Opis:: We inductively describe an embedding of a complete ternary tree Tₕ of height h into a hypercube Q of dimension at most ⎡(1.6)h⎤+1 with load 1, dilation 2, node congestion 2 and edge congestion 2. This is an improvement over the known embedding of Tₕ into Q. And it is very close to a conjectured embedding of Havel [3] which states that there exists an embedding of Tₕ into its optimal hypercube with load 1 and dilation 2. The optimal hypercube has dimension ⎡(log₂3)h⎤ ( = ⎡(1.585)h⎤) or ⎡(log₂3)h⎤+1.

Opis:: The MANET networks are of prime interest for military networks. One of the proeminent routing protocols for MANET is OLSR, and indeed, OLSR has been used in many evaluations and experiments of MANETs. As OLSR is on its way to standardization, there are still a number of extensions that are useful and sometimes necessary for practical use of OLSR networks: such extensions are quality of service support, security, and OSPF interconnection. In this paper, we present the architecture, design, specifications and implementations that we made to integrate these features in a military test-bed. This test-bed is a real MANET comprising 18 nodes. These nodes communicate by radio and use the IEEE 802.11b MAC protocol. The OLSR routing protocol updates the routing table used by the IP protocol to forward packets.

Opis:: We propose the time slot routing, a novel routing scheme that allows for a simple design of interconnection networks. The simulative results show that the proposed scheme demonstrates optimal performance at the maximal uniform network load, and for uniform loads the network throughput is greater than for defl ection routing.
W artykule opisujemy ruting ze szczelinami czasowymi, który wymaga jedynie prostej architektury sieci połączeń. Uzyskane wyniki symulacyjne pokazują, że ruting ze szczelinami czasowymi pozwala na osiągnięcie maksymalnej możliwej przepustowości sieci przy maksymalnym równomiernym obciążeniu sieci. Wyniki pokazują także, że ruting ze szczelinami czasowymi osiąga lepsze wyniki wydajnościowe niż ruting z odbiciami.
