    Celem pracy było zbadanie wpływu zmiennych warunków wilgotnościowych na dynamikę wchłaniania wilgoci z powietrza przez produkty ekstrudowane. Materiałem wykorzystywanym w badaniach był ekstrudat pszenno-kukurydziany wyprodukowany na ekstruderze dwuślimakowym. Próbki poddawane były działaniu trzech czynników: temperatury, wilgotności względnej i czasu oddziaływania, podczas przechowywania ich w komorze klimatycznej. Stwierdzono, że ekstrudaty charakteryzowały się dużą wrażliwością na zmienne warunki przechowywania. Obserwowano szybki wzrost ich wilgotności masowej, szczególnie w pierwszych godzinach przechowywania w komorze klimatycznej.
    The objective of the paper was to evaluate the influence of variable humidity conditions, especially dynamic water absorption from air, on the extrudated products. The material used for the research was the wheat - corn extrudate processed in a double-screw extruder. During the storage in the climatic chamber three factors influenced the investigated samples: temperature, relative humidity and the storage time. It was found that extrudates were characterized with considerable sensibility on variable conditions of the storage. Rapid growth of the absorbed humidity mass, particularly in the initial hours of the storage in the climatic chamber was reported.

    Opis:
    The article presents the numeric simulation in the process of prototype testing carried out with a virtual model of a chamber for environmental testing. The authors present the results of the numerical analyses of the thermal condition of the chamber obtained with the finite volume method (FVM) in a temperature range from 238 K to 348 K. The obtained results enable the authors to verify the assumptions adopted in the design process. The results of the tests will be used in prototype testing to forecast the necessary time duration for the tests for the basic chamber operation in the real object.
    W artykule przedstawiono wykorzystanie symulacji numerycznej w procesie badania prototypu prowadzonego z użyciem wirtualnego modelu komory do badań środowiskowych. Zaprezentowano wyniki analiz numerycznych stanu cieplnego komory uzyskane metodą objętości skończonych FVM (Finite Volume Method) w zakresie temperatur od 238 K do 348 K. Uzyskane wyniki umożliwiły weryfikacje założeń przyjętych w procesie projektowania. Wyniki badań symulacyjnych zostaną wykorzystane w badaniach prototypu jako prognoza niezbędnego czasu trwania badań podstawowych parametrów pracy komory, prowadzonych na obiekcie rzeczywistym.

    Opis:
    Due to the introduced political instruments, as well as the increase in awareness and standard of living, mechanical ventilation is becoming more and more popular in Poland. The growing market and standards force the manufacturers of air handling units to constantly improve the quality of their products. In order to verify the operation of these devices, it is necessary in a specially adapted for this object called the climate chamber. Due to the strict regulations regarding the working conditions of the said facilities, it is necessary to apply the processes of advanced control systems in the process of regulation. These processes are aimed at establishing stable parameters of air supplied to the tested objects, ventilation and air-conditioning units such as: temperature, humidity, flux. Due to the need for precise control and operation of the installation in industrial conditions, it was decided to use the PID controller. The article deals with the optimization of the heating and cooling system, because the temperature parameter was a problematic element in the proper operation of the climate chamber. Both the heating and cooling systems have been described and executive elements have been emphasized, thanks to which it was possible to control the flow of circulating factors. The procedure of selection and implementation of the regulator's settings and its influence on the operation of the climate chamber was also analyzed.

    W pracy przedstawiono badania dotyczące modelowana zjawisk termodynamicznych w projektowanej komorze klimatycznej. Do modelowania zastosowano środowisko Fluent umożliwiające symulacje zjawisk z zastosowaniem numerycznej mechaniki płynów. Na podstawie modelu symulacyjnego wyznaczono prędkości i kierunki przepływu strumieni powietrza w komorze klimatycznej oraz przestrzenny rozkład temperatury powietrza. Dzięki przeprowadzonym badaniom symulacyjnym możliwe było takie rozmieszczenie urządzeń w komorze, aby temperatura powietrza w komorze miała równomierny rozkład.
    The study presents the research on modelling of thermodynamic processes in the climatic chamber, which is being designed. The Fluent application, which enables simulation of phenomena using a computational fluid dynamics, was used for modelling. Velocity and directions of air streams flow in the climatic chamber and spatial temperature distribution have been determined based on the simulation model. The simulation research, which was carried out allowed for such a distribution of devices inside the chamber so that the air temperature in the chamber was uniform.

    This article presents the construction and tests of a simple climate chamber used for testing elements in variable temperature and humidity. There is also possible pre-smoked the working space of the chamber. Authors used this chamber to calibrate low-cost CO sensors. These sensors are part of monitoring system for air quality and acoustic climate.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań niejednorodności rozkładu temperatury oraz wilgotności względnej powietrza wewnątrz przestrzeni roboczych dwóch komór klimatycznych. Dla oceny jakości regulacji układu sterującego doświadczalnie wyznaczono charakterystyki odpowiedzi układu na wymuszenie zmian temperatury oraz wilgotności w czasie oraz zbadano stabilizację parametrów w czasie.
    The paper presents the results of inhomogeneity of the temperature distribution and relative humidity inside the working space of two climate chambers. From the perspective of the calibration, the knowledge of the distribution of these parameters is critical for the value of the calibration uncertainty. The deviations of the parameter values in the separate tested areas from the value of the central point of the working space of the chamber parameter were determined. The made measurements confirmed the presence of non-uniform distributions of temperature and humidity inside the working space of the chambers. For the assessment of the quality of the control system, the knowledge of the dynamics of the changes in parameters is crucial. For this reason, the response characteristics of the system to the forcing of changes in temperature and humidity in time were experimentally specified. The temperature and humidity stabilization values were set for 25 ºC and for 50 %RH. The performed tests provided information about the areas of occurrence of the factors influencing the inaccuracy of the final result of the measurement inside the working space of the climatic chambers. The set values will allow assessing the quality of the measurement results obtained in the process of calibration through estimating the uncertainty of the measurement.

    The paper shows the construction and control of a climatic chamber used for the credibility evaluation of the profilometic measurements. The paper presents a control model using a PID controller and a solution for air circulation. The data regarding the influence of environmental temperature changes on the three-dimensional representation of the surface realized by means of a tactile profilometer were presented. This work shows the temperature characteristics of a climatic chamber.
