Opis:: The issue of protection of intellectual property has become an extremely important area that is in focus, not only within the EU but also around the world and has become a monitored scientific, but also pedagogic field. Deservedly the attention is paid to it like this from the legal practice, as well as from the legal theory. In our contribution we bring selected aspects of current legislation of the sector of private law in general, which are the basic orientation in this issue.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiona została koncepcja turystyki zrównoważonej jako szansy na ochronę niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego. Turystyka zrównoważona jest w założeniu ulepszoną formą turystyki z jednej strony pozytywnie oddziałującą na dziedzictwo niematerialne, a z drugiej ograniczającą jej negatywny wymiar, który jest zagrożeniem. Opracowanie zostało oparte na przykładach zrównoważonych praktyk związanych z turystyką, dotyczących polskich tradycji wpisanych na Listę reprezentatywną niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego ludzkości UNESCO. To pierwsze tego typu opracowanie w literaturze, łączące podbudowę teoretyczną koncepcji zagrożeń dziedzictwa niematerialnego i turystyki zrównoważonej z inwentaryzacją stanu faktycznego. Opracowanie jest wartościowe ze względu na źródła danych, którymi w przypadku tradycji niematerialnych byli sami jej depozytariusze, osoby czynnie je kultywujące, działające w ramach organizacji i stowarzyszeń.
The article explores the concept of sustainable tourism as an opportunity to protect intangible cultural heritage. Sustainable tourism is understood as an improved form of tourism which, on the one hand, positively impacts intangible heritage, and on the other hand, decreases its negative dimension that constitutes a threat. The study was based on examples of sustainable tourism practices around Polish traditions included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This is the first study of its kind in the literature, combining the theoretical framework of the concept of threats to intangible heritage and sustainable tourism with an evidence-based inventory of the current status. The study is valuable because of the sources of data, which, in the case of intangible traditions, were the bearers of heritage themselves, as well as people actively cultivating traditions who operate within organisations and societies.
