The paper presents a~teaching proposal for the Mathematics Education course for university students of Education with a specialisation in Early Childhood Education, in order to motivate pre-service teachers to self-discovery and to encourage individual mathematical problem solving. The proposal was pre-tested in practice. Interactive activities were carried out in which pre-service teachers individually solved mathematical problems at thematic stations and had the opportunity to learn by manipulating objects and discovering solutions to problems. The study was conducted using an action research approach. The results of the study are described in four areas of the researcher's activity: preparing the learning environment (organising the research), observing the subjects, communicating with the subjects (interviewing the pre-service teachers) and using the results.

W pracy omówiono przygotowane w ramach wprowadzonego na Wydziale Mechanicznym Technologicznym Politechniki Śląskiej projektu INTEREDU [4], innowacyjne materiały edukacyjne wykorzystujące nowoczesne techniki stereoskopii komputerowej [1–3] do prezentacji budowy i zasady działania napędów i przekładni stosowanych w robotach i oprzyrządowaniu towarzyszącym w zrobotyzowanych systemach produkcyjnych. W ramach projektu INTEREDU [4] opracowane zostały dodatkowe treści edukacyjne do przedmiotów wchodzących w skład minimum programowego, w tym także do grupy przedmiotów związanych z robotyką i robotyzacją procesów technologicznych. Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje zakres i możliwości opracowanych interaktywnych treści edukacyjnych, pozwalających na pokazanie sposobu działania i budowy typowych napędów elektrycznych, pneumatycznych i elektrohydraulicznych, wraz z przekładniami stosowanymi w robotach przemysłowych i osprzęcie dodatkowym, jakie można spotkać w zrobotyzowanych gniazdach produkcyjnych. Opracowane treści edukacyjne pozwalają na rozszerzenie oferty dydaktycznej wydziału, przez co powiększany jest zakres wiedzy absolwentów, a to z kolei wpływa na ich późniejsze sukcesy zawodowe i dalszą ścieżkę kariery. Korzystając z możliwości, jakie daje wirtualna rzeczywistość [1–4], opracowano również mechanizmy pozwalające na interaktywne sterowanie podczas wyświetlania prezentacji widokiem kamery, nawigowanie położeniem widoku i samego badanego obiektu (np. przekładni falowej), a także umożliwiające załączanie animacji ruchu, z możliwością pokazania lub wyłączenia widoku korpusów samych napędów, a także współpracujących z nimi przekładni. Nowy, spotykany do tej pory jedynie w kinach, system wyświetlania obrazu pozwala na lepsze przekazanie wiedzy. Ponieważ jest to zupełnie nowa forma kształcenia, dlatego też autorzy postanowili opublikować niniejszy artykuł w nadziei na rozwój tego typu interaktywnych treści edukacyjnych w innych ośrodkach akademickich.
In 2009 on Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Silesian Technical University in Gliwice there has been introduced the INTEREDU [4] innovative system for presenting the educational contents by the usage of modern techniques of 3D pictures projection [1–3]. In this project there was worked out additional educational contents for basic and major subjects leaded in our university, e.g. robotics, robot's programming, design of tools and tooling, etc. This paper presents the range and opportunities of worked out interactive educational contents, which allow on showing the structure and way of working of typical electrical, pneumatic and electro-hydraulic drives with gears applied in manufacturing robots and additional components, which are commonly used in robot integrated manufacturing systems. The project allows on enlarging the didactic offer of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, what has a great influence on enlarging the students knowledge and their future successes at work in the industry. Moreover, taking advantage of virtual reality [1–4], there is also prepared the special mechanism which allows on interactive camera steering, as well as objects steering, e.g. chain gear. Furthermore, it is possible to choose the special mode where the case is invisible just to see how everything is working inside. This brand new system of pictures displaying, which was used so far in cinemas, allows on better relaying the technical and engineering news to students. All above things have a great influence on the higher educational quality. That's the main reason why the authors have decided to prepare this paper. Besides, we believe that the interactive educational contents will be introduced in other research centers in our country someday.

In the process of work with students (post-graduate students, interns, teachers), the application of interactive forms of work has proven its effectiveness and relevance. At the same time, we should expand the methodological diversity of the interactive, involve such forms of work that best as possible meet the needs of the blended learning format. Quest as an interactive technology has many advantages – from a collective goal setting, definition of a strategy of movement to coordinated performance of intermediate tasks, search for substantiations and presentation of a collective decision. The main thing is that there are no obstacles to the realization of the educational quest, such as online or offline, because the help comes from the interactive board Miro. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the peculiarities of the application of the educational quest as a game technology in blended and distance education with the goal of deepening the motivation of students of higher education institutions of Ukraine, in particular medical ones; to intensify scientific research activities, to improve interaction in groups and teams, to promote the development of clinical thinking and communicative competence. Research methods. Theoretical (processing of the source base) and empirical (development and implementation of didactic quests in educational activities) research methods were used in the work. Due to the combination of these components, the expediency of application of quest-technologies in a blended form of education in higher education institutions is substantiated. Conclusions. Thanks to the involvement of quests, those who study will not only save motivation, but they will also structure, renew, update the acquired knowledge for further professional growth. Quests do not require students to be physically present in the classroom, and under the condition of a proper organization (script, route sheets for teams), the final result of their conducting in the format of blended education (through ZOOM, MIRO, another online platform for group work) is quite high. It is also interesting to note that quests in the form close to the competition, provide the opportunity to carry out summative and formative assessment, which is extremely important for monitoring the quality of knowledge. The application of educational quests in higher medical education with the involvement of interactive online boards opens up the opportunity to provide active interaction of subjects of training in conditions of a blended format. During the quest, the teacher performs the functions of a moderator, since organizational moments and the working atmosphere during group communication depend on him, as well as possible help in the form of vector direction (if the discussion has reached a dead end), and substantiation of the final results.

Opis:
The main purpose of this paper is to present how the new information technologies can be used to aid engineering education in the area of fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control. A 3D virtual reality model of the second stage of a water filtration system together with its simulation model are pointed out as a useful learning mean for stimulating education in the domain of advanced control theory at the university level. Some applications of the elaborated tool for presenting either fault diagnosis or fault-tolerant control issues are given and the most important merits and limits of the proposed approach in the education process discussed.
Głównym celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie nowych technologii informacyjnych do wspomagania nauczania w zakresie diagnostyki procesów i sterowania odpornego na błędy i uszkodzenia. Zaproponowano trójwymiarowy wirtualny model układu filtracji wody stanowiący jeden ze stopni systemu przygotowania wody w elektrowni. Model ten połączono z jego modelem symulacyjnym, otrzymując narzędzie przydatne do stymulacji procesu nauczania akademickiego w zakresie zaawansowanych systemów sterowania. W artykule pokazano przykłady zastosowania opracowanego systemu informatycznego do prezentacji zagadnień z diagnostyki uszkodzeń oraz sterowania odpornego. Artykuł kończy dyskusja na temat zalet i ograniczeń proponowanego podejścia w zakresie procesu kształcenia.

The purpose of this study was to investigate adult learners’ perceptions of the use of Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs) in a university classroom in Taiwan. The participants were undergraduate students in a Master’s program. Research data were obtained through students’ interviews, site observations, and students’ reflective journals on the course website. Interviews were conducted with six adult learners who were also working professionals. The research data indicate that adult learners valued the benefits of using IWBs in instruction and workplace learning and pointed out that instructors’ readiness and competence determine the effectiveness of IWB integration in classrooms. Another important finding revealed in this study suggested that instructors need to develop creative IWB lesson plans that fully utilize the advantages of IWBs in order to ensure that IWBs are effectively and continually used in adult education/training settings.

The article substantiates the relevance of the problem of implementation of interactive teaching methods in the process of future teacher’s distance (mixed) training in higher education institutions. The theoretical aspects of the outlined problem are covered through the analysis of the content of the main concepts: interactive technologies, dialogue, educational dialogue, distance education, etc. Considerable attention is paid to the presentation of the philosophical and didactic principles of future teacher training to use interactive technologies (in particular, the principles of humanism, anthropological perspective, nature conformity, educational feedback interaction, pedagogical optimism, scientific organisation of the educational dialogue, the communicative orientation of teaching, speech ethics, modelling problem situations in education. Some types of interactive learning are presented and recommended for working with students in teaching socio-humanitarian, natural science, and math disciplines. The necessity to develop future teachers’ communicative activity, critical thinking, and team interaction to conduct constructive dialogues, considering the realities of online and offline learning, is emphasised.

The purpose of the presented study is to present research conducted in the conditions of vocational education in the Slovak Republic, aimed to assess the effectiveness of the use of interactive whiteboards for teaching vocational subjects. The main method of research was the pedagogical experiment; another method used was the questionnaire method. The authors’ research findings give evidence that students obtained significantly better results in acquired knowledge and skills when interactive whiteboards were used for teaching than when taught traditionally. The authors also present recommendations for teaching practice in Slovakia.
