The main provisions of the Concept of the new Ukrainian school, peculiarities of the preparatory work for its approval by the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No.988-p of 14.12.2016 On Approving the Concept for the Implementation of State Policy in the Field of General Secondary Education Reform “New Ukrainian School” for the period up to 2029 have been revealed. The components of the Concept, directions, tasks of implementation in accordance with each direction are highlighted. The significance and content of the main competences of the graduate of high school (communication with the state (native in case of difference) and foreign languages, mathematical literacy, competence in natural sciences and technologies, information and digital competence, life skills, social and civil competencies, entrepreneurship, general cultural literacy, environmental literacy and healthy life) have been analyzed. The approaches to the development of a new standard of general secondary education are described. Three main stages of the reform, which will be carried out in 2018-2029 have been described. The attention to the new Law of Ukraine «On Education» (2017) has been drawn.

The article presents the autobiographical memories of Professor Józef Kargul – an outstanding teacher, researcher on adult education, academic teacher, for years associated with the University of Wroclaw, University of Zielona Gora and University of Lower Silesia, co-founder and scientific director of the Summer School for Young Researchers on Adult Education and Counsellors and the series “Adult Education Discourses”, functioning today as a scientific journal. Professor Kargul flashbacks to his childhood and youth, talks about his educational and scientific career, important life experiences, key events and important people that have had an impact on his life. He also shares some reflections on the condition of modern science, as well as what he believes is most important in life.
Artykuł przedstawia wspomnienia autobiograficzne Profesora Józefa Kargula – wybitnego pedagoga, andragoga, nauczyciela akademickiego, związanego przez lata z Uniwersytetem Wrocławskim, Uniwersytetem Zielonogórskim i Dolnośląską Szkołą Wyższą, współtwórcy i kierownika naukowego Letniej Szkoły Andragogów i Poradoznawców oraz serii wydawniczej „Dyskursy Młodych Andragogów”, funkcjonującej dzisiaj jako czasopismo naukowe. Profesor we wspomnieniach wraca do dzieciństwa i młodości, opowiada o swojej drodze edukacyjnej i naukowej, ważnych doświadczeniach życiowych, kluczowych wydarzeniach i osobach znaczących, które wywarły wpływ na Jego życie. Dzieli się przy tym również refleksjami na temat stanu współczesnej nauki, jak też tego, co Jego zdaniem jest w życiu najistotniejsze.

Статья посвящена трем переводам стихотворения А.С.Пушкина «Зимнее утро». Для анализа взяты переводы, выполненные Н.Паниным (1888), его современником Ч.Э.Тернером (1899), и последний по времени перевод Р.Кларка (2016). Переводы данного стихотворения интересны для анализа, поскольку оно построено на антитезах. В статье рассматриваются пары «мороз» - «солнце», «ненастный вечер» - «солнечное утро», «тьма» - «сияние», ключевые понятия русской культуры «тоска» и «веселье», русская реалия «печь». Тексты переводов анализировались по методике медленного чтения. Анализ текстов показал, что переводчик может выступать и как исследователь. Р.Кларк ввел в свой перевод реалию, которой не было в оригинале. Таким образом, «милый берег», упоминающийся в стихотворении, становится конкретным местом около усадьбы Берново, хозяев которой навещал Пушкин.
Artykuł skupia się na trzech przekładach poematu Aleksandra Puszkina "Zimowy poranek". Przekłady dokonane przez N. Panina (1888), przez współczesnego mu C.E. Turnera (1899), a także najnowszy przekład R. Clarke'a (2016) stały się przedmiotem analizy. Tłumaczenia tego wiersza są interesującym obiektem, ponieważ wiersz jest oparty na antytezach. W artykule przeanalizowano pary "mróz" - "słońce", "burzliwy wieczór" - "słoneczny poranek", "ciemność" - "blask", a także kluczowe pojęcia rosyjskiej kultury, takie jak "melancholia" i "zabawa", czy pojęcie z zakresu realiów "piec". Teksty tłumaczeń zostały przeanalizowane za pomocą techniki close reading. Badania pokazały, że tłumacz może pełnić również rolę badacza. R. Clarke wprowadził do swojego przekładu rzeczywistość, której brakowało w oryginalnym tekście. Tak więc wspomniany w wierszu rodzinny bereg staje się pewnym miejscem w pobliżu majątku Bernowo, gdzie Puszkin przyjechał jako gość.
The article focuses on three translations of Alexander Pushkin's poem "The Winter Morning". The translations made by N. Panin (1888), by his contemporary C.E. Turner (1899), and the most recent translation by R. Clarke (2016) were taken for the analysis. The translations of this poem are interesting for analysis because the poem is based on antitheses. The article examines the pairs "frost" - "sun", "stormy evening" - "sunny morning", "darkness" - "radiance", the key concepts of Russian culture "melancholy" and "fun", the Russian realia "oven". The texts of the translations were analyzed with the help of the close reading technique. The research showed that a translator can also act as a researcher. R. Clarke introduced into his translation a reality that was lacking in the original text. Thus, the mily bereg mentioned in the poem becomes a certain place near the Bernovo estate, where Pushkin came as a guest.

The author shows how emotive means when falling into the sphere of Christian iconology, are transformed into tools for the spiritual change of a person. One such tool is represented by emotive keys. In the prayers of St Kirill Turovsky they are represented by such varieties as “liturgical emotive keys” – fragments of liturgical sequences (direct quotations, individual reminiscences and/or allusions, centons from reminiscences, allusions, paraphrases, etc.) and “emotive toposes” – images specific to the Pax Christiana culture, easily recognizable by its adherents (hyperbolized self-abasement, different types of metaphors).

Artykuł stara się pokazać związki i relacje, jakie łączą wiersze ze zbioru Vade-mecum z epistolografią Norwida. Relacje ujawniają się nie tylko poziom genetycznym, ale także tematycznym, stylistycznym, leksykalnym (w tym dotyczącym słów-kluczy) i przede wszystkim w zakresie wykorzystywania struktur komunikacyjnych. W przypadku wierszy zwraca uwagę dialog oraz sięganie po formuły potoczne i epistolograficzne, zaś jeśli chodzi o listy skłonność poety do przesycania przynajmniej niektórych ich fragmentów formułami i zwrotami o wybitnie poetyckim charakterze.
This article attempts to highlight relationships between poems from the collection Vade-mecum and Norwid’s epistolography. These ties manifest not only on the genetic level, but also in terms of themes as well as stylistic and lexical elements (including key words), primarily with regard to the use of communication structures. What draws attention in these poems is the use of dialogue and the incorporation of colloquial and epistolographic phrases.In his letters, on the other hand, the poet displays a predilection for saturating certain passages with formulas and expressions of distinctly poetic character.

The presence of a monastic library, possibly connected with a scriptorium, in the complex labeled as D on the upper plateau in the monastery at Nekloni (Naqlun), has been suggested in research, based on finds of texts, as well as other categories of artifacts presented in excavation reports. The paper discusses the collection of wooden artifacts from the complex, emphasizing objects that could have been part of the upper-floor reception rooms envisioned as the place where one would expect to find the monastery library.

The ElGamal encryption scheme can be used for both digital signatures and encryption, and its security results from the difficulty of calculating discrete logarithms in a finite field. This algorithm usually works in a multiplicative group of GF(p) and in this case the progress in the discrete logarithm problem forces the users of such a basic ElGamal public key cryptosystem to permanently increase a prime modulus p in order to ensure the desired security. But the task of finding a multiplicative group of GF(p) is unfeasible for an ordinary user. It is possible to overcome this inconvenience by forming an ElGamal encryption scheme which works in a multiplicative group of GF(pm). Therefore, it is shown in the paper how to implement this cryptosystem for work in the multiplicative group of GF(pm), in its subgroup, and in an algebraic system named the spurious multiplicative group of GF(pm).

Opis:
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) has been recently one of the more popular applications in Internet technology. It benefits lower cost of equipment, operation, and better integration with data applications than voice communications over telephone networks. However, the voice packets delivered over the Internet are not protected. The session initiation protocol (SIP) is widely used signaling protocol that controls communications on the Internet, typically using hypertext transport protocol (HTTP) digest authentication, which is vulnerable to many forms of attacks. This paper proposes a new secure authentication and key agreement scheme based on Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA) and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) named (ECDSA). Security analysis demonstrates that the proposed scheme can resist various attacks and it can be applied to authenticate the users with different SIP domains.

Opis:
This paper presents a piecewise line generalization algorithm (PG) based on shape characteristic analysis. An adaptive threshold algorithm is used to detect all corners, from which key points are selected. The line is divided into some segments by the key points and generalized piecewise with the Li-Openshaw algorithm. To analyze the performance, line features with different complexity are used. The experimental results compared with the DP algorithm and the Li-Openshaw algorithm show that the PG has better performance in keeping the shape characteristic with higher position accuracy.

Opis:
A strong multiple designated verifiers signature (SMDVS) enables a signer to convince a set of verifiers by generating one signature, of which the verification needs a private key of a verifier. After a brief survey of current SMDVS schemes, we find no schemes suitable to a broadcast propagation, where the simulation needs only one verifier's private key. Motivated by this discovery, we propose a broadcast SMDVS scheme. The new scheme is proven secure in the random oracle model.

At present, most high-accuracy single-person pose estimation methods have high computational complexity and insufficient real-time performance due to the complex structure of the network model. However, a single-person pose estimation method with high real-time performance also needs to improve its accuracy due to the simple structure of the network model. It is currently difficult to achieve both high accuracy and real-time performance in single-person pose estimation. For use in human–machine cooperative operations, this paper proposes a single-person upper limb pose estimation method based on an end-to-end approach for accurate and real-time limb pose estimation. Using the stacked hourglass network model, a single-person upper limb skeleton key point detection model is designed. A deconvolution layer is employed to replace the up-sampling operation of the hourglass module in the original model, solving the problem of rough feature maps. Integral regression is used to calculate the position coordinates of key points of the skeleton, reducing quantization errors and calculations. Experiments show that the developed single-person upper limb skeleton key point detection model achieves high accuracy and that the pose estimation method based on the end-to-end approach provides high accuracy and real-time performance.

The paper shows how the original semi endogenous and balanced growth model of Phelps (1966), and my extended version of it (Gomulka, 1990), could be useful in explaining the key ‘stylized facts’ of global long-term growth so far, and in predicting its dynamics in the future. During the last two centuries the sector of R&D and education, producing qualitative changes, has been expanding in the world’s most developed countries much faster than the sector producing conventional goods. The extended model is used to explore and evaluate. the consequences for the global long-term growth of the end of this unbalanced growth, of the completion of the catching up by most of the world’s less developed countries, and of the expected eventual stabilization of the size of the world population. The theory yields a thesis, new in the literature, that the rate of global per capita GDP growth will eventually return to the historically standard very low level, thus implying that the world’s technological revolution is going to be an innovation super-fluctuation.

Opis:
Changes in the social paradigm, technological and digital trends, as well as the negative impacts of the macro environment are also reflected in changes in retail business models, which are becoming a multi-channel means of value creation. The aim of the present paper is to identify and examine the implementation of selected retail activities as a value carrier for retail establishment model identification, and subsequent segmentation and profiling of retail establishments. The paper is supported by primary research on a sample of 246 retail outlet managers using inquiry (semi-structured interviews) in Bratislava. The collected data were processed using descriptive and inductive statistics as well as higher statistical methods (EFA, CA). The results suggest five key areas in business model design, namely supply chain; online or digital world; communication and price; geo-marketing and customer satisfaction. Based on the above factors, three homogeneous groups of retail outlets can be identified.
Zmiany paradygmatu społecznego, trendów technologicznych i cyfrowych, a także negatywny wpływ makrootoczenia znajdują odzwierciedlenie również w zmianach modeli biznesowych widocznych w handlu detalicznym, które stają się obecnie wielokanałowym środkiem tworzenia wartości. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest identyfikacja i zbadanie realizacji wybranych działań sprzedażowych jako nośnika wartości dla identyfikacji modeli placówek detalicznych, a następnie ich segmentacji i profilowania. Artykuł poparty jest badaniami pierwotnymi na próbie 246 menedżerów punktów sprzedaży detalicznej (wywiady częściowo ustrukturyzowane) w Bratysławie. Zebrane dane poddano analizie z wykorzystaniem statystyki opisowej i indukcyjnej oraz metod statystycznej analizy wielowymiarowej (EFA, CA). Wyniki sugerują pięć kluczowych obszarów projektowania modeli biznesowych, a mianowicie: łańcuch dostaw; świat online (cyfrowy); komunikacja i cena; geomarketing oraz satysfakcja klienta. Na podstawie zidentyfikowanych czynników można wyróżnić trzy jednorodne grupy punktów sprzedaży detalicznej.

Aim: The paper is aimed at highlighting the growing importance of values in both management theory and practice with a focus on aligning employee management practices with the key values in organisations which practise Management by Values (MBV).   Design / Research methods:  Critical literature review and analysis of results of accessible empirical research.   Conclusions / findings: Management by Values can only yield effects if it is applied in all sections of the firm with employees taking up actions in line with the shared organizational values. That is why it is crucial to reflect the core values in recruitment and selection of employees, as well as training, motivation or work productivity assessment. The analysis of the literature revealed the need for more in-depth research on the links between staff policy and management by values, especially in management practices.   Originality / value of the paper: The paper is aimed at managers who implement MBV in their organisations as well as scholars focusing on the subject of values in management. What is more, it synthesizes different outlooks on MBV and embeds this concept in realities of Polish companies.   Limitations of the research: The literature review and analysis of the results of empirical research conducted in Polish companies indicate the growing importance of values in management practice and the necessity of constructing specific tools that would enable leaders to operationalize key values and use some indicators to assess present and potential employees in the terms of their respect for the organization’s shared values.
