    On the basis of research and the syllabi for mathematics and environmental education, which promote integrated teaching, a model of integrated teaching of mathematics and environmental education has been designed. 331 basic school second grade pupils participated in the experiment (163 pupils in the experimental group and 168 in the control group). The differences in the results were statistically significant after the second test, as compared to the control group, the experimental group performed better at all levels of TIMSS taxonomy. With this the importance of interdisciplinary integration or of holistic teaching, indispensable in the first years of schooling, was confirmed.

    W pracy przedstawiono koncepcje systemu komputerowego wspomagania projektowania mechatronicznego. Przedstawiono podstawowe problemy projektowania mechatronicznego jak również nowe pojęcia z tym związane. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na problematykę integracji w projektowaniu oraz interdyscyplinarności projektowania mechatronicznego.
    In the paper of mechatronic concept of product design is shown. Two main features of mechatronic design which determine design procedures: interdysciplinary projects and integration in whole design process are stressed. A new concept of computerised system for mechatronic design is presented.

    Art therapy is a field of activity with both practical and theoretical foundations although the latter are not precisely defined. Management and quality sciences, as well as economics, include management in the healthcare sector as one of their areas of interest. Despite a wealth of literature on the subject of management in healthcare, no in-depth research on art therapy as a specific form of delivery of the therapeutic process has been conducted so far. The aim of this article is to identify potential areas for further interdisciplinary research linking the field of management and quality with health sciences and education sciences (bearing in mind that art therapy is not a separate, autonomous scientific discipline). In order to achieve this we conducted a comparative analysis of selected concepts of management and quality sciences with the scope of the subject matter of art therapy, and as a qualitative method of literature review we chose the deductive method. The outcome of the study is the development of a proposed set of areas for further interdisciplinary research linking management and quality sciences with the sciences that include art therapy. The research findings presented here highlight numerous areas of overlap between art therapy and management and quality sciences, which hold potential for application in art therapy practice and theory.

    Różnorodność typów współczesnych organizacji i dostrzeganie znaczenia logistyki w ich funkcjonowaniu, także przyczyniają się do zróżnicowania znaczenia i istoty logistyki. Współczesną logistykę można potraktować jako określony zakres badań naukowych i praktykę gospodarczą obejmującą planowanie, realizację i kontrolowanie procesów przepływu dóbr materiałowych, informacyjnych oraz świadczenia usług w związku z realizacją tych przepływów. Logistyka w otoczeniu organizacji cywilnych i wojskowych, jej naukowość i interdyscyplinarność, potrzeby wariantowości i wielowymiarowości praktycznej, w życiu społecznym i gospodarczym oraz funkcji zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa bytu i zysków gospodarce to treść artykułu. Celem jego opracowania było znalezienie podstawy i warunków do ustalenia zakresu jednolitego tematycznie opracowania obejmującego obszar interesujących zagadnień dotyczących wybranych aspektów współczesności systemów logistycznych, interdyscyplinarność logistyki z obszarami wiedzy, roli wielowymiarowość w rozwój logistyki.
    The variety of types of modern organizations and the perception of the importance of logistics in their functioning also contribute to diversifying the importance and the essence of logistics. Modern logistics can be treated as a specific scope of scientific research and economic practice including planning, implementation and control of the flow processes of material and information goods as well as provision of services in connection with the implementation of these flows. Logistics in surroundings of civil and military organizations, its scientific and interdisciplinary character, needs of practical multi-variability and multidimensionality in social and economic life as well as function of guarantying security of existence and profits to national economy are the contents of this article. The reason for its elaboration was to find the basis and conditions for ascertaining the uniformity scope of elaboration topic concerning selected aspects of logistic systems modernity, its various relations with interdisciplinary branches of knowledge, role of multidimensionality in development of logistics.

    This study is part of a broader study that examined the correlation between cognitive, psychological, and behavioural abilities in parents and their children. It focuses on the correlations between attitude to disability and the integration of people with disabilities among parents and their children. This study is a two-part integrated study. In the first part, the data were collected and analysed according to a quantitative methodology to examine access to disabilities, the integration of people with disabilities, and the factors that influence attitudes, feelings, and willingness to integrate with the general population. In the second part, the data were collected and analysed according to a qualitative methodology in order to examine the relationship of attitudes of parents and their children towards people with disabilities and the integration of people with disabilities.

    Opis:
    The paper addresses the methodological status of Polish cultural studies. It consists of two parts: the first is factual and the second theoretical and methodological, reflecting on theses held by culture scholars on their own area with the use of general methodological knowledge. In the first part I give an account of the different names (nomenclature) for cultural studies and of the traditions they refer to. I point out disciplines that are included in cultural studies, giving examples of selected Polish cultural studies centers. In the second part, on the basis of methodology, I explicate the meaning of the methodological categories that culture scholars themselves consider adequate to a description and an explanation (an understanding) of the methodological status of cultural studies (such as notions of “scientific discipline”, “interdisciplinary studies”, “integration”, etc.). I note the incompatibility between the institutional status of cultural studies and their methodological status, and I point out some sources of the incompatibility and its consequences. Indeed, cultural studies were created as an academic discipline in Poland, but from the methodological point of view they are interdisciplinary rather than a separate discipline. The reasons for this can be found in the methodological criteria cultural studies fulfills and fails to fulfill and in the methodological self-consciousness of culture scholars themselves. I note that the emergence of cultural studies is an expression of the unifying tendencies in science. Therefore, the methodological self-knowledge of cultural studies should be developed by realizing how rich in aspects and dimensions the integration of the sciences phenomenon is, and consequently, how many types of interdisciplinary studies there are.
