In this article we have tried to identify security problem for information resources in using aspect of Integrated Management Information Systems. We presented possibility of adaptation some of the methods and techniques of continuity functioning of organization in information security aspects. The main goal of our concept is connected with documents, standards and procedures management of information security.

Application of integrated computer systems in supporting business processes and economic decisions optimization is indispensable in today's enterprises. Advancement of computer technology and management methods contributed to the development of ERP systems, which can service the majority of an organization's functional areas. In the paper, Polish market of ERP systems supporting production management was described. Opis:
Industrial processes’ control systems based on PLC controllers play today a very important role in all fields of transport, including also sea transport. Construction of control systems is the field of engineering, which has been continuously evolving towards maximum simplification of system design path. Up to date the time needed for system construction from the design to commissioning had to be divided into a few stages. A mistake made in an earlier stage caused that in most cases the next stages had to be started anew. Modern software allows for quicker implementation of system design. Available debugging systems allow for defect detection at an early stage of project implementation. Application of additional protective devices will allow for remote diagnosing of the equipment state and introducing changes (depending on authorities granted). The paper presents general characteristic of integrated software for implementation of complex control systems. The issues related to the software use for programming of the visualisation environment, control computer, selection of transmission medium and transmission protocol as well as PLC controllers’ configuration, software and control have been analysed.

Współczesne przedsiębiorstwa powinny budować swoja pozycję rynkową poprzez wdrażanie zmian w wielu obszarach swojej działalności, miedzy innymi dzięki zastosowaniu zintegrowanych systemów informatycznych. Dzięki tym systemom menadżerowie mają stały wgląd do bieżących informacji, które są niezbędne do sprawnego zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wad i zalet wynikających z wdrożenia systemów MRP, MRP II i ERP w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym.
Contemporary companies should build their market position by implementing changes in many areas of their business, inter alia through the use of integrated IT systems. With these systems, managers have a constant insight into the current information that is essential for the efficient management of the business. The aim of the article is to present the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of MRP, MRP II and ERP systems in the manufacturing company.

Opis:
Examples of applications of the Industry 4.0 concept in manufacturing operations connected with processing of polymer materials were presented. Implementation of Industry 4.0 structure aims at increasing the speed of manufacturing with simultaneous decrease in the number of defective products. Such results are enabled by the use of integrated information systems coupled with automated manufacturing and quality control processes. On the basis of literature and own experience, it was found that the processing industry requires the use of such integrated systems, and further improvement of competitiveness will be difficult to achieve without implementing the developed Industry 4.0 concepts.
Przedstawiono przykłady zastosowań koncepcji Przemysł 4.0 w procesach produkcyjnych związanych z przetwórstwem tworzyw polimerowych. Implementacja struktury Przemysłu 4.0 ma na celu zwiększenie szybkości produkcji przy jednoczesnym zmniejszeniu liczby braków. Osiągnięcie takich rezultatów jest możliwe z wykorzystaniem zintegrowanych systemów informatycznych sprzężonych ze zautomatyzowanymi procesami produkcji i kontroli jakości. Na podstawie literatury i doświadczeń własnych stwierdzono, że przemysł przetwórczy wymaga stosowania tego typu zintegrowanych systemów w celu osiągnięcia dalszej poprawy konkurencyjności.

The world market constantly undergoes changes that make the companies improve the standards of their services. New technologies shorten product life cycle and put the companies, which do not apply them, at the risk of losing the market. The main tool used to develop more and more flexible approach to the production control systems, which help to gain competitive advantage, is the use of the integrated management information systems. The article attempts to present the development and evolution of a company management support systems.
W opracowaniu ukazano rozwój i ewolucję systemów wspomagania zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Omówiono informatyczne systemy zarządzania, takie jak: systemy klasy IC (Inventory Control), MRP I (Material Requirements Planning), MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) oraz ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).

Opis:
Operatorzy suwnic podczas wykonywania pracy są narażeni na oddziaływania czynne i bierne. Stanowiska pracy operatorów poddanych badaniom różniły się stopniem trudności, a więc też stopniem podatności na stres związany z wykonywanymi czynnościami. Badania przeprowadzono dla operatorów obsługujących trzy rodzaje suwnic: lejniczą, remontową i kleszczową. W badaniach wykorzystano technikę holterowską oraz testy psychofizyczne według tzw. Listy Dortmundzkiej.
Cranes operators are exposed both to active and passive influences during work. Work positions of the operators, who were put through examinations, differed in a degree of complexity, therefore also in a degree of susceptibility to stress connected with the executed activities. Examinations were carried out for operators manning three kinds of cranes: teeming crane, repair crane and ingot mould stripper crane. The Holter technique and psychophysical tests according to the so-called Dortmund List were used.

The problem of simulation in integrated management information systems is presented. At the same time, a solution has been suggested that uses modular modeling techniques in simulators in the system-dynamic presentation.

This paper presents basic information about GIS and reveals a process of creating a system application for city emergency purposes. Traditional and modified rescue processing schemes are presented and compared. The article is a voice in the contemporary discussion on the relation between industry 4.0 and ERP systems. It presents the definition, importance and evolution of the integrated information systems in the production enterprises. It also briefly describes the computer systems in the engineering aided area - CAx. The following part deals with information tools development resulting from the growing needs of their users and increasing technical infrastructure possibilities. At the end, the article presents the relationship between ERP systems and the Industry 4.0 idea and describes the challenges waiting for the information systems producers.

The article briefly characterises a model of implementing integrated information systems. Next, it describes realization effects of subsequent stages of preimplementation operations in a sample enterprise from machine industry: starting from organisational analysis of the enterprise, through a model of production process realization and a model of integrated information system, ending on the schedule of implementation realization. Finally, the effects of integrated management information system implementation and current directions of system development in an enterprise are presented.
W artykule krótko scharakteryzowano model implementacji zintegrowanych systemów informatycznych. Następnie opisano wyniki realizacji kolejnych etapów prac przedwdrożeniowych w przykładowym przedsiębiorstwie przemysłu maszynowego: począwszy od analizy organizacyjnej przedsiębiorstwa, poprzez model realizacji procesu produkcyjnego i model ZSI, na harmonogramie realizacji wdrożenia kończąc. Na zakończenie przedstawiono efekty wdrożenia ZSI oraz bieżące kierunki rozwoju systemu w przedsiębiorstwie.

The article briefly presents the methodology of the integrated information systems implementation, reviews methodologies described in literature and put into practice, and points out the limitations when they are used in small and averagesize companies. Next, the general model of the integrated information systems implementation is discussed with the careful consideration to all activities performed at the pre-implementation stages which are described in details. Finally, the main focus is on the most important factors that determine the failure of the realization of the implementation projects.

The database was created in response to the need of obtaining complex information necessary for efficient management of the Polish coastal zone. Database preparation processes are co-ordinated within the EU PHARE project focusing on harmonising such databases in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. The majority of the information concerns the geographical objects, therefore the database was generated with application of Geographic Information Systems.
