Opis:: First, a fuzzy system based on if-then rules and with parametric consequences is recalled. Then, it is shown that the global and local ε-insensitive learning of the above fuzzy system may be presented as a combination of both an ε-insensitive gradient method and solving a system of linear inequalities. Examples are given of using the introduced method to design fuzzy models of real-life data. Simulation results show an improvement in the generalization ability of a fuzzy system trained by the new method compared with the traditional and other ε-insensitive learning methods.

Opis:: The article presents our research on applications of fuzzy logic to reduce air pollution by DeNOx filters. The research aim is to manage data on Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) process responsible for reducing the emission of nitrogen oxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2). Dedicated traditional Fuzzy Logic Systems (FLS) and Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Systems (T2FLS) are proposed with the use of new methods for learning fuzzy rules and with new types of fuzzy implications (the so-called ”engineering implications”). The obtained results are consistent with the results provided by experts. The main advantage of this paper is that type-2 fuzzy logic systems with ”engineering implications” and new methods of learning fuzzy rules give results closer to expert expectations than those based on traditional fuzzy logic systems. According to the literature review, no T2FLS were applied to manage DeNOx filter prior to the research presented here.

Opis:: Nowadays, information control systems based on databases develop dynamically worldwide. These systems are extensively implemented into dispatching control systems for railways, intrusion detection systems for computer security and other domains centered on big data analysis. Here, one of the main tasks is the detection and prediction of temporal anomalies, which could be a signal leading to significant (and often critical) actionable information. This paper proposes the new anomaly prevent detection technique, which allows for determining the predictive temporal structures. Presented approach is based on a hybridization of stochastic Markov reward model by using fuzzy production rules, which allow to correct Markov information based on expert knowledge about the process dynamics as well as Markov’s intuition about the probable anomaly occurring. The paper provides experiments showing the efficacy of detection and prediction. In addition, the analogy between new framework and temporal-difference learning for sequence anomaly detection is graphically illustrated.

Opis:: Opisano miniaturowy robot mobilny Khepera. Zaprezentowano układ nawigacyjny realizujący zadanie omijania przeszkód w oparciu o regulator rozmyty Takagi - Sugeno. Zdefiniowano współczynnik wiarygodności reguł otrzymanych w wyniku uczenia. Zaprezentowano wyniki sterowania robotem mobilnym Khepera.
The Khepera miniature robot is described. The fuzzy control system to obstacle avoidance is proposed. The Takagi - Sugeno system with rules obtained in learning process was used. A credibility factor of learned rules is proposed. The experiment result is presented.
