Opis:: Let Ĝ = (V, E, ϛ, η) be a simple intuitionistic fuzzy graph. In this article, the notion of energy of the fuzzy graph is expanded to the energy of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. The adjacency matrix of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph has been determined and evaluated the energy of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph in terms of its adjacency matrix with suitable illustrative examples. We investigated some lower and upper bounds on the energy of an intuitionistic fuzzy graph.

Opis:: This paper presents recent approaches in soft computing to manage imprecision and uncertainty which appear in software reliability engineering. Firstly, recent approaches like imprecise probabilities, generalized intervals, fuzzy sets and intuitionistic-fuzzy sets are shortly described, and the usage of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers for system reliability computation is shown. Intuitionistic-fuzzy approaches for software reliability growth models are proposed and experimental results are given.

Opis:: With respect to multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problems in which attribute values take the form of fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy values, a new decision making analysis method is developed. First, some operational laws of fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy values, score function and accuracy function of fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy values are introduced. Then, we have developed two fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy Choquet integral aggregation operators: fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy Choquet ordered averaging (FNIFCOA) operator and fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy Choquet ordered geometric mean (FNIFCOGM) operator. The prominent characteristic of the operators is that they can not only consider the importance of the elements or their ordered positions, but also reflect the correlation among the elements or their ordered positions. We have studied some desirable properties of the FNIFCOA and FNIFCOGM operators, such as commutativity, idempotency and monotonicity, and applied the FNIFCOA and FNIFCOGM operators to multiple attribute decision making with fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy information. Finally an illustrative example has been given to show the developed method.

Opis:: The article proposes application of artificial intelligence methods to assess students of technical universities. The level of achieved educational goals can be assessed using measurements based on the idea of Fuzzy Intuitionistic Sets (IFS). A classification algorithm was developed and an exemplary distribution of the criteria values using IFS was presented. The application of the proposed approach in online education can enrich the student evaluation process with additional information related to the uncertainty or lack of data.
W artykule proponuje się do oceny studenta uczelni technicznych użycie intuicjonistycznych zbiorów rozmytych, które znajdują zastosowanie w metodach sztucznej inteligencji. Poziom osiąganych celów edukacyjnych można ocenić za pomocą miar opartych na idei rozmytych zbiorów intuicjonistycznych (IFS). Opracowano algorytm klasyfikacji oraz zaprezentowano przykładowy rozkład wartości kryteriów z wykorzystaniem IFS. Zastosowanie proponowanego podejścia w kształceniu online może wzbogacić proces oceny studenta o dodatkowe informacje związane z niepewnością lub brakiem danych.

Opis:: With respect to multiple attribute decision making problems with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information, some operational laws of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, score function and accuracy function of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are introduced. A combined optimization model based on the deviation method, by which the attribute weights can be determined, is established. For special situations, in which information about attribute weights is completely unknown, we establish another combined optimization model. By solving this model, we get a simple and exact formula, which can be used to determine the attribute weights. We utilize the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted averaging (IIFWA) operator to aggregate the intuitionistic fuzzy information corresponding to each alternative, and then rank the alternatives and select the most desirable one(s) according to the score and accuracy functions. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

Opis:: Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets and especially his intuitionistic fuzzy relations are tools that make it possible to model effectively imperfect information that we meet in many real-life situations. In this paper, we discuss the new concepts of the transitivity problem of Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy relations in an epistemic aspect. The transitivity property reflects the consistency of a preference relation. Therefore, transitivity is important from the point of view of real problems appearing, e.g., in group decision making in preference procedures. We propose a new type of optimistic and pessimistic transitivity among the alternatives (options) considered and their use in the procedure of ranking the alternatives in a group decision-making problem.

Opis:: This article proposes an algorithmic approach for multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems using interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft matrix (IVIFSM) and confident weight of experts. We propose a novel concept for assigning confident weights to the experts based on cardinals of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets (IVIFSSs). The confident weight is assigned to each of the experts based on their preferred attributes and opinions, which reduces the chances of biasness. Instead of using medical knowledgebase, the proposed algorithm mainly relies on the set of attributes preferred by the group of experts. To make the set of preferred attributes more important, we use combined choice matrix, which is combined with the individual IVIFSM to produce the corresponding product IVIFSM. This article uses IVIFSMs for representing the experts’ opinions. IVIFSM is the matrix representation of IVIFSS and IVIFSS is a natural combination of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set (IVIFS) and soft set. Finally, the performance of the proposed algorithm is validated using a case study from real life.

Opis:: In this paper a new approach is explained for solving intuitionistic dual fuzzy fractional nonlinear equations. Here we have suggested a numerical method for solving a dual fuzzy nonlinear fractional equations instead of standard analytical techniques which are not suitable everywhere. Initially we wrote a dual fuzzy non-linear fractional equations in parametric form and then solve it by iterative method. An illustrative example is given to show the efficiency of our approach.
