The article attempts to assess the state and directions of development of tourist services in the area of the Szczecin Landscape Park Puszcza Bukowa (SLP PB) and the directions of their development. The article presents the preliminary results of surveys conducted in 2019 using the PAPI method in the SLP PB area as part of the international REGE project. The survey involved 311 respondents visiting the SLP PB area. The main motivation for the visit (86%) of the respondents in SLP PB is leisure and recreation, and visitors spend time primarily on walking (49%) and cycling (25%). The vast majority of respondents (79%) are aware that the area they are in is protected. At the same time, only 56% of all respondents correctly defined the form of protection of the studied area as a landscape park, which indicates the need for further educational activities. Although the spontaneous associations of the respondents focused on the natural values of this area, the questions about the advantages and disadvantages of the response area concerned primarily tourist infrastructure, services provided or lack thereof. The respondents pointed primarily to service deficits in the area under study in the scope of: guided tours (23%), events (20%) and lack of tourist information points (15%).

This research consisted of a physico-chemical evaluation of the streams and wastewaters within Krakow Valleys Landscape Parkin the Kluczwody, Bolechowicka, Będkowska and Kobylańska valleys. The following set of parameters were determined in the samples: pH, Eh, conductivity, oxygen content, concentration of metals' cations and selected anions. The results revealed that the wastewaters discharged as well as the streams that feed into the Rudawa river are mainly polluted with nitrates. Additionally, the examined wastewaters contained a high concentration of phosphate exceeding class II purity maximum permissible values.

The present state and characteristics of the segetal flora of the Mazowiecki Landscape Park and its buffer zone are described. Flora of the agrocenoses of the Park and its buffer zone is rich and includes 221 species. A _large differentiation of habitats, A wide contact zone with natural communities and traditional methods of cultivation affect its biodiversity. Rare species constitute more than half of the total species recorded in the agrocenoses of the Park and its buffer zone. In total, 25 of them are included in various categories of threat (Zarzycki, Wojewoda, Heinrich 1992). Among the most endangered are such plants, as, Helichrisum arenarium, Aphanes arvensis, Melandrium noctiflorum, Bromus secalinus, Agrostemma githago, Lathytus tuberosus, Kickxia elatine, Centunculus minimus, Hypericum humifusum, Peplis portula, Centaurium pulchellum, Radiola linoides and Myosurus minimus. Apophytes (142 species) prevail over anthropophytes (76 species) in the studied flora. Species of meadow and waterside communities (93 species) predominate among apophytes, whereas in the group of anthropophytes, archaeophytes (59 species) are the most numerous. Analysis of persistence and biological types showed domination of short-lived species over perennials and therophytes over other life forms...

Problem of protection of cultural heritage and looking for the new identity of landscape in Urban zone and particular - in suburban areas, which are under the format protection as, for example: the landscape parks or nature and landscape reservesis extremely actual in region of Jurrasic Landscape Parks north and west from city of Cracow and its fringe zone. The rules of sustainable development causes to take care of harmony and beauty of existing landscape from one hand, from another one - the pressure of private and public developers and their investments on the background of so cal led "spatial planning" appear sometimes as chaotic and disharmonious shape of space. The most popular are the telecommunications satellite towers antennas, which are mostly as dominants or subdominants in local landscape, the extraordinary, contemporary residences, the owners of which used to locate them in "ecological niches", tourist and agricultural centers and, of course - the highways. In actual legislation - one of most important and common way of making the landscape architectonic guidelines are the expert studies and analysis, which are elaborated in accordance to rules of local management plans on so called "plans of protection" of landscape parka, national parks or nature reserves, arrangements of which are obligatory as the guidelines for local plans or administrative proceeding and pragmatic. The contribution deals with some examples of such studies and expert works and with pragmatic and theoretic conclusions for solution in the light of contemporary landscape management.

The delimitation of landscape units can be helpful in the preparation of studies related to landscape protection and landscaping. The aim of this article is to propose the modification of the method of local landscape delimitation developed for the landscape audit for the needs of protected areas. The comparison of two methods of delimitation indicates that the same area can be assigned to different landscape types and subtypes. The proposed modification of the method of landscape unit delimitation allows a more detailed reflection of the landscape and its links to the administrative boundaries of administrative communities.

The park at Kotowo was established in the early 20th century. It is 6.7 ha, with 80 species and cultivars trees and shrubs. Especially noteworthy are common bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) 255 cm circumference, many trees of common horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), common ash (Fraxinus excelsior), saucer magnolia (Magnolia ×soulangiana), English oak (Quercus robur), little leaf linden form betulaefolia (Tilia cordata f. betulaefolia), big leaf linden subsp. cordifolia (Tilia platyphyllos subsp. cordifolia) and many another trees and shrubs.

The objective of this study is the assessment of the promotion of tourist and recreational traffic in Kozłowiecki Landscape Park by examining the intensity and preferences as well as social structure of the participants. The research was conducted using the methods of observation and diagnostic survey, including the application of the questionnaire and interview techniques, as well as the technique of documentation analysis. The research was conducted in 2015. On the foundation of the analysis conducted on the research outcome, it was found that in the studied park mainly the local recreational activity is developing. The promotion of the attractive qualities of this area in the provincial capital city, located 13 kilometres away, is poor although it actually exists. It was also found that the tourism-oriented development of the area surrounding the park is low, yet it was noted that the services provided by the nearby Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka are very well promoted – unfortunately only by one-day visitors. A proposal was put forward to join the forces of the local institutions and communities and develop an offer of a well-designed, comprehensive tourism product, which will also be well promoted.

Landscape parks were created to protect natural, cultural and landscape resources. Many resources very often contribute to the intensive touristic development of these areas. The landscape of Drawski Park was created by the carving activity of a glacier. There are many lakes and rivers in the studied area, which contributed to the development of villages. One of the most famous rivers in this area is the Drawa river. The Drawa river and numerous lakes created convenient conditions for active leisure. Tourist development could utilize the resources of cultural and natural heritage based on the principles of sustainable development. The aim of this paper is to estimate the transformation of chosen villages situated in Drawski Landscape Park and establish directions of further development, including genius loci.

12 stycznia 1976 roku władze nowo utworzonego województwa suwalskiego podjęły uchwałę o powołaniu Suwalskiego Parku Krajobrazowego. Interesujące jest, że park krajobrazowy, jako forma ochrony przyrody, nie funkcjonował w ówczesnym prawodawstwie. Dopiero ustawa o ochronie przyrody z 1991 roku usankcjonowała tę formę. Podstawową przyczyną stan prawnego, który wyprzedzał zapisy ustawowe, była niewątpliwie determinacja organizacji i służb ochrony przyrody, dążących do ochrony jednego z najbardziej unikatowych zakątków Polski. Pierwsze wnioski o ochronę fragmentu północnej Suwalszczyzny pojawiły się pod koniec lat pięćdziesiątych XX wieku niemal równolegle z rozpoczęciem badań geologicznych bogatych złóż rud tytanomagnetytowych masywu suwalskiego. Poniższy materiał jest próbą odtworzenia historii tworzenia pierwszego parku krajobrazowego w Polsce na tle prac planistycznych okręgu górniczego „Krzemionka I".
On January 12,h 1976, the administration of newly formed Suwałki Voivodeship adopted a resolution on creating Suwalski Landscape Park. It’s worth to mention a landscape park as a from of wildlife protection didn't exist in law those days. It was sanctioned in Nature Conservation Act later in!991. Motivation for local laws exceeding formal sanctioning w determination of organizations and wildlife conservation officials to protect one of the most unique regions in Poland. First initiatives to protect part of Northern Suwałki Region came up in łate fifties of XXth century, about the same ti when geological examination of suwalski massif's rich titano-magnetite ores was initiated. The aim of this work is reconstruction of how the first landscape park in Poland has been estabilished alongside flourishing plans to create a mining region „Krzemionka 1".

In the article attention has been paid to the identity of a place understood as sentimental attachment of the inhabitants to their dwelling place, the sense of bonds and responsibility for organization, maintenance and utilization of the place. Every place has its own distinct, specific character, and is exceptional for those users who feel good there because they create the place together and are responsible for it. Attention has also been paid to transformation of spatial management and landscape, which can bring about the loss of the identity of the place, shaped throughout decades. The valuable components of the extremely precious landscape of the Barycz valley have been pointed out, and directives of shaping new building as well as modernization of the already existing one have been formulated. The research area was constituted by localities situated within the range of "Dolina Baryczy" Landscape Park.

The romantic landscape park was established in 1824 by order of one of the best-known aristocrats at the time, Princess Dorothea Talleyrand Perigold, Dutchess of Dino. The park is an example of amenity horticulture of artistic value that has survived to this day. The creator of the park was the talented landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné. In its current state, the park differs significantly from the image on lithographs of the past. Upon carrying out field investigations and comparative studies, it was established that the maintained stand of tress holds high compositional value. The conclusions of the article define the current threats to the longevity of the park as well as highlighting the plan of revalorization works
Romantyczny park krajobrazowy założony w 1842 r. na zlecenie jednej z najbardziej znanych arystokratek swoich czasów księżnej Doroty Talleyrand Perigord, księżnej Dino. Park jest przykładem zabytku sztuki ogrodowej o wartościach artystycznych, które przetrwały do naszych czasów. Twórcą parku był uzdolniony architekt krajobrazu Piotr Józef Lenne. Park w swoim obecnym stanie znacznie odbiega od wizerunku na dawnych litografiach. Po przeprowadzeniu badań terenowych i porównawczych osiągnięto przekonanie o dużej wartości kompozycyjnej zachowanego drzewostanu. We wnioskach artykułu zdefiniowano współczesne zagrożenia dla trwałości parku oraz zakreślono plan prac rewaloryzacyjnych.

Due to natural and anthropogenic values, landscape parks and the surrounding protected areas are very interesting tourist attractions. This paper presents a characteristic of tourist values and attractions in landscape parks, opportunities for tourist land development that meets the principles of sustainable development. The focus was on wind farms considered as renewable energy source, often located near landscape parks. Therefore, the attempt was made to answer the question: whether wind farms reduce or reinforce tourist attractiveness and values of landscape parks? The paper was based on the analysis of scientific literature and information collected from the Internet.
