    The paper discusses problems arising in attempts to accurately represent dynamic processes of an electric arc by means of simple mathematical models. It describes the properties of the universal Pentegov model, employing any shape of static voltagecurrent characteristics of an arc. Next, it presents spectral and integral measuring methods for determining arc parameters in the Mayr, Cassie and Pentegov models of the electric arc with a forced sinusoid current circuit, with the raising static characteristics of hyperbolic-flat and hyperbolic-linear shape. The influence is discussed of the random power supply disturbances on errors of determining the mathematical model parameters.

    Zagadnienie ekspozycji elektromonterów wykonujących prace pod napięciem (PPN) na pola elektryczne i magnetyczne o częstotliwości 50 Hz jest w chwili obecnej stosunkowo dobrze rozpoznane. Zupełnie inna sytuacja ma miejsce w odniesieniu do pól elektromagnetycznych o wyższych częstotliwościach (w tym o częstotliwościach radiowych), których źródłami są wyładowania niezupełne na elementach pozostających pod wysokim napięciem. Pomiary terenowe wskazują, że natężenia tych pól przy powierzchni ciała elektromontera wykonującego PPN metodą "na potencjale" mogą znacznie przekraczać wartości dopuszczalne, określone zarówno przez przepisy krajowe, jak i przez regulacje Unii Europejskiej. Inicjacja wyładowań niezupełnych zależy od natężenia pierwotnego pola elektrycznego o częstotliwości 50 Hz przy powierzchniach elementów pod napięciem, a także od warunków atmosferycznych. W niniejszym artykule przeanalizowano rozkłady wyżej wspomnianego pola pierwotnego w strefie roboczej elektromontera, uwzględniając różne jego ustawienia, w kontekście możliwości powstawania wyładowań niezupełnych. Obliczenia wykonano, stosując własne programy numeryczne wykorzystujące metody całkowo-brzegowe.
    Nowadays, the problem of the live-line worker's exposure to the electric and magnetic fields of power frequency (50 Hz) is rather well recognised. On the other hand, the issue of the lineman's exposure to the electromagnetic fields of higher frequencies (including radio frequencies) is not examined as yet. The above-mentioned fields are excited by partial discharges on energised elements. Measurements indicate that strengths of these fields, near body of bare-hand worker, can significantly exceed admissible values imposed by Polish and European regulations. Initialization of partial discharges depends on the strength of the primary electric field of 50 Hz (at the surfaces of energised elements) as well as on the atmospheric conditions. In the paper, the primary electric field (in the bare-hand-working zone) has been analysed in the context of possibility of the partial discharge initialisation. Different lineman's positions are taken into account. The own author's software package (based on boundary-integral methods) is employed for this purpose.

    In this paper, we deal with a system of integral algebraic equations of the Hessenberg type. Using a new index definition, the existence and uniqueness of a solution to this system are studied. The well-known piecewise continuous collocation methods are used to solve this system numerically, and the convergence properties of the perturbed piecewise continuous collocation methods are investigated to obtain the order of convergence for the given numerical methods. Finally, some numerical experiments are provided to support the theoretical results.

    In this study, we develop a novel matrix collocation method based on the Laguerre polynomials to find the approximate solutions of some parabolic delay differential equations with integral terms subject to appropriate initial and boundary conditions. The method reduces the solution of the mentioned equations to the solution of a matrix equation which corresponds to system of algebraic equations with unknown Laguerre coefficients. Besides, the error analysis together with numerical results are performed to illustrate the efficiency of our method computationally.

    In this paper we present different approaches to the transformation of the second order ordinary differential equation, with respect to adequate boundary conditions, into integral equations. The obtained equations are Fredholm integral equations of the second kind. Next, a numerical method based on quadrature methods has been proposed to get an approximate solution of these equations.

    W artykule omówiono pewien sposób znajdowania postaci zamkniętej całki szczególnej w równaniu ruchu sprężystej belki Eulera obciążonej nieinercyjną siłą, poruszającą się po belce ze stałą lub zmienną prędkością. Całka szczególna opisuje drgania czysto wymuszone, a żeby otrzymać pełne rozwiązanie zadania należy jeszcze dodać całkę szczególną opisaną szeregiem. Belka spełnia warunki brzegowe swobodnego podparcia. W pracy zamieszczono również obszerny wykaz literatury związanej z tematyką referatu.
    The paper deals with vibrations of the elastic beam caused by the moving force traveling with uniform speed. The function defining the pure forced vibrations (aperiodic vibrations) is presented in a closed form. Dynamic deflection of the beam caused by moving force is compared with the static deflection of the beam subjected to the force P, and compressed by axial forces S=mv². Comparing equations (9) and (13), it can be concluded that the effect on the deflection of the speed of the moving force is the same as that of an additional compressive force 2 S=mv². Selected problems of stability of the beam on the Winkler foundation and on the Vlasov inertial foundation are discussed. One can see that the critical force of the beam on Vlasov foundation is greater than in the case of Winkler's foundation. Numerical examples are presented in the paper.

    W kontekście tematu opracowania pojawia się podstawowe pytanie: jak przedstawia się dydaktyczny wymiar poszczególnych warstw rozwoju człowieka w odniesieniu do Podstawy programowej? Powyższe pytanie implikuje pytania szczegółowe: jaki zakres zadań szkoły występuje w Podstawie programowej w aspekcie poszczególnych warstwic?; w których przedmiotach skoncentrowane są treści odpowiadające poszczególnym warstwicom?; jaki zakres celów ogólnych i szczegółowych występuje w przedmiotach nauczania w odniesieniu do warstwic?; jakiego rodzaju metody pracy wychowawczo-dydaktycznej proponowane są w Podstawie programowej w odniesieniu do poszczególnych warstwic? Odpowiedzi na powyższe pytania poszukiwano metodą analizy i syntezy materiału. Analizowanymi materiałami były: koncepcja integralnego rozwoju i wychowania oraz Podstawa programowa dla klas IV-VIII szkoły podstawowej.
    In the context of the topic of the study, the basic question arises: what is the didactic dimension of the individual layers of human development in relation to the Core curriculum? The above question implies specific questions: what is the scope of the school's tasks in terms of individual contours in the core curriculum?; in which subjects are the content of the individual contours concentrated?; what is the scope of general and specific objectives in teaching subjects with respect to contours?; what kind of educational and didactic work method are proposed in relation to particular contours in the core curriculum? Answers to the above questions were searched for by means of material analysis and synthesis. The analyzed materials were: the concept of integral development and upbringing and the core curriculum for grades IV-VIII of the elementary school.

    Celem artykułu autorka uczyniła próbę wydobycia ponadczasowej wartości integralnej formacji według Edmunda Bojanowskiego. W jego działalności szuka tego, co jest istotne dla współczesnych pokoleń pragnących zachować w pamięci jego edukacyjną i charyzmatyczną posługę. Przywołując to, co składa się na wartość opartej na wychowaniu formacji integralnej, odniosła się do powołanego przez Bojanowskiego Zgromadzenia Służebniczek Najświętszej Maryi Panny Niepokalanie Poczętej. Analizując ważne dla formacji zapisy I Reguły zakonnej opublikowanej 150 lat temu, autorka przedstawiła pojęcie formacji, jej zasadnicze wymiary i wybrane sposoby realizacji. Dopełnieniem analizy materiału źródłowego, czyli zasadniczo Reguły, było odniesienie się do nauczania Pawła VI i Jana Pawła II zawartego w posynodalnych adhortacjach apostolskich dotyczących formacji konsekrowanych i ich misji we współczesnym świecie. Publikację kończą wnioski i spostrzeżenia o charakterze pedagogicznym. Z pozycji teoretyka wychowania autorka w syntetyczny sposób ukazuje związek formacji z integralnym wychowaniem, osobą formatora i zadaniami ciążącymi na uczestnikach procesu formacyjnego. Zabieg ten pozwolił wydobyć i ukazać ponadczasowy walor wyjątkowego dziedzictwa edukacyjnego i formacyjnego bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego, tkwiący w umiejętnym czytaniu znaków czasu, wielkim realizmie i otwartości na potrzeby społeczne.
    The author makes an attempt to extract the timeless value of an integral formation according to Edmund Bojanowski. At the starting point, she assumed that the “formation” without the necessary help of “education” oriented towards “formation,” in Bojanowski's work, where education and formation are complementary, seeks what is important for modern generations wishing to preserve the memory of his educational and charismatic ministry. Recalling what constitutes a value base on the upbringing of integral formation, the Congregation of the Sisters of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Conception, was called by the Bojanowski Congregation. By analysing the important provisions for the formation of the Rule I published 150 years ago, the author reveals the concept of formation, its essential dimensions and the chosen ways of realization. Completion of the analysis of the source material, which was essentially the First Rule of the Assembly, was to refer to the teaching of Paul VI and John Paul II in post-synodal apostolic exhortations of consecrated formation and their mission in the modern world. The publication ends with conclusions and observations of pedagogical character. From the position of theoretical education, the author in a synthetic way shows the relationship of formation with an integral upbringing, the person who is the formator, and the tasks that take place on the participants of the formation process. Such presented subject allowed to bring out and reveals the timeless value of the unique educational and formation heritage of Bl. Edmund Bojanowski, skilled in reading the signs of time, great realism and openness to social needs.
