Opis:
A runway excursion is a runway safety issue in which an aircraft exits the runway improperly. Therefore, we believe it is necessary to conduct a data investigation of commercial airplanes landing at the airport in order to provide criticism, learning, and social control to airlines and air service policymakers in Indonesia so that they can become involved in protecting public transportation users, particularly those using air transportation. This study focuses on the procedural safety of commercial airplanes landing on the runway at airports in Indonesia. The data utilized for landing analysis is historical ADS-B data collected and acquired from the Flightradar24 website in 2019. The approach utilized in this study is exploratory data analysis (EDA), in which we explored the dataset to find trusted data (128 tier-1 data points). The results of this study showed that the aircraft that was the object of research was unlikely to land at the Touch Down Zone (TDZ), while the rest showed that its landing was highly likely outside the TDZ.

Opis:
This article analyzes the principles and organization of the operation of the military runways used by Polish and Allied aircrafts during missions in Iraq. The main goal of the article is to describe the organization and method of air traffic management by the Polish air traffic controllers (ATC). It depicts the method of planning and preparing aviation operations, the principles of air traffic organization, which were the responsibility of the Polish controllers, and the rules for the traffic above the airstrip. Among the particular problems that are discussed, there are the rules of airspace segmentation, the introduced solutions for air traffic control, and the use of airport infrastructure. The experiences discussed include valuable information regarding the process of securing air traffic that can be helpful in the organization of landing pad sand in preparation of both Polish and allied military contingent aviation personnel for future aboard operations. This paper presents the results of the research carried out with the ATC personnel performing tasks in Iraq.

Opis:
The aim of the article is to present the characteristics of airstrips used by Polish and allied aircraft during military operations in Chad and Afghanistan. The main goal is to examine their organisation and the management of air traffic by Polish ATC staff as well as to answer the question: How did Polish controllers plan the air operation? Answers to this question were sought through empirical and theoretical research. The theoretical methods were a study of literature (analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalisation, interpretation, analogy and comparison). The empirical method – “opinion poll” took the leading role, which used different techniques conducted in a tested environment to gather the data (interviews with experts and an ex post facto experiment). Consequently, the article looks at the method of planning and preparing air operations and the rules of air traffic organisation in the area of responsibility of Polish controllers. The selected issues discussed herein include the rules of airspace segmentation, the adopted air traffic control solutions and the landing zone infrastructure used. All in all, the experience discussed herein constitutes valuable information regarding air traffic security and may prove helpful in organising landing zones and preparing air personnel for future operations conducted by Polish and allied Military Contingents at home and abroad.
