    Autor artykułu przedstawił wyniki badań nad systematyką oraz specyfiką transferu zysku do akcjonariuszy spółek dywidendowych będących komponentami indeksu WIG, DAX, CAC40 oraz S&P500 za okres 2013-2019. Celem artykułu jest krytyczna ocena systematyki wypłaty dywidend przez spółki krajowe oraz międzynarodowe z uwzględnieniem stopy wzrostu dywidend, skumulowanej stopy dywidendy oraz średniej stopy zwrotu z inwestycji w akcje tych spółek. Przeprowadzone badania objęły 120 spółek notowanych na rynku polskim, niemieckim, francuskim oraz amerykańskim (po 30 spółek w każdym kraju), które w latach 2013-2019 wypłacały dywidendy i na koniec 2019 roku charakteryzowały się największą kapitalizacją w danym indeksie. Następnie autor dokonał analizy dla każdego rynku tylko tych emitentów, którzy w badanym okresie wypłacali dywidendy bez przerwy (przez 7 lat).

    Opis:
    Current approaches to subjectivity do not stress the notion of attributes of international subjectivity. The definitions of subjectivity embrace this category in general terms (concentrating on the implication of rights and obligations directly from international law), granting such status mainly to individual entities. The resultant increase in the number and quality of potential international entities would make international turnover virtually impossible. This would in turn imply granting international subjectivity to concerns and carriers of domestic law, thus obscuring the scope and subjectivity of particular structures. Hence, clear research assumptions are needed as well as efforts to determine what subjectivity is. These are tentatively formulated in this article with the subjective attributes (i.e. the most essential and constituting qualities) emphasised. The range of subject categories is wide (states and their in statu nascendi forms, international organisations, recognised entities other than states and organisations, international bodies and conferences). An analysis of the normative aspect and implementation of international subjectivity makes it possible to exclude entities and persons from having such status.

    Opis:
    The formation of an international organization is a process which stems from the need to act at a given time and in given conditions that occur in a specific environment. An organization is established when a group of subjects of international relations realizes the need for a fully permanent and systematic cooperation in order to implement agreed tasks and competences. Interest in such activity arises when the common need or threat is of such nature and magnitude that individual entities cannot cope with them alone, or they do it ineffectively. An international organization is not created for cyclical reasons for a short, strictly defined period of time, but for the purpose of permanent cooperation based on the mutual interests of all its members.
    Powstanie organizacji międzynarodowej jest procesem, który wynika z potrzeby działania w określonym czasie i w określonych warunkach, które występują w określonym środowisku. Organizacja jest założona, gdy grupa podmiotów stosunków międzynarodowych zdaje sobie sprawę z potrzeby w pełni stałej i systematycznej współpracy w celu realizacji uzgodnionych zadań i kompetencji. Zainteresowanie taką działalnością pojawia się, gdy powszechna potrzeba lub zagrożenie mają taki charakter i wielkość, że pojedyncze podmioty nie są w stanie sobie z nimi poradzić lub robią to nieefektywnie. Organizacja międzynarodowa nie jest stworzona z powodów cyklicznych na krótki, ściśle zdefiniowany okres czasu, ale w celu stałej współpracy opartej na wzajemnych interesach wszystkich jej członków.

    Opis:
    The aim of the article: The purpose of this article is to discuss theoretical issues concerning the nature of the Variable Interest Entity (VIE) structure and to analyze the scale and functioning of companies using this structure to issue securities on foreign exchanges. The main research hypothesis was that the VIE structure is widely used by Chinese companies to issue securities on international stock exchanges. Methodology: The basis of the research material are academic articles, reports of institutions and corporations, journal articles and other sources, as well as statistical data of companies collected on stock exchanges. Through analysis of stock market data, the authors sought to identify the number of companies operating under the VIE structure and determine the amount of capital invested on the largest international stock exchanges. Results of the research: Empirical research indicates that the VIE structure is used by Chinese companies operating in sectors of the Chinese economy restricted by the authorities in order to issue securities, and thus raise the necessary capital for further development. The results indicate the large amount of accumulated capital, the huge number of entities involved in their operation, as well as the high risk associated with the investment.

    Opis:
    The article presents the political, social, ethnical and economic situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina 15 years after the signing of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The agreement officially finished the war in this country. The goal of this article is to describe the complexity of the internal situation and the problems of the construction of a stable and independent state. The article discusses an extremely complicated political system, that was imposed in the peace agreement, which alongside with different political businesses of three constitutional nations is leading to the decision-making paralysis and makes stable ruling is making impossible. The role of the High Representative UN/EU was also described. The role is to coordinate the activity of international community and is indeed exercising the sovereign power in the state contributing to therecognition that Bosnia, although is an independent and sovereign state, actually became an international protectorate. Various opinions about the effectiveness of the High Representative and the legitimacy of taken actions were presented. The fact that (between 1992–2004) NATO forces (executing military missions) and (from 2004) European forces (executing civil-military missions) stationed in Bosnia-Herzegovina is not without meaning. The author is also paying attention to the fact that a complicated and strained ethnic situation is a source of stagnation in BiH and individual constitutional nations have completely different expectations and political businesses which is making impossible to form a civil nation (national) and is still jeopardizing the state’s territorial integrity.
