Od 2007 roku Biblioteka Uniwersytecka w Poznaniu gromadzi komiksy oraz materiały ich dotyczące. Momentem znaczącym dla gromadzenia tych wydawnictw był zakup prywatnej kolekcji 4670 komiksów. Niniejszy artykuł definiuje pojęcie „komiks” oraz omawia trudności, jakie napotykają katalogerzy w opracowaniu formalnym tego trudnego materiału. Autorki porównały rozwiązania zastosowane w innych bibliotekach. Przedstawiły również stan prac nad katalogowaniem komiksów w Bibliotece Uniwersyteckiej w Poznaniu. Artykuł zawiera przykłady i propozycje konkretnych rozwiązań.
Poznań University Library has been collecting comic books and other relevant material since 2007. A conducive opportunity for the decision to collect comics publications was a purchase of a private collection of 4,670 comic books the very same year. The present article introduces the reader to the notion of “comic book” or “comics” and discusses problems in formal processing that face cataloguers of this difficult material. The authors compare different solutions to the problem applied in other libraries and present the current state of affairs in comics cataloguing at Poznań University Library. The article is complemented with specific examples and particular solutions to be applied in the near future.

In the collections of the Uppsala University Library there are many books that were owned by libraries in Poznań until 1655, when Swedish forces took them as war booty and sent them to Sweden. In this article the aim is to recapitulate the history of this Poznań-collection, i.e. the library itself, the capture in 1655, its transport to and later destiny in Sweden, partly by means of material evidence. Traces from all these events are still visible in the books themselves and they are of course essential for understanding the collection in its present context. In addition, there are catalogues and registers from the time that help us in the reconstruction of this important historical library.
W zbiorach Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej w Uppsali znajduje się wiele książek, które do roku 1655 należały do Kolegium Jezuickiego w Poznaniu, a które wojska szwedzkie zagrabiły i wysłały jako łup wojenny do Szwecji. W artykule prezentuję historię tej poznańskiej kolekcji, opracowaną na podstawie śladów materialnych: historię samej biblioteki, jej zagrabienie w 1655 r., przetransportowanie do punktu docelowego w Szwecji. Fizyczne ślady tych wszystkich wydarzeń są ciągle widoczne na samych książkach i są one oczywiście w dalszym ciągu najważniejszą podstawą dla zrozumienia istnienia kolekcji we współczesnym kontekście. Dodatkowym wsparciem są tutaj katalogi i rejestry z epoki, które pomagają nam w zrekonstruowaniu tej ważnej historycznej kolekcji.

Dans le cadre des travaux menés par le Centre de Documentation des Monuments Historiques de Varsovie, an a entrepris la rédaction du catalogue de la documentation graphique en matière d’architecture et d’urbanisme faisant partie des Actes de la Commission Gouvernementale des Affaires Intérieures (KRSW) aux Archives Centrales des Actes Anciens. Cette documentation relève principalement des années 1815—1868 mais une certaine quantité de ces actes concerne encore la première quinzaine d’années du XIXème siècle. La rédaction du catalogue ne prend point en considération les documents dits „Varsoviana” qui seront publiés par les Archives Centrales des Actes Anciens, Les dessins présentent des plans architectoniques et des plans urbains envoyés à la „KRSW” afin de concerter avec les autorités centrales, les investissements entrepris dans les villes. A coté de l ’architecture de l ’habitat, il y a des projets de bâtiments d’utilité publique destinés à des fins diverses telles que: bureaux, services, production, culture etc. Les projets des églises n’entrent pas dans le cadre de ce matériel, faisant partie d’autres ensembles archivaux. Les plans urbanistiques ont été envoyés à la Commission, en rapport à l ’action de régulation des rues menée de façon intensive et celle des améliorations générales (pavage, canalisation etc). Le classement du matériel s’effectue à la base des principes appliqués dans l ’élaboration des collections cartographiques archivales, avec quelques modifications résultant du caractère de ce matériel et du fait que le dit catalogue est destiné aux conservateurs et aux historiens de l ’art et de la culture. Le nombre des positions du catalogue dépassera probablement 1.000 objectifs (actuellement — plus de 800 dessins ont été catalogués). Le matériel ainsi élaboré fournit de multiples informations directes et indirectes sur le caractère de la politique urbaine en Pologne à l ’époque; il transmet la documentation concernant les nombreux monuments et ensembles historiques, il illustre l’activité de certains architectes. Et, en plus, il présente de multiples contributions à l ’histoire de la formation de la conscience sociale et culturelle de la 1ère moitié du XIXème siècle fortement influencée par les idées rationalistes du siècle précédent.

Opis:
The paper is an attempt at showing – through the prism of autobiographical reflection – the location of tradition, as understood by Wilhelmina Zyndram‑Kościałkowska (1844–1926), a translator, writer and literary critic. The notion of location is understood by the author as a particular, restricted, time‑spatial reservoir of meanings, perceived in a broader perspective, that is as a component of a larger whole. The location of tradition is a segment and stage concerning a problem residuum of meanings in culture and history, as well as in the history of thought, which has been located in the space of individual biography of Kościałkowska, constructed with an old hand of the writer and placed as a component of diagnoses in her contemporaneity. The research material includes manuscripts (notebooks with memories and other types of autobiographical archives), deposited in the Lithuanian State Historical Archives in Vilnius (Lietuvos Valstybės Istorijos Archyvas). The author shows various ways of conducting dialogue by the critic with the old tradition (history, politics, culture, portraits of people, literature, art, family history) and the meaning of the location of tradition in the process of recording oneself and one’s contemporaneity by Kościałkowska.
