    The article presents a comparative analysis of social preferences related to running in the forests of Poland and the Czech Republic. The preferences were determined on the basis of a questionnaire distributed in 2016 via social media among people interested in running in in both countries. The survey covered 346 people over 18 years of age in Poland and 294 people from Czech Republic. The questionnaire included questions such as: the frequency of running in the forest, the preferred season for running and average number of running kilometers in the week and the views on advantages and disadvantages of running in forest areas. The results show that there is quite a lot of differences between the preferences of respondents from both of the analyzed countries. Statistical analysis was carried out using the chi−square test. The observed differences relate mainly to the choice of season for running in forests, the frequency of running in the forests, average distance covered in a week and the views on advantages of running in forest areas. The most preferred season for running in Polish forests was summer, then spring, while in Czech ones it was exactly the opposite. Most respondents in Poland run in the forest several times a week, whereas in the Czech Republic – several times a month. The most frequently mentioned advantages of running in Polish forests were: contact with nature, clean air, landscape – pleasant environment. In Czech forests among the most frequently mentioned advantages of running were: contact with nature, good quality surface and clean air. Subsequently, the respondents pointed to the lack of traffic control infrastructure, and lack or a small number of other recreational people. Among the disadvantages of running in the forest, respondents in both counties mentioned mainly: the presence of tick and hunters. Other factors limiting the comfort of running in the forests included: uneven road surface or problems with phone connection. Only the views on the subject of the attractiveness of the forests for running and disadvantages of running in forest areas were not significantly important.

    The article presents the results of questionnaire survey, which aimed to determine social preferences in relation to running as a form of active leisure time in the forests. In 2016 the survey covered 346 people over 18 years of age. As a research tool we used an internet questionnaire, which included questions about such issues as: the frequency of running in the forest, the preferred season and the views on advantages and disadvantages of running in forest areas. The questionnaire was distributed via social media (eg Facebook) among people interested in running. Statistical analysis of the impact of personal characteristics (gender, age, place of residence) and experience in running on the respondent preferences was carried out using the chi−square test. Men dominated among the respondents. The majority were people aged 35−44 and urban residents. Over half of the respondents declared that they are doing athletic or recreational running for more than 4 years. Results show that forests in Poland are an attractive place for running. The most preferred season for running in the forest was summer and spring. Most respondents run in the forest several times a week. The most frequently mentioned advantages of running in the forest included: contact with nature, clean air, and landscape – pleasant environment. Subsequently, the respondents pointed to the lack of traffic control infrastructure, and lack or a small number of other recreational people. Among the disadvantages of running in the forest, respondents mentioned mainly: the presence of tick, hunters, and lack of clearly marked and illuminated routes. Other factors limiting the comfort of running in the forests were: uneven road surface or problems with phone connection. The results showed that the preferences varied significantly, mainly in terms of gender, age and experience in running. The age and experience of respondents have an influence on preferences regarding the frequency of running in forests. The preferences of the respondents referring to the advantages and disadvantages of running in the forests are different due to gender, age and number of years of their experience. The analysis of respondents’ preferences leads to the conclusion that for the development of running in forests, promoting the forest as a friendly running place, it is important to have appropriate recreational forest management, including, first of all, proper layout of forest road networks and their markings.

    The aim of the study was to investigate the perception of online questionnaires(CAWI) as data collection tool in groups of users and potential users of this technique - marketing professionals. The study has been conducted on a sample of CAWI n = 198 persons, including 50 CAWI users at work and 148 non-users. There were mainly answers to open-ended questions analyzed, including word association test. The two groups did not differ substantially in their overall opinions. CAWI nonusers have more negative attitudes toward this research technique resulting from contact with the surveys as respondents. The users group sees both advantages and disadvantages of using CAWI in marketing research resulting from personal experiences from research process and results usage.

    Wirtualny świat wygenerowany przez sieć internetową stwarza możliwości do realizacji pozytywnych, jak też negatywnych celów, wpływających na kształtowanie osobowości ludzi młodych. W artykule, związanym z tą problematyką, przedstawiono wyniki sondażowego badania ankietowego, przeprowadzonego na grupie 155 uczniów z wybranych szkół podstawowych, gimnazjów i liceów powiatu przemyskiego. W badaniu uwzględniono zagadnienia dotyczące aktywności w Internecie i jego wykorzystania do nauki, sposobów korzystania z usług i zasobów sieci oraz zagrożeń związanych z jej użytkowaniem. Na podstawie analizy wyników z ankiety sondującej sprecyzowano poglądy na postawione problemy. Sformułowano praktyczne wskazania dotyczące nauczania przedmiotów informatycznych w szkołach, wykorzystywania Internetu do kreowania postaw aktywnych i twórczych wśród uczniów. Zwrócono także uwagę na kształtowanie poczucia odpowiedzialności za działania w sieci internetowej oraz na profilaktyczne podnoszenie uczniowskiej świadomość o symptomach uzależnienia od Internetu.
    Virtual reality generated by the Internet provides opportunities for completion of both positive and negative objectives that have impact upon the development of personality of the youth. The article related to these issues presents the findings of the questionnaire survey of 155 students from the selected elementary, junior high and high schools in the Przemyśl poviat., The survey addresses the issues pertaining to activities on the Internet and its utilization for studying, ways of using the Web services and resources and risks related to their use. The findings of the pilot questionnaire provided a basis for making the views on the presented problems more precise. Practical guidelines pertaining to IT-related subjects in schools, use of the Internet for generation of active and creative attitudes among students have been articulated. Attention was also drawn to development of responsibility for actions in the Internet and preventive enhancement of students’ awareness of the symptoms of Internet addiction.

    Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie aktywności seniorów w zakresie użyteczności nowych technologii, zwłaszcza internetu. Jego realizacji posłużyła kwerenda literatury przedmiotu oraz analiza danych empirycznych pozyskanych z badania własnego, przeprowadzonego wśród słuchaczy Uniwersytetu Trzeciego Wieku w Nowym Sączu w 2015 r. W rezultacie stwierdza się, że badani seniorzy aktywnie uczestniczą w życiu wirtualnym. W internecie najczęściej korzystają z poczty elektronicznej, a spośród zmiennych demograficzno-społecznych, to poziom wykształcenia różnicuje najwięcej form ich aktywności internetowych.
    The purpose of this article is to present the activity of seniors related to the usability of new technologies, particularly the Internet. Literature review and the analysis of the empirical data obtained from the author’s research carried out amongst the students of the University of the Third Age in Nowy Sącz in 2015 helped to achieve it. As a result it should be stated that the seniors under study actively participate in the virtual existence. They mainly use the Internet to use the electronic mail, and amongst the demographic and social variables it is the level of education that differentiates most of their internet activity forms.

    Dneńní doba je ovlivněna rozvojem digitálních technologií. Na velký podíl tohoto trendu má vliv uplatňování digitalizace v různých oborech ale také ve vzdělávání. Ĉlánek se zabývá uplatněním digitalizace ve formě vybraných uĉebních pomůcek na bázi digitálních technologií s uņitím ve vzdělávacím procesu. Jedná se o vyuņití elektronických uĉebních materiálů, které jsou soustředěny do jednoho úloņińtě a tvoří digitální uĉební pomůcku pro uĉitele a ņáka. Jedná se o vyuņití webového prostředí případně prezentace s odkazy do internetového prostředí. Souĉástí příspěvku jsou skuteĉné ukázky digitálních uĉebních pomůcek.
    The present time is affected by the development of digital technologies. Great influence of this trend has an impact on the integration of digitization in various fields but also in education. The article deals with the application of digitization in the form of teaching aids and educational process. It is aimed at use of electronic teaching materials, which are concentrated in a digital storage and generate a digital teaching aid for teachers and pupils. This article presents results of a survey aimed at a sample of respondents who participated in lessons using digital teaching aids.

    Dla oceny poziomu rozwoju społeczeństwa informacyjnego obok znajomości wpływu, jaki Internet wywiera na życie społeczne istotna jest również opinia młodzieży szkolnej o jego zaletach i wadach. Ta grupa społeczna bardzo szybko odkrywa potencjalne możliwości aplikacyjne Internetu. Generowany przez sieć wirtualny świat stwarza bogactwo możliwości do realizacji pozytywnych jak też negatywnych celów, wpływając na kształt osobowości ludzi młodych. W artykule są przedstawione wyniki z sondażowego badania ankietowego mającego na celu uzyskanie opinii o zaletach i wadach Internetu od uczennic, a także od uczniów z I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. S. Goszczyńskiego w Nowym Targu. Łącznie w badaniach wzięło udział 109 uczniów, w tym 57 dziewczyn i 52 chłopców. Wyniki z badań opracowano oddzielnie dla uczennic oraz uczniów uwzględniając między innymi zagadnienia dotyczące: aktywności związanej z Internetem, korzystania z zasobów i usług sieci, komunikowania się przez Internet oraz jego wykorzystania do nauki, a także zagrożeń związanych z jego użytkowaniem. Ponadto przedstawiono wartości współczynnika podobieństwa struktur rozkładu odpowiedzi w próbach badanych uczennic oraz badanych uczniów, a także zbadano siłę statystycznej zależności wskazań od płci ucznia.
    In order to assess the level of development of the information society, in addition to the knowledge of the impact of the Internet on social life, the opinion of school students about its advantages and disadvantages is also important. This social group quickly discovers the potential application possibilities of the Internet. The virtual world generated by the Internet creates an opportunity to achieve positive as well as negative goals, influencing the personality of the youngster. The paper presents the results of a survey aimed at obtaining opinion from both male and female students of S. Goszczyński Secondary School number 1 in Nowy Targ on advantages and disadvantages of the Internet. A total of 109 students took part in the survey, including 57 female students and 52 male ones. The results of the research were developed separately for female and male students, taking into account, among others, issues related to: activities connected with the Internet, the use of Internet resources and services, communication via the Internet and its use for learning, as well as the risks associated with its use. Moreover, the values of the similarity coefficient of the structure of the distribution of responses in the samples of both male and female students were presented, as well as the power of the statistical relationship of indications depending on the student’s sex was examined.

    Jednym z problemów współczesnej edukacji jest poszukiwanie nowych rozwiązań w celu zwiększenia jej skuteczności. Odnotowano szereg nowych rozwiązań o bardzo zróżnicowanym charakterze, takich jak: koncepcja narodowych strategii ds. edukacji finansowych, do której wezwała w 2003 r. OECD, koordynacja i integracja działań w procesie edukacyjnym, innowacyjne programy i projekty edukacyjne, koncepcja nauki przez całe życie czy też nowe kanały dystrybucji treści edukacyjnych, takie jak np. e-learning. W artykule szczególną uwagę poświęcono wykorzystaniu Internetu w procesie kształcenia. Poza rozważaniami teoretycznymi, wskazującymi na zasadność podjętej tematyki, przeprowadzono, dla potrzeb niniejszego artykułu, badanie ankietowe.
    One of the problem of the contemporary education is the searching of new innovative solutions, that may increase the effectiveness of the education, including the financial education. There are a number of very different solutions, such the OECD concept of national strategies for financial education, co-ordination and integration of activities in the educational process, innovative education programs and projects, the concept of lifelong learning as well as the new channels distribution of educational content, such as e-learning. The paper pays particular attention to the using the Internet in the educational process. In addition to theoretical considerations, indicating the validity of the subject matter, was conducted the research aimed in the verification of the possibilities of using e-learning in financial education.
