Opis:
The proposal of introducing new technologies in the engineer academic teaching for the transport infrastructure engineering run at the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław since 2012 is presented. The attention was given to the two main issues: − improvement of attraction and effectiveness of professional internships, − introduction of digital tools in education of transport infrastructure engineers. The collaboration with research institutes and rail and road authorities in to order to realize master’s theses is proposed. The procedure of realization of the master’s thesis is analysed. The e-learning ideology was presented, in particular: the service system, the participants of e-learning system, authorization of participants, kinds of didactic materials and the manner of their preparation, the kinds of courses and evaluation systems (tests, analysis of tasks, and also the manner of assessment of participants activity, by means of e.g. a questionnaire). Special attention was give to didactic staff’s participation in courses on methods and techniques of distance education.

The following paper presents executed at the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw student internship program and a program of industrial internships for young researchers technical universities of the country and from abroad. Many years of experience staff and a modern database of certified, modern laboratories can convey knowledge, the level of which is highly esteemed in the world. Conducted new projects and specialized training organizations in the design and maintenance of the Institute of Aviation enable trainees to familiarize themselves with modern technologies in the wider area around the aviation. The author presented the work program proposed the possibility of potential trainees in the laboratories of aerodynamics, strength, testing equipment and installation of air, environmental and motor. Posted framework programs, which are carried out by students and trainees. At the end of the shows achievements, and plans for the future. Run this way MARKETING Aviation Institute allows popularize unit in the country and abroad. Measurable benefits include contacts with similar companies in the world, as well as gaining a new perspective valuable employees.
W poniższej publikacji przedstawiono realizowany w Instytucie Lotnictwa w Warszawie program praktyk studenckich oraz program staży przemysłowych dla młodych pracowników naukowo-badawczych uczelni technicznych z kraju i z zagranicy. Wieloletnie doświadczenie zawodowe pracowników, a także nowoczesna baza certyfikowanych, nowoczesnych laboratoriów pozwala przekazać wiedzę, której poziom jest wysoko notowany na świecie. Prowadzone nowe projekty oraz specjalizowane szkolenia w organizacjach projektowych i obsługowych Instytutu Lotnictwa umożliwiają praktykantom zapoznanie się ze współczesnymi technologiami w szeroko rozumianym obszarze około lotniczym. Autor w pracy przedstawił możliwości programowe proponowane potencjalnym praktykantom w laboratoriach aerodynamicznych, wytrzymałościowych, badania osprzętu i instalacji lotniczych, środowiskowych i silnikowych. Zamieszczono ramowe programy, które są realizowane przez studentów i stażystów. W zakończeniu przedstawiono dotychczasowe osiągnięcia, a także plany na przyszłość. Prowadzony tym sposobem marketing Instytutu Lotnictwa pozwala spopularyzować jednostkę w kraju i za granicą. Wymierne korzyści to kontakty z podobnymi firmami na świecie, a także pozyskanie w perspektywie nowych cennych pracowników.

Opis:
Preparing students for the profession of a teacher involves internships in kindergartens and schools. Learning from practitioners and through practice can be considered in the light of E. Wenger’s theory of situated learning. The article presents the results of research aimed at identifying the experiences of post-graduate students of early-childhood studies related to the peripheral participation in early-childhood teachers communities of practice. The research project was carried out in accordance with the grounded theory, data were collected on the basis of analysis of documents, i.e. student documentation from continuous internships in kindergarten and school, presented in the form of critical events. On the basis of analysis of students’ statements, the barriers to learning from practitioners were identified - for example: encircling by the routine, superficiality activities, cultivating the teacher-expert worship; closing of teachers on modification of their practice; deprecating trainees and their activities, blocking the attempts of students to act differently. The article presents the characteristics of identified blockades, which are illustrated with examples from the collected empirical material.

Integrating the needs of the labor market and university didactics in acquiring professional competences. The University prepares young people for full participation in social life by providing knowledge and skills as well as developing practical professional competences. Responsibility for the future of young people reinforces the need to reconcile the identity of universities as centers for the development of thought with practical education. The aim of this article is to show the activities of the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow, enabling students to combine academic education with professional preparation as part of an internship project. The article describes this project, its context and practical significance.

Artykuł dotyczy ważnego elementu edukacji studentów pedagogiki, jakim jest praktyka. Autorki prezentują refleksje powstałe z doświadczeń studentów w momencie zderzenia się pełnych entuzjazmu adeptów pedagogiki, posiadających wiedzę teoretyczną z praktyką podczas praktyk studenckich. W artykule podjęto problem znaczenia i efektywności praktyk studenckich z perspektywy studentów. Jako metodę analizy przyjęto model pentabazy, który umożliwia prezentację wybranych problemów w aspekcie czasu, przestrzeni, zaangażowania i informacji. Kategorie te uznano za możliwe do wykorzystania w procesie przygotowywania i ewaluowania praktyk studenckich. Na podstawie dziennika praktyk studenckich metodą zgodności sędziów kompetentnych wskazano istotne obszary problemowe. Rezultaty analiz doświadczeń studenckich wskazują na rozbieżności między oczekiwaniami a zdobywanym w czasie praktyk doświadczeniem w zakresie ich organizacji oraz zaangażowania i informacji. Ujawnione obszary konfliktu umożliwiają podjęcie refleksji oraz konkretnych działań wśród organizatorów i opiekunów praktyk w zakresie twórczego przepracowania tego dysonansu i wzbudzenie refleksji nad profesjonalizacją pierwszych doświadczeń zawodowych.
The article deals with the problem of the importance and effectiveness of student internships from perspective of students. Teaching practice is one of the most important elements of pedagogy. The pentabase model was adopted as the method of analysis, which allows the presentation of selected problems in terms of time, space, commitment and information. These categories were considered possible to use in the process of preparing and evaluating student internships. Based on the student placement journal, significant problem areas were identified using the compliance method of competent judges. The results of the analyses of student experiences indicate discrepancies between expectations and experience gained during internships in terms of their organisation, commitment and information. The revealed areas of conflict allow for reflection and specific actions to be taken among internship organisers and mentors , they also instigate reflections on the professionalisation of the first professional experience.

Autonomia nauczyciela jest zagadnieniem szeroko badanym przez znawców języka i pedagogów, którzy zgodnie twierdzą, że jakość i efektywność nauczania zależy w dużej mierze od postawy nauczyciela. W literaturze fachowej często podnosi się problem braku autonomii nauczycieli, będący wynikiem wielu czynników, tj. obowiązek ewaluacyjny, konieczność realizacji treści nauczania zawartych w przyjętym programie nauczania oraz naciski ze strony rodziców, czy samych uczniów. Tekst dotyczy próby odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy studenci anglistyki odbywający praktyki zawodowe w szkołach są autonomiczni? W przeprowadzonym badaniu studenci języka angielskiego o specjalności glottodydaktycznej PWSZ w Płocku, odbywający praktyki zawodowe w szkołach podstawowych na terenie miasta Płocka, podzielili się swoją opinią biorąc udział w anonimowej ankiecie na temat autonomii zawodowej w odniesieniu do przygotowania i prowadzenia zajęć językowych, opracowywania dokumentacji praktyk, w tym konspektów zajęć prowadzonych, a także doboru materiałów dydaktycznych zgodnie z potrzebami uczniów. Przeprowadzone badanie ankietyzacyjne ujawniło, że studenci są autonomiczni w swoich działaniach.
The issue of autonomy among language teachers has been thoroughly analysed by various national and international scholars. An autonomous teacher is a key factor in building learners’ independence and takes responsibility for applying methodologically coherent approach that would encourage students to be responsible and autonomous language learners. Autonomy is a warrant of success which can be achieved only by an autonomous student taught by an autonomous teacher. Having the above in mind, it seems justified to research students of English who are teacher trainees of primary schools so as to establish the extent to which they feel autonomous at their professional practice and whether or not their attitude towards teaching is autonomous. The article summarises the results of the research conducted on academics studying English at the State School of Higher Professional Education in Płock who have done their teaching practice in primary schools of the same city.

The article presents the analysis results concerning the individual evaluation of student internships in Russian language classes in an elementary school. Ninety-nine teachers’ opinions on the completed individual student internships were analyzed. The research has proved that according to these opinions students are prepared to work at school. The analysis has also revealed that some aspects of preparation for the teaching profession require improvement. These are, among others, such issues as the use of new technologies in the classroom, the development of students’ intercultural competence, the character of teaching second foreign language. The author concludes that the questionnaire form should be modified.

Praktyki zawodowe to ważny etap procesu kształcenia uczniów, mający na celu pogłębienie nie tylko ogólnej wiedzy, lecz także praktycznych umiejętności wykorzystywanych w przyszłej pracy zawodowej. W niniejszym artykule przeanalizowano włączenie praktyk zagranicznych do programów kształcenia szkół o profilu zawodowym. Artykuł opracowano na podstawie badań własnych, przeprowadzonych w czterech szkołach o różnych profilach kształcenia (branża budowlana, branża turystyczna oraz branża beauty), których uczniowie odbyli praktyki zawodowe w przedsiębiorstwach w Wilnie, Kłajpedzie oraz Pradze. Celem autorki jest omówienie oczekiwań uczniów szkół zawodowych oraz korzyści, jakie przynoszą im praktyczne staże zawodowe odbywane w zagranicznych przedsiębiorstwach. Na podstawie potrzeb zgłaszanych przez uczniów przed wyjazdem można stwierdzić, iż są oni zainteresowani przede wszystkim nabyciem konkretnych umiejętności zawodowych. Ponadto część uczniów chciałaby udoskonalić znajomość języka obcego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem słownictwa zawodowego. Oczekiwania te świadczą o tym, że staże zagraniczne są ważnym narzędziem służącym do zdobywania wiedzy praktycznej. Z kolei możliwość zweryfikowania nabytych w szkole umiejętności zapewnia uczniom odpowiednią motywację do dalszego kształcenia się.
Internships are an important element of the students educating process aimed not only at deepening general knowledge but also practical skills used in the future professional work. The aim of the work is to analyse the use of foreign internships in vocational schools educational programs. The article is based on own research from four schools with educational profiles representing the construction, tourism (2 schools) and beauty industries. Pupils completed internships in enterprises in Vilnius, Klaipeda and Prague. The aim of this study is to analyse the expectations and benefits of practical internships in foreign enterprises for vocational schools pupils. Analysing the needs reported by students before going on an internship, it is clear that it is primarily the using of practical skills necessary in the industries that they represent. Therefore, students are particularly interested in acquiring specific professional skills that will be helpful in their future work. Additionally, some of them would like to expand their knowledge of a professionally oriented foreign language during the internship. This is confirmed by the fact that foreign internships for vocational schools pupils are a huge stimulus for acquiring practical knowledge and skills in an international environment. Comparing own skills acquired directly in school with practice in a specific industry is an enormous advantage and provides pupils with great motivation to continue their education.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie roli i celów studenckich praktyk zawodowych postrzeganych z trzech perspektyw: pracodawców, studentów i uczelni. Przy określaniu oczekiwań pracodawców i studentów wykorzystano wyniki istniejących badań, natomiast sposób postrzegania celów praktyk ze strony uczelni przedstawiono z wykorzystaniem metody analizy treści programów praktyk i efektów kształcenia przypisywanych modułom praktyk inżynierskich. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwala wskazać wyzwania wobec współpracy międzyorganizacyjnej, wzajemne oczekiwania stron oraz obszary współpracy umożliwiające doskonalenie praktycznego aspektu kształcenia na uczelniach wyższych. Przedstawienie trzech perspektyw umożliwia również nakreślenie obszaru dla pogłębienia współpracy między uczelnią i pracodawcami, w szczególności w zakresie badania efektywności programów praktyk.
The aim of this article is to analyze the role and objectives of students internships, taking into account the perspective of employers, students and universities. The analyse of employer’s and student’s expectations bases on the results of existing reaserch and studies, while university’s perception of internships goals bases on content analysis of internships programs and learning outcomes of engineering practices modules. The analysis set out the challenges for inter-organizational cooperation that appear between universities and businesses and defines the mutual expectations and areas of cooperation aimed at improving the practical aspect of education. Understanding the three perspectives enables also to deepen cooperation between universities and employers, in particular regarding apprenticeship evaluation.

Purpose: At present, one of the most important challenges faced by employers is to find, employ and retain talents. Attracting the best interns can be the way of creating the company’s brand as an attractive employer for Generation Z. The management of an internship programme with good preparation can strengthen the employer’s brand from the close supervision of engaged mentors and managers. The aim of the research is to identify the impact of the assessment of the internships carried out by students on their perception of the employer brand. Design/methodology/approach: The survey has been conducted in Poland in the period 2019-2021 among 789 full-time students in different fields of study. The paper presents a quantitative analysis of the obtained data in the cross-section of the respondent's study level (bachelor’s and master’s). The theoretical part of the article explained the essence of employer branding in a contemporary organisation and the meaning of internships as an employer branding tool for Generation Z. Findings: The answers of respondents reveal that the overall assessment of the internship affects their willingness to work at the given company and to recommend the company to others. The experiences gained during the internship, mentors involvement, and the way the internships are prepared and carried out by the company, have an impact on the assessment of the employer brand and influence the decision of Generation Z to participate in recruitment processes in this company as well as the selection of this employer as the future workplace. Research limitations/implications: The size of the surveyed group does not allow for the formulation of general conclusions. However, the obtained results may be the basis for further in-depth studies on the problem. Similar research could be conducted to establish the opinion of employers and university representatives with a broader consideration of other variables. Practical implications: The conclusions of the study will deliver the enterprises valuable information about the importance of internships for the acquisition and retention of future employees from Generation Z, and building the employer brand in the labour market. Originality/value: The obtained results allowed to fill the research gap concerning the perception of the representatives of Generation Z regarding the student internships in the context of the assessment of employer brand.

W artykule autorzy przedstawiają doświadczenia z wdrożenia opracowanej przez firmę Becker-Warkop sp. z o.o. rodziny ciągników akumulatorowych wraz z innowacyjną technologią mobilnego oświetlenia stacji osobowych i materiałowych wraz z trasą podczas przejazdu. W ramach referatu zostało przedstawione rozwiązanie techniczne wraz z jego możliwościami konfiguracyjnymi oraz doświadczenia z wdrożeń.
In the article the authors present their experience with the implementation of the battery monorail CA-190 developed by Becker-Warkop sp. z o.o. together with the innovative technology of mobile lighting of passenger and material stations together with the route during the journey. The paper presented a technical solution with its configuration capabilities and experience from implementations.

Celem artykułu jest analiza wpływu uczestnictwa uczniów szkół ponadpodstawowych kształcących się w zawodach technicznych w stażach zagranicznych na ich subiektywną ocenę poziomu umiejętności praktycznych. Hipoteza badawcza sformułowana na potrzeby niniejszej pracy brzmi: Staże zawodowe mają istotny wpływ na subiektywną ocenę poziomu umiejętności praktycznych uczniów szkół ponadpodstawowych kształcących się w zawodach technicznych. W artykule przeprowadzono subiektywną ocenę poziomu umiejętności praktycznych uczniów przed rozpoczęciem stażu zagranicznego oraz po jego zakończeniu. Badaniami objęto uczniów Zespołu Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych w Mońkach odbywających staże w Walencji (Hiszpania) w latach 2020–2022. W zagranicznych stażach uczestniczyło łącznie 106 uczniów reprezentujących następujące kierunki kształcenia zawodowego: technik mechanizacji rolnictwa, technik hotelarstwa, technik żywienia i usług gastronomicznych, technik handlowiec oraz technik transportu kolejowego. Znaczna większość badanych uznała, iż uczestnictwo w stażu zagranicznym przyczyniło się do podniesienia poziomu jej umiejętności praktycznych niezbędnych w ramach wybranego zawodu. Zdaniem uczniów udoskonalone zostały najważniejsze umiejętności bezpośrednio związane z wybranym przez nich kierunkiem kształcenia. Uczestnicy staży poszerzyli własne kompetencje personalne i społeczne oraz podnieśli poziom języka angielskiego w obszarze specjalistycznego słownictwa zawodowego. Ta forma kształcenia praktycznego jest więc doskonałym elementem edukacji w technicznych szkołach ponadpodstawowych.
The aim of the article is to analyse the impact of the vocational schools students participation in foreign internships on their practical skills. The research hypothesis states that foreign internships have a significant impact on the level of subjective assessment practical skills of vocational school students. The article assessed the subjective level of students’ practical skills before and after the foreign internship. The research covered students of The Comprehensive and Vocational School Complex in Mońki carrying out internships in Valencia (Spain) in 2020–2022. A total of 106 students representing the following fields of vocational education participated in foreign internships: agricultural mechanization technician, hotel management technician, nutrition and catering services technician, sales technician and railway transport technician. The vast majority of respondents stated that participation in a foreign internship contributed to improving the level of practical skills necessary for their chosen profession. According to the students, the most important skills directly related to the field in which they pursue the education process have been improved. The internship participants expanded their personal and social competences and improved their level of English in the area of specialized professional vocabulary. This form of practical education is therefore an excellent element of education in technical secondary schools.

W artykule zostanie dokonana analiza treści publikacji i prezentacji za lata 2010-2016, które były efektem zagranicznych staży pracowników Biblioteki Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie. Zakresy tematyczne opisane w publikacjach obejmują dzieje bibliotek, ich architekturę, wyposażenie wnętrz, usługi, działalność naukową, ofertę dydaktyczną, a także formy uczestnictwa odbytych staży oraz ocenę, wrażenia i porównania.
The Erasmus Programme supports international cooperation of higher education institutions, provides opportunities for university student and staff mobility abroad, and, during 30 years of its activity, brought numerous analyses and studies. This article will be based on the analysis of the publications and presentations that were the effects of foreign internships of the library staff of the Pedagogical University of Cracow. The thematic areas described in the publications include the history of libraries, their architecture, interior furnishings, services, scientific activity, didactic offers, as well as forms of participation in traineeships and assessments, impressions and comparisons.

Introduction: One of the important elements influencing the well-being of society is a highly educated, professional staff of the entire therapeutic team. Physiotherapists play a significant role in this team, which is why the higher education system is expected to make efforts to develop optimal education programs, including the development of practical skills. The purpose of this article is to present the Healint4All project, whose mission is to facilitate international internships for students of physiotherapy and other medical professions, which will allow high-class professionals in the healthcare sector to enter the job market. Material and methods: A step-by-step process of creating a protocol for auditing places of clinical practice was prepared. Virtual, interactive teaching resources were developed to prepare auditors. A literature analysis, focus interviews in groups of academic teachers, practitioners, and students. A pilot study of the protocol in live environments was conducted. Results: Both potential auditees (medical institutions) and auditors (universities) positively assessed the newly created tool. The recommendations included paying attention to transparency, simplicity, and linguistic correctness in all language versions of the protocol. It was suggested that the protocol, containing everything useful, should not be too long and would not burden the user with time. Conclusions: In the opinion of students and experts who evaluated the Healint4All protocol, it will contribute to increasing the supply and quality of international placements offered by healthcare organizations throughout Europe, as well as simplifying the processes involved in organizing these for students, educational institutions, and healthcare organizations.
Wstęp: Jednym z ważnych elementów wpływających na dobrostan społeczeństwa jest wysoko wykształcona, profesjonalna kadra całego zespołu terapeutycznego. Istotną rolę w tym zespole odgrywają fizjoterapeuci, dlatego też od systemu szkolnictwa wyższego oczekuje się podejmowania wysiłków na rzecz opracowania optymalnych programów kształcenia, w tym rozwoju umiejętności praktycznych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie projektu Healint4All, którego misją jest umożliwienie odbywania międzynarodowych staży studentom fizjoterapii i innych zawodów medycznych, co umożliwi wejście na rynek pracy wysokiej klasy profesjonalistom z sektora opieki zdrowotnej. Materiał i metody: Opracowano etapowy proces tworzenia protokołu audytu miejsc praktyki klinicznej. Aby przygotować audytorów, opracowano wirtualne, interaktywne zasoby dydaktyczne. Przeprowadzono analizę literatury, wywiady fokusowe w grupach nauczycieli akademickich, praktyków i studentów a także pilotażowe badanie protokołu w środowiskach potencjalnych beneficjentów. Wyniki: Zarówno potencjalni audytowani (instytucje medyczne), jak i audytorzy (uczelnie wyższe) pozytywnie ocenili nowo utworzone narzędzie. Zalecenia obejmowały zwrócenie uwagi na przejrzystość, prostotę i poprawność językową we wszystkich wersjach językowych protokołu. Zasugerowano, aby protokół, zawierający wszystko, co przydatne, nie był zbyt długi i nie obciążał użytkownika długim czasem potrzebnym na jego wypełnienie. Wnioski: W opinii studentów i ekspertów, którzy oceniali protokół Healint4All, przyczyni się on do zwiększenia podaży i jakości staży międzynarodowych oferowanych przez organizacje opieki zdrowotnej w całej Europie, a także pozwoli na uproszczenie procesów związanych z organizacją staży dla studentów, instytucji edukacyjnych i organizacje opieki zdrowotnej.
