Audiodeskrypcja to jedna z innowacyjnych technik medialnych, która umożliwia odbiór tekstów kultury wizualnej przez osoby niewidzące lub osoby słabowidzące. Jest efektywnym narzędziem, dzięki któremu osoby niepełnosprawne mogą doświadczać treści dotychczas niedostępnych. Z tych powodów audiodeskrypcja stanowi przedmiot wzmożonego zainteresowania edukacji polisensorycznej. Tekst przedstawia podstawowe ustalenia o audiodeskrypcji oraz prezentuje możliwości wykorzystania jej w praktyce szkolnej na lekcjach języka polskiego. Wskazane w artykule materiały z audiodeskrypcją są środkami dydaktycznymi o ogromnym potencjale edukacyjnym, które proponują uczniom niepełnosprawnym fascynującą podróż przez świat różnych znaków.
The audio description is one of the innovative media technologies, which allows to receive texts visual culture by the persons blind or the people low vision. Is an effective tool through which people with disabilities may experience the contents not yet available. For these reasons, the audio description is the subject of the increased interest in the multisensory education. The text presents the basic findings about the audio description and presents the possibilities of using it in school practice, on the lessons of the Polish language. Indicated in article the audio description’s materials are the teaching resources about the huge potential of education that the students with the disabilities have a fascinating journey through the world of different signs.

Jolanta Gałecka proposes a slightly different view on poverty – as a limiting factor for the circumstances related to the compulsory nature of education, taken for granted. Giving some examples of innovative educational projects from her own experience, she describes in detail one of the most interesting projects in an Indian slum that she had the opportunity to observe. In this project, over 10 million children had the opportunity to experience the joy of reading. They were often children who did not go to school only a few months ago. In environments where families cannot afford to 'waste' a few hours a day at school – which is exactly how their parents often perceive this time, going to school is not always the norm. During the 6 or 8 hours that would be spent in school, you can earn a few cents, which is often more important than a boring and "who-knows-what-for" school education. In such conditions, the assumptions, indisputable in the developed countries, such as compulsory education, universal usefulness or the necessity of education, and the general acceptance of the obviousness of school, disappear. If someone wants to have children go to school, he or she has to look at school from a completely different perspective – look at the children, their needs and the environment from which they come. As a result, some projects are being created that are also worth imitating in European schools. One of them is the pedagogical approach of Geeta Dharmarajan, the founder of the Katha organization, invented over 30 years ago and developed in the student community and in cooperation with it. Katha has been teaching children the joy of reading, the joy of development and the joy of being in school for 33 years. The joy of reading, or rather the will to provide it to all the children in India, is a consistently implemented keynote of all activities carried out by Geeta. The real key to success, however, was not to provide books (Katha has already published over 300 different titles), but to understand the needs of local communities and work closely with them.

This article is devoted to innovative learning technology, namely web quest, an effective learning tool that promotes the cognitive activity of applicants for higher medical educational institutions, focused on today’s challenges related to forming an independent, creative, competent personality. The main attention is paid to using quests in studying chemical disciplines in distance learning. The purpose of the study is to identify the main aspects of web quests’ effectiveness in the training of future medical professionals, revealing the main stages of the organisation. Specific examples of quests are also given from my own practical experience. An analysis of recent publications on this issue was carried out, and as a result, we argue that scientific sources do not sufficiently cover tuse of web quests in the study of chemical disciplines in higher medical education institutions, which is the impetus for the study. The article presents the stages of organising quests for students in the discipline “Medical Chemistry”, which include both the actual creation of a blog (initial, thematic, address, final), as well as the choice of topic, goals, tasks, division of responsibilities between participants and publication of results during distance learning (online conferences, videos, projects, booklets, commercials, prevention essays). It is presented an analysis of a survey of teachers and students on the effectiveness of the introduction of this technology in the training of future medical professionals. The analysis of the results shows that web quests meet modern requirements for implementing the educational process in medical and educational institutions and contribute to acquiring professional competence. Teachers and students who participated in the survey noted that web quests are an effective modern technology that promotes motivation, interest in the subject and chosen profession, and the formation of key competencies that must have a modern medical professional to be competitive. Specific examples of involving students in web quests on the subject of “Medical Chemistry” during research activities in the scientific section of Cherkasy Medical Academy.

Our study contributes to a limited body of literature and aims to examine the type and frequency of linkages between creative industries and higher education institutions (HEIs). The objective of our study is to investigate the extent to which various types of linkages contribute to enhanced innovative capabilities in creative industries. Based on a qualitative research design and a case study carried out in a peripheral south-western Norwegian county, our empirical analysis shows that HEIs are generally not very relevant partners and that other actors are mainly involved in innovation dynamics. As clarified and discussed in the paper, this finding largely depends on some specific characteristics of HEIs, the form of knowledge primarily employed by creative firms (symbolic knowledge base), and the cultural divergence between the two spheres.

Celem artykułu jest eksploracja i identyfikacja kategorii doświadczeń uczestników procesu dydaktycznego na podstawie innowacyjnego modelu dydaktycznego. Artykuł został przygotowany na podstawie badania jakościowego uczestników procesów dydaktycznych, łączących wykłady i ćwiczenia z pracami studentów nad wyzwaniami projektowymi sformułowanymi przez przedsiębiorstwa współpracujące w projekcie pt. Innowacje rynkowe – projektowanie i wdrażanie. W badaniu wykorzystano technikę krytycznych przypadków (critical incident technique - CIT).
The aim of the article is to explore and identify the categories of experiences of the students that participate in the innovative didactic process. The authors prepared the article on the basis of a qualitative study. The informants were the participants in the innovative didactic processes in which lectures, exercises and students’ work on project challenges formulated by enterprises cooperating in the project “Market innovations - design and implementation” were combined. The study used the critical incident technique (CIT).
Цель статьи – изучить и выявить категории опыта участников дидактиче- ского процесса на основе инновационной дидактической модели. Статья под- готовлена на основе качественного обследования участников дидактических процессов, объединяющих лекции и упражнения с работами студентов по проектным вызовам, сформулированным предприятиями, сотрудничающими в проекте «Рыночные инновации – проектирование и внедрение». В обсле- довании использовали технику критических событий (англ. critical incident technique, CIT).

The article is dedicated to the issue of developing skills and acquiring economic knowledge in early school-age children, in particular in the field of financial education. The concept of the innovative educational tool “I Think, Decide, Act-finances for the youngest” and the process of testing this didactic material for two and half years in grades 1–3 of primary schools in Poland were presented. The purpose of the above mentioned tool is to provide children with cognitive and social educational situations for independent and creative activity that requires solving economic, financial and social problems. The main research methods were a parallel group experiment and an interview with teachers. The results of studies comparing the level of knowledge and financial-mathematical skills of children in the pretest and post test indicate a statistically significant increase in the level in experimental group in comparison with the control one. The teachers’ opinions on the application of the innovative tool in school practice show its didactic and educational value, with a particular emphasis on the quality of proposed mathematical open-ended problems related to the practical context.

Rozwój technologii oraz rozwiązań bazujących na sztucznej inteligencji daje szansę pomocy nauczycielom i uczniom w rozwoju i poprawianiu wyników nauczania i uczenia się. Wszystko wskazuje na to, że narzędzia takie jak ChatGPT wkrótce staną się akceptowaną częścią zestawu narzędzi technologicznych. Musimy tylko nauczyć się, jak bezpiecznie i optymalnie z nich korzystać. Stosowanie technologii cyfrowej w edukacji matematycznej na poziomie akademickim jest ogromnym wyzwaniem. Z jednej strony mamy do dyspozycji wiele narzędzi, z których często sprawniej korzystają uczący się niż nauczyciele, a z drugiej strony deficyty wiedzy i umiejętności matematycznych kandydatów na studia wymagają wprowadzania wielu zmian w programach realizowanych w czasie zajęć. W przypadku edukacji matematycznej na kierunkach ścisłych i technicznych powinno to skłaniać do działań związanych z analizą stosowanych metod edukacyjnych oraz do wypracowania efektów uczenia się pozwalających studentom nie tylko na sprawne poruszanie się w cyfrowym świecie, ale i na jego współtworzenie. W artykule przedstawiono wybrane wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych wśród studentów pierwszego roku studiów inżynierskich związanych z wykorzystywaniem aplikacji i oprogramowania wspierającego edukację matematyczną. Pokazano również przykłady e-technologii stosowanych do uczenia się i rozwiązywania zadań, wskazano na ich możliwości oraz zagrożenia, jakie mogą stwarzać. Zasygnalizowano też konieczność modyfikacji programów i metod nauczania matematyki na poziomie akademickim pozwalających studentom na osiąganie efektów uczenia się z optymalnym wykorzystaniem technologii.
The development of technologies and solutions based on artificial intelligence offers an opportunity to help teachers and students develop and improve teaching and learning outcomes. There are many indications that software such as ChatGPT will soon become an accepted part of the technological toolset used by math teachers and students - we just need to learn how to use them safely and optimally. Integrating the use of digital technology into the teaching of mathematics at the academic level is a huge challenge. On the one hand, we have many tools at our disposal, which are often used more effectively by learners than teachers, on the other hand, shortcomings in knowledge and mathematical skills of candidates for studies require many changes in the curricula implemented in the classes. In the case of mathematics education at technical universities, this should encourage activities related to an in-depth analysis of the teaching methods used and the development of learning outcomes that will allow students not only to navigate efficiently in the digital world, but also to participate in its creation. The article presents the results of a survey conducted among first-year engineering students related to the use of applications and software supporting mathematics education. Examples of e-technologies used for learning and solving tasks by students were also shown, and certain threats and possibilities of their use were indicated. The need to modify programs and methods of teaching mathematics at the academic level was also signaled, to allow students to achieve learning outcomes with the optimal use of technology.

Waga podejmowanego tematu jest ściśle powiązana z sytuacją, z jaką przyszło się nam zmierzyć w czasie pandemii COVID-19 i z zapotrzebowaniem na nowe rozwiązania w edukacji realizowanej z zasady poza murami szkół i uczelni za pomocą rozmaitych from organizacyjnych oraz nowatorskich metod i technicznych środków przekazu informacji.
This paper presents the results of survey research devoted to the issue of online education and innovative teachers’ behaviors in the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic (March-June 2020) in Poland. The research was conducted by means of the author's online survey among primary and secondary school teachers as part of the Teacher Innovative Work and Learning in Poland project. The research has shown that teachers reveal the need for innovative activities, declare the possi- bility to apply the ideas they have developed, and engage in innovative work in their schools. However, teachers are rarely involved in the promotion of innovative ideas in their schools, and they do not try to get the necessary social and organisational support to implement their ideas. The results of the study lead to conclusions about innovation, teacher education, support for teachers in their work and ways of exam- ining teachers.

ABSTRACT Concept: Drawing is the foundation of plastic arts. The drawing class is one of the art education fields where students focus on observation, questioning, research and developing imagination. It can be seen that artists too are presenting different premises after drawing, which is generally considered as a preliminary to a work of art, being acknowledged as art by itself. Aim: The point of origin of this research is the inability of the students of sculpture departments to fully comprehend the importance of drawing with regard to the creating of a sculpture. The principal purpose is the explaining of the applied studies that are specifically designed to develop individual perspectives, drawing skills, personal lines and creativity of the students and the alternative methods of drawing which yield positive result. Methods: Instead of repeating the knowledge that students obtained via traditional methods, studies are approached where they can reinterpret and develop their knowledge in respect of the time, technique, perception etc. Drawings that are presented in line with the main purpose via innovative approaches are evaluated with a qualitative research. Conclusions: After briefly mentioning education and art education in this study, methods applied with an innovative approach in sculpture design courses are explained through selected examples. At the end of the studies, it was seen that the students were more active, eager to learn, courageous, questioning and every time they are applied, methods are resulted positively.

Rozważania podjęte w artykule dotyczą związków akademickich oraz Szkolnych Klubów Europejskich (Euroklubów) jako ośrodków kształtowania tożsamości międzykulturowej oraz wprowadzania innowacyjnych technologii w warunkach pracy państwowych instytucji szkolnictwa średniego. Artykuł ukazuje, że Szkolne Kluby Europejskie oddziałują na formowanie osobistego nastawienia uczniów szkoły średniej do współczesnego życia i społeczeństwa, ich postawy życiowej i obywatelskiej. Eurokluby pomagają również uczniom stwarzać warunki do odkrywania swoich możliwości samoedukacyjnych, samooceny i samorealizacji oraz zapewniają tworzenie świadomości europejskiej i harmonijnie rozwijanej osobowości, w kontekście europejskiego wymiaru edukacji.
In the article, students’ associations called School European Clubs (Euroclubs) were taken into consideration as the centres of forming the intercultural personality and introducing innovative technologies in the conditions of working in state secondary education establishments. The authors reveal the fact that School European Clubs or Euroclubs have influence on the formation of secondary school students’ personal attitude towards modern life and society, their standpoint in life, as well as their civic attitude. They also help students to create conditions for revealing the potentialities of self-knowledge, self-assessment and self-fulfillment, they ensure the forming of European consciousness and harmoniously developed personality in the context of European dimension in education.

The purpose of this article is to investigate peculiarities of educational potential investment in the context of Ukraine's population. This paper focuses on the analysis of the growth rate of total education expenditure, the tendency of changes of total education expenditure indicators in Ukraine in 20072015. This paper aims at comparing the cost structure according to financing agents and sources. We also analyse the number and enrolment of students in higher educational establishments according to state financing. Moreover, this paper defines the basic problems of the current system of education financing in Ukraine and the ways of its elimination.
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zbadanie cech edukacyjnego potencjału inwestycji w kontekście ludności Ukrainy. Artykuł poświęcony jest analizie tempa wzrostu całkowitych wydatków na edukację i tendencji zmiany zagregowanych wskaźników wydatków na edukację w Ukrainie w latach 20072015. Przedstawiono strukturę kosztów finansowania oraz przeanalizowano ilość studentów w uczelniach wyższych, zgodnie z państwowym finansowaniem. Opis:
Jerzy world-famous Grotowski theatre director the anthropologist of the culture and the teacher as the author of the idea of the entire-practical education. In his life and the artistic work Jerzy Grotowski repeatedly brought up pedagogic topics. In years -70 of the 20th century, carried out the cycle of workshops addressed to adults being aimed for them experiencing not popular situations other than in the everyday life. He realized workshops of the Active Culture. He initiated the development of the animation of the culture and an amateur artistic movement of adults. His life and work was following the example of a demanding teacher. He regarded entire lives of the man as the process of the incessant development and self-improvements. His work constitutes inspiration for the adult education and a prehistory of cultural animation.

Opis:
The article is theoretical and analytical in nature and aims to identify the manifestations of social innovations in e-learning education at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study focuses on the need for academics to use innovative (novel) distance learning tools. In addition, an attempt was made to assess the impact of selected tools on the development of new competencies among students. In order to achieve this goal, a proprietary online questionnaire was developed and free interviews were conducted with students. The survey was created in MS Forms application. A total of 151 students (second year) studying at the Faculty of Production Engineering of the Wroclaw University of Economics were surveyed. The survey period was in the summer semester 2020/2021. The study showed that the use of virtual tools contributed to the development of additional skills among students, such as teamwork and collaboration skills or creativity.

W tekście zaprezentowano ideę nowatorskich działań z zakresu edukacji plastycznej, rozwijanych w latach 80. przez członków grupy pARTner. Proponowane przez nich działania, respektując postulaty rozwijanych wówczas w Polsce koncepcji wyrosłych na gruncie wychowania estetycznego znacznie wykraczały poza instytucjonalne formy zajęć plastycznych. Różnice dotyczyły również stawianych im celów i poglądów na rolę procesu twórczego w edukacji. Poprzedzająca te rozważania analiza statusu sztuki we współczesnej teorii wychowania, tworzy teoretyczny kontekst dla prezentowanego zagadnienia.
The article presents the idea of innovative actions in the field of artistic education, which were developed in the eighties in the twentieth century by members of the pARTner group. Proposed actions, while respecting demands developed the concept in Poland grown on the basis of aesthetic education, went beyond institutional forms of art classes. Differences also focused on its objectives and views on the role of the creative process in education. Analysis of the status of art in the contemporary theory of aesthetic education, which preceded these considerations, create the theoretical framework for the presented problem.

The article highlights innovative curricula while training future American medical specialists in the 21st century to develop the necessary professional competences and correspond to reality. „The Undergraduate Medical Education for the 21st Century” program led to numerous innovative curricula to evolve communication skills, leadership, and teamwork. The Pfeifer curriculum dealt with reducing training time and enhanced preparation for the „Step” exams. Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University created and implemented the Schwartz Communication Sessions. In the context of the Introduction to Clinical Medicine (ICM) HST 200 course, medical students at Harvard University-MIT improved their professional communication skills.
