    Opis:
    The article is an attempt to organise the knowledge about the theory and practice of feedback and to indicate it as a tool to support, organise and discipline the process of creative work and artistic education. The author embeds her reflections on feedback in two contexts. One is that of interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of psychology, sociology, education, and the theory and practice of business; the other is that of lived knowledge resulting from following the path of university and artistic education in Poland. Referring to her own work and the experiences of other creators, she constructs an open selection of her own reflections, recommendations and directions for the development of feedback, both in the perspectives of Polish theatre pedagogy and individual artistic practice.

    This piece of work is an attempt, grounded in artistic practice, to describe several key aspects of the mechanisms of hierarchy, power and violence in Polish theatre taking into account the perspective of a woman director. These mechanisms are currently the subject of theoretical studies and discussions within the community. In this paper I would like to propose a look “from the inside.” There is a historical and theoretical part followed by an attempt to analyse the mechanisms of power-sharing in theatre based on a discussion on competitions for the position of theatre manager, taking into consideration the criteria that discriminated against women for years, and the unspoken assumptions. This is followed by a self-reflection on the evolution of the author’s own working methods as a director with almost twenty years of artistic experience, and finally a description of the hierarchical relationships between an actress, a director and a manager, and of the political mechanisms involved. The second part of the paper is empirical in nature and is based primarily on the author’s experience of working at the Teatr Polski in Warsaw as well as her active participation in professional and public debate. It also describes the tension between the possibility of individual professional success and the permanence of anachronistic and violent systemic mechanisms of functioning of the institution of theatre.

    This paper seeks to explain the potential impact of new forms of media accountability in the digital age (i.e. media blogs and media criticism via Twitter and Facebook), as well as the failure of many traditional instruments of media self-regulation (i.e. press councils and media journalism) from a theoretical perspective. North’s theory of institutions will be employed to analyze why traditional instruments of media self-regulation often cannot successfully monitor and sanction deviation from professional standards in journalism. Drawing on institutional economics, a media accountability model including the audience in the digital age will be developed as an alternative. Th is audienceinclusive model may prove more effective in the long term, as ‘costs of complaint’ sink, and the utility function of the new ‘digital media critics’ may result in a more effective media criticism. The paper concludes with implications for media policy.

    Niniejszy artykuł poświęcono współczesnym przeobrażeniom procesu literackiego i samej literatury, odbieranych przez krytykę literacką w kategoriach schyłku literatury (teza „u nas nie ma literatury” jako przeświadczenie o upadku tej dziedziny sztuki). Artykuł przedstawia wybrane refleksje na temat omawianego procesu, prezentowane na łamach tzw. tołstych żurnałow (ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem stanowiska znanej rosyjskiej krytyczki Anny Kuzniecowej), oraz pogląd autorki pracyna ogólny, przejściowy stan rosyjskiej literatury współczesnej.
    The article is devoted to modern reconfigurations of the literary process and literature (as a kind of art), experienced in literary criticism as the decline of literature (the thesis “we have no literature” as a statement of the degradation of an art form). The article provides an overview of reflection on this process on Russian “thick journals” (with the emphasis on the position of the well-known Russian critic Anna Kuznetsova), as well as the author’s view on the general transitional state of Russian modern literature.

    Artykuł jest krytycznym spojrzeniem na dzisiejszy Kościół rzymskokatolicki w Polsce. Podjęto w nim próbę wskazania historycznych uwarunkowań (i roli w nich Kościoła rzymskokatolickiego) jako bardzo prawdopodobne przyczyny stanu i kształtu dzisiejszego Kościoła rzymskokatolickiego w Polsce, w tym jakości wiary oraz charakteru polskiego katolicyzmu. Jest to studium historyczno-teologiczno-socjologiczne, którego metodologia oparta jest na krytycznej analizie historycznej: przyczynowo-skutkowej. W analizie tej wykorzystano publikacje naukowe i artykuły prasowe. Uwzględniono też różne opinie naukowców, publicystów, hierarchów kościelnych i księży oraz dziennikarzy na temat dzisiejszego Kościoła w Polsce.
    The article is a critical look at the Roman Catholic Church in Poland. It is an attempt at indicating that the historical conditions of Poland (and the role of the Roman Catholic Church in them) are likely to be strong reasons for the state and shape of the present Roman Catholic Church in Poland, including quality of faith and the character of Polish Catholicism. It is a historical, theological and sociological study, the methodology of which is based on a historical (cause and effect) critical analysis. In this analysis, scientific publicationsand press articles have been used. Different opinions on the present Church in Poland presented by academics, feature writers, Church hierarchs, priests and journalists have been taken into consideration.
