    The paper analyses the concept of “formation” in relation to those categories of the personalistic philosophy of formation which help us understand man in his individuality and relationship at the same time. Part one reconstructs the concept of “formation” in the aspect of participation, the essence of interpersonal relations, and at the same time stresses their individual character. Part two analyses the “interpersonal dialogue” as a relation derived from the relation of participation, in the aspect of the value of truth. The paper closes with a description of the phenomenon of formation in the subjective aspect, from the part of the individual man living and responding to the truth of dialogue. Our analysis allows us to reconstruct the definition of “formation.” According to the personalistic philosophy of formation and interpersonal relations, it takes on the following form: formation is self-formation in dialogue.

It assumes recognition of the dignity and freedom of every human being and his right to express his or her own views. This is the way to tackle the most pressing problems of contemporary multicultural reality. It is a determinant of the maturity of society.

    Each group has its own dynamism of development which is mostly comprised of commonly shared values and personality features of the group and its leader. Conflicts are a natural phenomenon in the functioning of a group. If they are only half-solved, they lead to serious crises. An educator plays a vital role in the process of conflict resolution. To make problems arising in a group become the occasion for both personal and group development, an educator has to possess suitable skills of sincere communication with group members, has to determine the core of the conflict, be open to another person’s opinions and be capable of compromise.

    The aim of the article is to answer the question of why contemporary interpersonal relationships need dialogue in cultural and social transformations ? The article is based on the conclusions of the author’s research carried out among a selected group of students revealing the characteristics of homo construens. Young people who took part in the research directed (constructed) the scripts of partnership and family biographies as free, original and willing to change. On the other hand, the same scripts unmasked loneliness and a huge need for recognition in the world of cultural and narcissistic demands for self-actualisation, satisfaction and a sense of fulfilmentin the spheres of partnerships and family. The need for dialogue requires pedagogical support that will revealthe values of community, social groups and partnerships.

    Catechesis is intrinsically geared towards the salvific process which goes on between God and man. This process has the structure of an interpersonal dialogue. The task of catechesis is to help young people to engage in a dialogue with God. In the structure of catechesis, pride of place goes to personal contact. It consists in the sharing of the experience of faith and human values which takes place as part of a common search for the will of God. Catechetical dialogue should be characterized by a pursuit of truth; clarity of expression; respect for the other person; transcending one’s thought patterns in order to find new possibilities for understanding and constructive cooperation through a shared quest; and the ability to remain silent and open up to the other person to understand their viewpoint from the inside.

    Artykuł prezentuje badania empiryczne przeprowadzone we wrześniu 2013 r. w klasach maturalnych małopolskiej elitarnej szkoły średniej – V Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. Augusta Witkowskiego w Krakowie. Tekst ukazuje opinie dorastających dzieci na temat relacji interpersonalnych łączących ich z rodzicami oraz zgłębia zagadnienie dialogu we współczesnych polskich rodzinach wielkomiejskich. Artykuł przedstawia jakość i zakres tegoż dialogu – zatem może być to zarówno dialog oparty na partnerstwie i podmiotowym traktowaniu, jak i pseudodialog, w którym brak wzajemności, szczerości, akceptacji, umiejętności słuchania, zaangażowania, cierpliwości.
    The paper presents empirical research conducted in the senior class at High School No.5 in Kraków, one of the most prestigious high schools in Lesser Poland. Thre paper shows the opinion of adolescents in relation to their relationship with their parents and focuses on quality and scope of dialogue in modern Polish city families. Dialogue can either be based on partnership and respect for the dignity of the child, or it can be a pseudo-dialogue which lacks honesty, acceptance, patience, involvement and the ability to listen.

    Dialogue is the basic experience of people involved in interpersonal communication. This experience is the foundation of ethical- reflection. Ethics refers to the experience of the person as the foundation and context of the ethical-reflection. The main determinant of this experience is the experience of the dialogue. We can therefore hypothesize that dialogue is the basic ethical experience. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the validity of this hypothesis and attempt to show certain aspects of the ethical dimensions of the dialogue.
    Dialog jest podstawowym doświadczeniem osoby uczestniczącej w komunikacji interpersonalnej. Doświadczenie to stanowi fundament etycznych refleksji. Jeśli etyka personalistyczna odwołuje się do doświadczenia osoby jako fundamentu i kontekstu refleksji oraz argumentacji etycznej, to podstawowym wyznacznikiem tego doświadczenia jest doświadczenie dialogu. Możemy zatem postawić hipotezę, że dialog jest podstawowym doświadczeniem etycznym. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wykazanie słuszności tej hipotezy oraz próba pokazania niektórych aspektów etycznego wymiary dialogu.

    Der Artikel will die These begründen, dass die Kommunikationsfähigkeiten der wichtigste Bestandteil des Erziehungsprozesses sind und dass die Bedingung einer erfolgreichen Kommunikation die Beherrschung der Regeln der schwierigen Kunst der offenen Kommunikation ist (sowohl in Form der unmittelbaren wie der mittelbaren Kommunikation). Um richtige zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen aufzubauen, sollte man einen guten Dialog verwirklichen: der Inhalt, die Sprache und das Gesprächsklima sollten die Offenheit (gemäß dem Rang der Probleme), die Aufmerksamkeit und taktvoll vermittelte Wahrheit fördern. Ein gutes Gespräch verlangt bedingungslos einen Verzicht auf eine angewöhnte Attitüde, sich automatisch verteidigen zu müssen. Es sollte das Gefühl der subjektiven Nähe und Sicherheit aufbauen.
    The purpose of this article is justification of the view that communication skills are the most important part of the process of education and that the difficult art to master the principles of open communication (both in the form of direct communication and indirect) is a prerequisite for an effective agreement. To build proper inter-human relationships, people should realise a good type of dialogue: content, language and climate talks should foster openness (i.e. the rank of problems), mindfulness and between the truth. Good conversation requires mandatory expulsion of habitual, automatic adoption of a defensive posture. It should facilitate building a sense of subjective closeness and security.
    Celem artykułu jest uzasadnienie poglądu, że kompetencje komunikacyjne są najważniejszym elementem procesu wychowania oraz że opanowanie zasad trudnej sztuki komunikacji otwartej (zarówno w formie komunikacji bezpośredniej, jak i pośredniej) jest warunkiem skutecznego porozumienia. Aby zbudować prawidłowe relacje międzyludzkie, należy realizować dobry typ dialogu: treść, język i klimat rozmowy powinny sprzyjać szczerości, uważności i taktownemu mówieniu prawdy. Dobra rozmowa bezwzględnie wymaga wyrugowania nawykowego, automatycznego przyjmowania postawy obronnej. Powinna budować poczucie subiektywnej bliskości i bezpieczeństwa.

Oryginalność idei autora Psychopatii nie ulega wątpliwości. Zapoznanie się z licznymi interpretacjami myśli filozoficznej Kępińskiego ujawnia trudność z jednoznacznym określeniem pozycji tego wybitnego psychiatry. Polscy autorzy zaciekawieni poglądami Kępińskiego pozostają wrażliwi na sprzeczności pojęć używanych przez twórcę psychiatrii aksjologicznej.
    In her article, Anna Antoszewska discusses the phenomenon of the interpersonal encounter in the philosophical thought of professor Antoni Kępiński, the author of Psychopatie, among other books. She lays special emphasis on the sources of his philosophical insights. While there is no doubt as to the originality of these insights, getting acquainted with numerous interpretations of Kępiński’s philosophical thought makes a researcher aware of the difficulty of unambiguously identifying the position of this outstanding psychiatrist and founder of axiological psychiatry. Polish scholars interested in Kępiński’s views remain sensitive to the contradictions among the concepts he uses in his philosophical reflections.

    The article is especially concentrated on threats to the family which are results from a bad communication. It could be very dangerous for the contemporary family. In the interest of proper development of the family, the most important demands for a family policy should be: increasing the authority of the family, fulfillment of the educational process, the obligation to care for the health of children and young people and showing positive examples of moral conduct. Polish family because of the transformation undergone rapid change. As we know, the family is an age-old community at least two people. It is the first and most important lesson of life. This fact made it to be flawless. To do this, the family should strengthen communication between members. Interpersonal communication leads to good relationships in the family, helps to avoid conflicts and barriers.

    Interpersonal conflicts arising between children are not only difficult for children themselves, but also for teachers responsible for conducting educational and didactic activities with children. Empirical studies (based on the diagnostic survey method: interviews with children, questionnaires for teachers) conducted among one hundred preschool teachers working with six-year-olds, and among one hundred preschoolers, have revealed that a considerable percentage of the surveyed teachers underestimate the importance of children’s conflict situations in their educational activities. The teachers are mostly unaware of the developmental dimension of conflicts, and they emphasise mainly the negative impact of such situations on children (46%), often punishing their pupils – as claimed by six-year-olds – for becoming engaged in a dispute (48%). The teachers also fail, to a significant extent, to reflect upon incidents of conflict, be it reflection upon the situation in the course of action or reflection upon the action with the benefit of hindsight. Results obtained in the studies demonstrate that the teachers do not show their pupils what a constructive dispute is about, and do not teach them any ways to resolve a conflict situation in an integrative manner – in cooperation with other interaction partners. They also fail to explain the meaning of dialogue in the conflict process to children, despite claiming to do so (81%). The findings may imply that although teachers know which constructive procedures should be used in situations of conflict between children, they do not put their knowledge into practice because, e.g., they are not competent enough to do so.

    The article takes up the idea of beauty in the dialogue. The starting point is the problem of the transcendental issue of truth, goodness and beauty. Considering the subject of beauty in terms of dialogue, first attention is drawn to the role of beauty in the dialogue itself. Then, the main themes of the dialogue about beauty are presented. Subsequently, the beauty of the dialogue itself is shown revealing in subjective terms the abundance of values of the epiphany of the face and the whole drama of interpersonal encounter.
