    Opis:
    The icon of Mother of God “the Burning Bush” forms a theological and biblical synthesis of Mariology. Its idea is based on the excerpt from the Book of Exodus relating the vision in which Moses saw the Angel of God in the flame coming from the middle of a bush. The Old Testament types of announcements of Mary’s role, evoked in the icon, put into the categories of “the Burning Bush”, “the Tree of Jesse”, “Jacob’s Ladder”, “the Gate of Ezekiel” and others, are a visual form of the liturgical texts. The original icon of Mother of God “ the Burning Bush” contained many verbal inscriptions, explaining the role of Theotokos in accomplishment of the salutary will of God. The central composition with Mother of God and Emmanuel surrounded by multitudes of angels with various attributes – liturgical utensils, books, candles and others – evokes a solemn liturgy.

    Opis:
    The Old Testament presents prophet Elijah as an uncompromising defender of Yahwism who saves the Israeli nation from religious syncretism prevailing in the times of king Ahab. Although Elijah left no written records, the role he played in the history of ancient Israel makes him one of the most remarkable figures in the Old Testament. The greatness of Elijah can be measured not only by his accomplishments in defending Yahwism but also by the ability to experience and overcome personal crises. The author begins his paper with a short analysis of the term ’crisis’, based on the Old and New Testament as well as apocryphal literature. Then, a biography of prophet Elijah is presented followed by the analysis of Elijah’s religious activity, taking into account the role of personal crises in his life. The author ends the paper by emphasizing the universal dimension of Elijah’s religious experience.

    W badaniach zastosowano nawóz wieloskładnikowy, o spowolnionym działaniu typu Osmocote Exact Standard (5-6 M) w czterech wzrastających dawkach 2, 4, 6 i 8 g/dm3. Przeprowadzono doświadczenie wegetacyjne, w którym uprawiano następujące gatunki roślin: Wisteria floribunda „Violacea Plena”, Hamamelis intermedia (x) „Diana”, Ouercus robur „Fastigiata Koster”, Betula utilis var. Jacquemonti, Carpinus betulus “Fastigiata”, Thuja “Smaragd”. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań do uprawy pojemnikowej wybranych taksonów drzew i krzewów ozdobnych zaleca się dawkę 6 g/dm3 nawozu Osmocote Exact Standard (5-6 M). Analiza preferencji konsumenckich, wykazała że konsumenci zakupiliby do swojego ogrodu rośliny rosnące w podłożu, do którego wprowadzono nawóz Osmocote Exact Standard w ilości 6 g/dm3.
    In studies the mulicomponent fertilizer with slowed- release, Osmocote Exact Standard (5-6 M) was used in four increased doses: 2, 4, 6 and 8 g/dm3. A vegetation experiment was carried out in which selected taxons of trees and ornamental shrubs were grown: Wisteria floribunda “Violacea Plena”, Hamamelis intermedia (x) “Diana”, Ouercus robur “Fastigiata Koster”, Betula utilis var. Jacquemonti, Carpinus betulus “Fastigiata”, Thuja “Smaragd”. In vegetation experiment was carried out in which selected taxons of ornamental trees and shrubs, dose 6 g/dm3 of the fertilizer Osmocote Exact Standard (5-6 M) was recommended to growing in containers. An analysis of consumers' preferences had showed that consumers would buy to their garden of plant growing in the substrate with an addition of the fertilizer Osmocote Exact Standard in the dose of 6g/dm3.

    Zminimalizowanie nawożenia doglebowego i zwielokrotnienie nawożenia dolistnego oraz likwidacja stosowania środków ochrony roślin zaliczają się do najważniejszych wytycznych Unii Europejskiej, które zmierzają w kierunku rozwoju biotechnologii i ochrony środowiska naturalnego. Mikoryzacja i wybór sposobu nawożenia w danej fazie rozwojowej roślin wpływa na tempo wzrostu roślin. Znajomość zastosowania odpowiedniego nawożenia w zależności od fazy wzrostu minimalizuje koszty nawożenia w produkcji szkółkarstwa ozdobnego.
    Minimalization of fertilization to soil and increase in fertilization by leaves as well as reduction in amount of used chemical plant protection means constitute the most important guide-lines in EU standards, which include biotechnology development and environment protection. Mycorhhiza and selection of fertilization method for plant affects rate of plant growth. Knowledge about use of proper fertilization according to plant growth phase constitute valuable factor to minimize fertilization costs in nursery covering garden plants.

    Opis:
    Park in Dłużek, established at a turn of XVIII and XIX century, was inscribed into monuments register in 1977. Unfortunately it is not under a proper care, elements of a spatial composition are being fading away and it is more and more transforming into wood-park. In such a situation, not only trees, but herb plants as well are decorative elements. A definite majority of trees in the park are representatives of a national flora. Thirty three species of threes and bushes were found in total, including only 3 species of gymnosperm. Park in Dłużek should be included into moderately rich ones from the point of view of dendroflora. It is an old premise, so as many as 20 trees (from 4 species) could be covered with a protection as nature monuments. Relief of the ground where the park had been established is diversified. Herb plants have a huge influence on the appearance, not only in woodland part, but on clearings, in streams and ponds as well. A hundred species belonged to 34 families were fund, including some very decorative ones, like snowdrop Galanthus nivalis, wood anemone Anemone nemorosa, wood violet Viola reichenbachiana, Water Forget- -me-not Myosotis palustris, Narrow Leaf Cattail Typha angustifolia, common reed Phragmites australis. There are 4 species under a legal protection in the park, that definitely increases a natural value. The lack of funds for a restoration to an old splendour is a problem of numerous old premises. However, nothing stands on the way to design composition elements increasing decorative values.

    Opis:
    Desire to surround with greenery, what is a natural human needs, has caused trees and shrubs become essential element in space design and shape. Plants as material are difficult matters to application. They only achieve a robust appearance into favourable conditions. Continuously changing environment "modify" forms of free growing (not shaped) trees and shrubs and their final appearance is difficult to predict. Characteristic of alive organisms to continuous growth and regeneration give a man ability to interference with their natural forms through proper pruning. Other plants feature - a natural, biological variability and ability of diverse species to cross among them allowed to receive more another variety of shaped and coloured forms. Ultimately we get material of huge diversity of shapes and rich colours palette. Success of their use only depend on ability of application this gently, very plastic and variability material.
