    Rad predstavlja kritički prikaz u kojem se ispituje semantička analiza ponuđena u studiji Slobodana Novokmeta „Nazivi životinja u srpskom jeziku – semantička i lingvokulturološka analiza”. Monografiju je 2020. godine objavio Institut za srpski jezik Srpske akademije nauka i umetnosti u Beogradu. Iako primarno pripada oblasti leksikologije i leksikografije, ova monografija nudi interdisciplinarni pristup proučavanju naziva za životinje u srpskom jeziku, kombinujući metode tradicionalne lingvistike, tj. komponencijalnu analizu, i sve popularniji lingvokulturološki pristup. Fokus studije je na istraživanju mehanizama semantičkog transfera u okviru značenja leksema kojima se denotiraju životinje, kao što su metafora i metonimija. Autor se bavi i preispitivanjem leksikografskih definicija i predlaže načine njihovog dopunjavanja.
    The paper is a review which examines the semantic analysis offered in Slobodan Novokmet’s study entitled “Animal Names in Serbian language – Semantic and Linguo-Cultural analysis.” The monograph was published in 2020 by the Institute for the Serbian Language at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade. Although lexicological and lexicographic in its nature, this monograph offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of animal names in the Serbian language, combining methods of traditional linguistics, i. e. componentional analysis, and the increasingly popular linguocultural approach. The focus of the study is to research the mechanisms of semantic transfer within the meaning of lexems denoting animals, such as metaphor and methonymy. The monograph also deals with the lexicography definitions, offering the ways of their improvement.

    When teaching Russian as a foreign language, it is essential to refer to linguoculturologic alaspects of words which refer to culture. The presented description of BEAR - a linguoculturologicalobject - in syntactic and pragmatic perspective is an example of such a word. The description helped Polish students to get acquainted with linguistic signs relating to the object which had been unknown to them before. The description was based on a selection of texts with numerous cultural references, such as fables, riddles, proverbs, phraseological expressions, poems, and prosaic literarytexts. Classes conducted in line with the methodology of applied linguoculturology were aimedat developing students’ linguoculturological competence.

    Each language is anthropocentric and constitutes a link between man and culture verbalizing theoretical, practical and cultural knowledge acquired by man when it comes to conceptualizing the world. In the context of an anthropocentric paradigm of science, cultural linguistics is particularly important, since it investigates the problem of the relationship and interaction between language and culture. The reflection of the world (of objective reality) in human consciousness, in linguistics is represented by the relations between a conceptual and a linguistic vision of the world. The color turns out to be a universal category, although in each linguistic community retains its own specificity. Th e number of “basic” colors in each culture may be different. Th ese “basic” colors form a picture of the world “in color”, which is part of the linguistic image of the world. This worldview “in different colors” is based on the characteristics of color perception in a particular culture, reflecting at the same time individual conceptualization of each of the members of a linguistic community. In the article a lingoculturological analysis of Spanish phraseological units containing the color semantic element is presented. These “colorful units” are a significant phenomenon of Spanish culture reflected in the language and present particular nuances of the idiosyncrasies of Spain.

    This article is an attempt at presenting the concept of cultural codes, which was earlier discussed in works of Russian and Ukrainian scholars in field of ethnolinguistics and linguoculturological aspects. The key linguoculturological terms, such as cultural code and ethnocode, were explained. The author of this article analysed already existing in Ukrainian and Russian linguistics theoretical basics of defining, isolating and classifying cultural codes.
    W artykule podjęto próbę zaprezentowania koncepcji kodów kultury rozwiniętej w pracach rosyjskich i ukraińskich lingwistów. Należytą uwagę zwrócono na wyjaśnienie kluczowych pojęć lingwokulturologii, a mianowicie kod kultury, etnokod kultury. Poddano analizie istniejące teoretyczne podstawy definiowania, wyodrębniania oraz klasyfikacji kodów kultury znane w językoznawstwie ukraińskim i rosyjskim.

    Celem artykułu jest dokładniejsza analiza zachodzącej na zajęciach intensywnej komunikacji międzykulturowej, opierającej się zarówno na informacji językowej zawartej w systemie języka ojczystego każdego studenta (lub na interferencji z dominującego języka obcego), jak i z płaszczyzny kulturowej, tj. z przekładania wzorców kultury wyjściowej. Umiejętności posługiwania się nowym kodem językowym wiążą się z kompetencjami społeczno-językowymi, bez których nie można właściwie wykorzystać znajomości języka obcego w celu produkcji prawidłowych komunikatów i wyrażeń w różnych kontekstach społeczno-językowych. Wyraźna świadomość własnej kultury i tożsamości kulturowej jest kluczem do rozwoju teorii komunikacji międzykulturowej. Osoba komunikująca się w języku innym niż swój ojczysty, zmienia nie tylko system lingwistyczny, ale ramy odniesień kulturowych (a także osobowość), co potwierdza konieczność rozumienia innej kultury w celu osiągnięcia pełnej kompetencji komunikacyjnej w języku obcym. W artykule przypomniano wybrane zagadnienia z zakresu interkulturowości (i ich realizację w języku: m.in. brak ekwiwalencji pragmatycznej) oraz praktyczne przykłady trudności pojawiających się na zajęciach dydaktycznych w grupie wielokulturowej. Zrozumienie zachodzących na zajęciach procesów jest możliwe przy pomocy narzędzi stosowanych w lingwokulturologii i konfrontacji językowej.
    The aim of the article is a more detailed analysis of the intense intercultural communication during foreign language classes. This type of communication is based both on the information contained in the mother tongue language system of each student as well on the cultural level, ie. when cultural patterns are translated. The ability to use a new language code are associated with socio-linguistic competence, without which one cannot really use a foreign language in order to produce correct messages and expressions in different socio-linguistic contexts. A clear awareness of own culture and cultural identity is the key to develop the theory of intercultural communication. A person communicating in a language other than his/her mother tongue, changes not only the linguistic system, but a whole framework for cultural references (as well as the personality), which confirms the need to understand another culture in order to achieve full communicative competence in a foreign language. In the article selected issues of interculturalism are reminded (and their implementation, eg. the lack of pragmatic equivalence) and practical examples of difficulties which may arise in the classroom while teaching in a multicultural group are given. Understanding the processes taking place in the classroom is possible with the help of the tools used in lincuoculturology and during linguistic comparison.

    This paper describes the characteristic lexicon in the Devic’ katastichos, the monastery book of the monastery Devic in the vicinity of the town of Srbica in Kosovo and Metohija. In this book, the priests wrote down the gifts that the believers gave them from 1762 to 1789. Based on the name of the believers, the names of the places from which they originated, their professions, based on the list of gifts to the monastery, the measurements determining the weight, volume or length of gifts, a clear picture can be formed about the dynamic life of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija during the 18th century, as well as the active life of Devic Monastery, to which the gifts were donated by the Orthodox Serbs, and also by the Albanians. According to the 2011 census, there are no more Serbs in Srbica, and the Monastery Devic was damaged in both World Wars and was burned down in 1999 and 2004. The work is dedicated to the celebration of eight centuries of autocephality of Serbian Orthodox Church (1219–2019), and consequently the autonomy the Serbian education, science, art and the entire spiritual life of Serbs, whose origins are related specifi cally to Kosovo and Metohija.

    This paper presents the analysis of Russian animalistic phraseological units included in the Russian-Croatian Phraseological Dictionary (2019). In our research we focused on etalons that have the simile structure. Anthropomorphism and zoomorphism are two antipodes of the same reality within the language picture of the world – in our case it is the Russian language picture of the world. We believed that the anthropocentric perspective of the animal world was stronger than the ecocentric perspective, and that it has influenced the Russian language correspondingly, which has led us to the conclusion that there must be more Russian anthropomorphic similes than zoomomorphic similes. But the analysis that we have performed within the frames of the Russian-Croatian Phraseological Dictionary has not proven our hypothesis. The findings of this study suggest that there is an equal number of anthropomorphic and zoomorphic similes within the analyzed phraseological material.

    Opis:
    The main purpose of the article is to analyse the phenomenon of axiologization of a musical work and the process of creation and perception of music. The aim of the study is to identify the correlation between the cognitive functions of music and the way in which its values are conveyed by the composer, the work itself, the performer/musicologist and the listener. The object of the research was the evaluative components of the interaction between participants in the scheme given above and responses to the theme of music, contained in the scientific monograph of the musicologist Heinrich Neuhaus Тhe Art of Piano Playing. The relevance of the study manifested the need for expand the knowledge base about the cognitive processes of music perception. The analysis revealed that the axiological component is present at every stage of the perception of a musical work and is associated with the cognitive sphere of human activity. The concept of performing a musical work requires the use of special means of expression, including metaphors, comparisons and associations. Moreover, social and philosophical functions of axiologization of music have been revealed in the article. They were investigated from an anthropocentric perspective in the terms of value interaction between musical art and human world and vice versa.

    This paper represents the continuation of the research started within the article Linguo-cultural qualifiers in the Dictionary of Serbian language, where we have marked as linguo-cultural qualifiers the following dictionary markers: etn. (ethnology, ethnography), prazn. (superstition), mit. (mythology, mythological), ist. (history, historical), rlg. (religion, religious), teol. (theology, theological), crkv. (church), pravosl. (Orthodoxy, orthodox) and kat. (Catholic). On this occasion, we have chosen those lexemes which are marked by the qualifier etn. (ethnology, ethnography) in the Dictionary of Serbian language (2011), i.e. those which refer to Serbian folk life and customs, or to be more precise – names of holidays, customs, rituals, parts of folk clothes, popular games and similar, as most of these lexemes represent the so-called non-equivalent lexis and are usually problematic in terms of translating or learning Serbian as a foreign language, but at the same time enable learning about Serbian culture and tradition.
    Niniejsze opracowanie stanowi kontynuację badań, które zostały zapoczątkowane artykułem Kwalifikatory lingwokulturologiczne w Słowniku języka serbskiego. Kwalifikatorami lingwokulturologicznymi nazwaliśmy skróty słownikowe etn. (etnologia, etnografia), prazn. (przesąd), mit. (mitologia, mitologiczny), ist. (historia, historyczny), rlg. (religia, religijny), teol. (teologia, teologiczny), crkv. (kościół, kościelny), pravosl. (prawosławie, prawosławny) i kat. (katolicki). Przy tej okazji postanowiliśmy wyróżnić i zaprezentować leksemy, oznaczone w Słowniku języka serbskiego (2011) kwalifikatorem etn. (etnologia, etnografia), czyli te, które związane są z życiem i obyczajami narodowymi Serbów, a dokładniej – nazwy świąt narodowych, zwyczajów, obrzędów, części stroju narodowego, tańców narodowych i inne. Większość tych leksemów stanowi bowiem tak zwane słownictwo nieekwiwalentne i często stwarza problemy podczas tłumaczenia lub nauki języka serbskiego jako obcego, ale jednocześnie umożliwia zapoznanie się z serbską kulturą i tradycjami narodu serbskiego.

    Opis:
    В статье с лингвокультурологических позиций рассматриваются антропоморфные социально ориентированные метафоры атмосферных явлений русской и литовской поэзии XX в., с целью установить сходства и различия историко-культурно обусловленного содержания данных метафор. Основное внимание уделяется метафорам ветра, выявленным на обширном материале. Метафоры другого явления – дождя – оказались представленными только в русской поэзии, что свидетельствует об избирательности национальных метафорических поэтических систем. С лингвокультурологической точки зрения примечательным является распределение по профессиональным сферам, а также разную значимость сходных метафор в двух поэтических языках. Метафоры «социального положения», имеющие своим основанием одни и те же качества исходной для метафоры сферы, отражают специфические национальные особенности социально-культурной ситуации, их связь с культурной традицией, окрашивая сходные метафоры диаметрально противоположным образом.
    Artykuł analizuje zorientowane społecznie metafory zjawisk atmosferycznych w poezji litewskiej i rosyjskiej XX wieku z perspektywy językowo-kulturologicznej w celu ustalenia podobieństw i różnic tych metafor we wskazanym zakresie. Liczne metafory wiatru są przedmiotem szczególnej uwagi w obu językach, podczas gdy metafory innego zjawiska, jakim jest deszcz, prezentowane są jedynie w poezji rosyjskiej. Wskazuje to na wybiórczość poetyckich metafor i systemów poetyckich. Z językowo-kulturowego punktu widzenia na uwagę zasługuje zróżnicowanie metafor według sfer zawodowych, a także odmienne znaczenie podobnych metafor w obu językach poetyckich. Metafory odnoszące się do statusu społecznego, których podstawą są te same cechy sfery inicjalnej, odzwierciedlają specyficzne cechy językowe sytuacji społeczno-kulturowej i ich związek z tradycją kulturową, co sprawia, że podobne metafory są przeciwstawne w dwóch analizowanych językach.
    This article examines socially oriented metaphors of atmospheric phenomena in Lithuanian and Russian poetry of the 20th century from a linguoculturological perspective in order to establish linguoculturological similarities and differences of these metaphors. Numerous metaphors for wind receive special attention in both languages, while the metaphors of another phenomenon, that is rain, are presented only in Russian poetry. It indicates the selectivity of poetic metaphors and poetic systems. From a linguocultural perspective, the distribution by professional spheres, as well as different significance of similar metaphors in the two poetic languages, are noteworthy. The metaphors of ‘social status’, which have the same qualities of the sphere that is initial for metaphors as their basis, reflect specific language features of the socio-cultural situation and their connection with the cultural tradition, which makes similar metaphors diametrically opposite in two languages.
