of SME sector managers working in the area of logistics on the innovation of the enterprise in the context of management style and their relations with subordinates. The research shows that managers characterized by a democratic style of management and having better relationships with subordinates have a greater impact on innovation in the area of logistics. Sharing your own knowledge with subordinates is the most frequently indicated method of influencing the company’s innovativeness by managers.
Innowacyjność przedsiębiorstw logistycznych zależy od jakości kadry kierowniczej. Logistyka jest tym obszarem, w którym innowacyjność decyduje w dużej mierze o konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstwa i jego pozycji na rynku. Kierownicy mogą mieć silny wpływ na poziom innowacyjności, jednak sposób oddziaływania może być różny. W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań 200 kierowników pracujących w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach z województwa podlaskiego odpowiadających za działania logistyczne oraz ich podwładnych. Celem badań była ocena wpływu kierowników sektora MSP pracujących w obszarze logistyki na innowacyjność przedsiębiorstwa w kontekście stylu kierowania i ich relacji z podwładnymi. Badania wskazują, że kierownicy charakteryzujący się demokratycznym stylem kierowania oraz mający lepsze relacje z podwładnymi mają większy wpływ na innowacyjność w obszarze logistyki. Dzielenie się własną wiedzą z podwładnymi jest najczęściej wskazywanym sposobem wpływania przez kierowników na innowacyjność przedsiębiorstwa.

The article presents in a cross-section the issues of natural gas logistics, high-lighting the issues and factors having the most significant impact on the technical security of natural gas supplies to end users. Economic conditions of a part of Poland's industrial and mining sector were presented, which is the broadly understood natural gas market, including its structure, dominating enterprises along with the characteristics of economic activity and the infrastructure necessary for an efficient and safe supply of natural gas.

Opis:
The role of railway network in the internal passenger and heavy traffic is continuously decreasing. Regarding the number of passengers, proportion of the railway out of the internal passenger transport was more than 20% less in 2000. The railway passenger transportation suffered a setback in shorter distances in the last decades. In case of railway transportation of goods both the carriage distance and the quantity of goods have decreased. Content of the load has changed, too. Comparing to the previous one, quantity of the transported building materials, metal waste, ores and coal etc. lessened. In contrast with it proportion of agricultural products, machines has increased. It is worth examining the changes in connection with the passenger and heavy traffic in the last few years not only in country level but in the level of several settlements, as well. In settlements’ life a transportation route of the infrastructural sphere plays an important role. In this essay it is aiming to examine the changes in railway traffic of town Mezohegyes, a settlement on the Southern part of the Hungarian Plain, between 1990 and 2006. Research work of this kind has been carried out about town Mezohegyes earlier.
Rola sieci kolejowej w wewnętrznym ruchu pasażerskim, nawet biorąc pod uwagę duży ruch uliczny ciągle maleje. Zależnie od liczby pasażerów proporcje ruchu kolejowego w stosunku do zewnętrznego transportu pasażerskiego były o 20% mniejsze niż w roku 2000. Kolejowy transport pasażerski cierpiał z powodu regresu popularności w ostatnich dekadach, szczególnie na krótkich dystansach. W przypadku kolejowego transportu towarów, zarówno odległości przewozów jak i ilości towarów zmalały. Zawartość ładunków także się zmieniła. W porównaniu do wcześniejszych typów ładunków ilość materiałów budowlanych, złomu, rud oraz węgla zmalała. Wzrosła natomiast ilość transportowanych tą drogą produktów rolnych oraz maszyn. Warto, więc przeanalizować zmiany w ruchu pasażerskim oraz w transporcie ciężkim w ostatnich latach nie tylko na poziomie krajowym, ale i na poziomie kilku obszarów zaludnionych. W funkcjonowaniu danego obszaru, sfera infrastruktury pełni ważną rolę. W niniejszej pracy celem jest analiza zmian ruchu kolejowego w mieście Mezohegves, miejscowości w południowej części Niziny Węgierskiej w latach od 1990 do 2006. Badania tego typu zostały przeprowadzone w odniesieniu do tego miasta już wcześniej.

Growing competition from the large enterprises, under conditions of European integration, and getting much more consciousness of customers referring to quality and service, requires improvement of logistics by small business. The important factor for such an improvement is integration logistics with marketing enabling creation and realization bigger utility for customers. The research demonstrates that possibility of achieving a good competitive position is strongly connected with good knowledge of suppliers and purchasers based on close contacts with them; adjusting marketing tools and using such of their attributes, which are especially helpful in small scale business activity and have less usefulness in large enterprises.
