Opis:
We obtain a method to compute effective first integrals by combining Noether's principle with the Kozlov-Kolesnikov integrability theorem. A sufficient condition for the integrability by quadratures of optimal control problems with controls taking values on open sets is obtained. We illustrate our approach on some problems taken from the literature. An alternative proof of the integrability of the sub-Riemannian nilpotent Lie group of type (2,3,5) is also given.

We report an exact bright and dark soliton solution to the nonlinear evolution equation derived by MOSES and WISE (Phys. Rev. Lett. 97, 2006, 073903) for cascaded quadratic media beyond the slowly varying envelope approximations. The integrability aspects of the model are addressed. The travelling wave hypothesis as well as the ansatz method are employed to obtain an exact 1-soliton solution. Both bright and dark soliton solutions are obtained. The corresponding constraint conditions are obtained in order for the soliton solutions to exist.

Opis:
We study the relationship between the solutions of stationary integrable partial and ordinary differential equations and coefficients of the second-order ordinary differen¬tial equations invariant with respect to one-parameter Lie group. The classical symmetry method is applied. We prove that if the coefficients of ordinary differential equation satisfy the stationary integrable partial differential equation with two independent variables then the ordinary differential equation is integrable by quadratures. If special solutions of integrable partial differential equations are chosen, then the coefficients satisfy the stationary KdV equations. It was shown that the Ermakov equation belong to a class of these equations. In the framework of the approach we obtained the similar results for generalized Riccati equations. By using operator of invariant differentiation we describe a class of higher order ordinary differential equations for which the group-theoretical method enables us to reduce the order of ordinary differential equation.

A generalization of this result concerning L¹-convergence is also established. Extensions of these results to double series of orthogonal functions are also considered. These results can be extended to n-dimensional case. The aforementioned results generalize work of Balashov [1], Boas [2], Chen [3,4,5], Marzuq [9], Móricz [11], Móricz-Schipp-Wade [14], and Young [16].

Opis:
This paper presents the method of particular solution for solving the Riccati equation and linear homogenous equations of second and third order, as well as its certain application to linear homogenous equations of n-th order. The conditions of effective integrability for equations (0.1) and (0.2) are expressed in symbolic (operator) form and also for equation (0.3) in fully expanded form. There have been proved three theorems which state the following: for any subclass of differential equations of the form (0.1), (0.2), (0.3), if there are known, respectively: a particular solution \(y_0\), a particular solution u 0 , two linearly independent particular solutions \(u_1 , u_2\), then it is possible to construct superclasses of differential equations of the given class, using classes cited in [6, 7, 8, 9]. Moreover, one may obtain their effectively integrable generalizations. Numerous examples provided illustrate the above results. The article presents also a practical way of applying the method of particular solution to linear equations of n-th order. This method enables us to integrate more general equations than those described in [4, 5, 14] of the form (0.1), (0.2), (0.3), (0.4) for which the particular solutions are cited therein.
