    The article concerns the optimization of manual wheelchairs with a lever propelling system. Lever-driven manual wheelchairs are a promising wheelchair group, however they still need to be improved in order to compete successfully with classic manual push rim-driven wheelchairs. Also, despite all manual wheelchairs human work efficiency during propulsion plays an important role, there is not enough research carried out that would focus on this problem regarding lever-driven wheelchairs. The research, presented in this paper, according to the authors' intention, is to make this knowledge gap smaller. The article describes an analytical optimization method for adjusting important lever-drive system parameters - levers length and its axis of rotation position - to individual human anthropometry. The method is based on experimental data regarding maximum human push capabilities acquired in another study. The optimized parameters' values were determined after assessment of maximum human expendable energy during a single work phase (pushing the levers). As a result of this study authors determined optimal levers length and their axis of rotation position for a 50 percentile French male. The carried out research shows also, that the suboptimal area for positioning the levers axis of rotation is relatively wide.

    One of the strategic decisions of any organization is decision making about manufacturing strategy. Manufacturing strategy is a perspective distinguishing a company from other present companies in that industry and creates a kind of stability in decisions and gives a special direction to organizational activities. SIR (SUPERIORITY& INFERIORITY Ranking) method and their applications have attracted much attention from academics and practitioners. FSIR proves to be a very useful method for multiple criteria decision making in fuzzy environments, which has found substantial applications in recent years. This paper proposes a FSIR approach based methodology for TOPSIS, which using MILTENBURG Strategy Worksheet in order to analyzing of the status of strategy of the Gas Company. Then formulates the priorities of a fuzzy pair-wise comparison matrix as a linear programming and derives crisp priorities from fuzzy pair-wise comparison matrices Manufacturing levers (Alternatives) are examined and analyzed as the main elements of manufacturing strategy. Also, manufacturing outputs (Criteria are identified that are competitive priorities of production of any organization. Next, using a hybrid approach of FSIR and TOPSIS, alternatives (manufacturing levers) are ranked. So dealing with the selected manufacturing levers and promoting them, an organization makes customers satisfied with the least cost and time.

    Opis:
    Product Lifecycle Management remains a strategy that aims to strengthen the capabilities and competitive advantages of the company. Its implementation and its adoption depend on the problems that are brought back to be solved by this tool as well as its acceptance by the companies that will implement it. Hence, we like to introduce this approach within the cottage industry to improve its competitiveness. For this, we are going to present this article as being the first step towards the introduction of this strategy within the craft sector. So, we aim to investigate the problems faced by the craft sector, the levers favoring the establishment of this kind of approach and to analyse the independence between the problems investigated, the nature of the companies interviewed and their sector of activity. Data was gathered from surveys of 132 craft industries the primary data analysis was performed using excel and SPSS techniques and chi square test. The results affirm that the management and communication problems, as well as problems related to the raw material waste, are the most dominant in the sector. Moreover, our study shows that the problems faced by the sector are independent towards the nature of the company and the sector of activity.

    Development of the lever-driven wheelchairs by different authors resulted in creating various lever-human work conditions in which disabled people propel their wheelchairs. This fact implies varying efficiency of human’s work during lever wheelchair propulsion. In order to assess which of the world-wide proposed lever propulsion systems is the most efficient from the humans’ work point of view a proper simulator was designed. Here described test stand offers the possibility to perform various ergonomic tests, it can also become a training station for the lever wheelchair users. Since the main differences in world known lever propelling system designs concern the lever length and levers axis of rotation position on the wheelchair, the wide regulation of these two parameters, was a decisive factor in designing the mechatronic simulator.
    Rozwijanie wózków inwalidzkich napędzanych dźwigniami przez różnych autorów spowodowało tworzenie różnych warunków pracy dźwigni i człowieka, w których osoby niepełnosprawne napędzają swoje wózki inwalidzkie. Fakt ten oznacza zmienną wydajność pracy człowieka na wózku inwalidzkim podczas napędzania dźwigniami. W celu oceny, które z proponowanych światowych systemów napędu dźwigniowego jest najbardziej efektywny z punktu widzenia pracy ludzkiej skonstruowano właściwy symulator. Opisane tutaj stanowisko badawcze oferuje możliwość wykonywania różnych testów ergonomicznych, może też stać się stacją szkolenie dla użytkowników wózków dźwigniowych. Ponieważ główne różnice w znanym światowym projekcie systemu napędzanego dźwigniami dotyczą długości dźwigni i pozycji osi rotacji dźwigni na wózku, szeroka regulacja tych dwóch parametrów, była decydującym czynnikiem w projektowaniu mechatronicznego symulatora.

    W opracowaniu scharakteryzowano przesłanki wyróżniania i definicję inteligencji generacyjnej, starając się przy tym pokazać jej relacje do innych rodzajów inteligencji. Przedstawiono wyniki przeprowadzonych w 2016 r. badań empirycznych na temat stereotypizacji jako bariery budowania inteligencji generacyjnej. Objaśniono, dlaczego inteligencję generacyjną można traktować jako behawioralną dźwignię wartości organizacji XXI w. Zidentyfikowano ponadto możliwy sposób wyceny tej zmiennej w ramach diagnozy wartości kapitału ludzkiego na poziomie indywiduum, zespołu oraz całej organizacji.
    The study presents the premises of determining and the definition of generational intelligence, while making an attempt to indicate its relation to other types of intelligence. It gives the results of empirical research conducted in 2016 concerning stereotypisation as a barrier for using generational intelligence. It explains why generational intelligence may be treated like a behavioural lever of the 21st century organisation value. It also identifies a possible way of valuating the variable as part of a diagnosis of human capital value on the level of an individual, team or the whole organisation.
