    W artykule postuluje się zmianę paradygmatu myślenia o innowacyjności. U podstaw leży założenie, że dominujące obecnie technocentryczne podejście do innowacyjności wyrasta z kreatywności indywidualistycznej. Sprawia, że innowacyjny potencjał usieciowionej gospodarki i społeczeństwa informacyjnego nie jest należycie wykorzystywany, dla harmonizowania rozwoju technologii z rozwojem pozostałych sfer bytu ludzkiego. Zdaniem autorki upowszechnienie kompetencji innowacyjnych jest ograniczone opóźnieniami w dostosowaniach instytucjonalnych do wyzwań i zagrożeń globalizacji liberalizacji i technocentrycznej kultury epoki informacjonizmu. Przezwyciężeniu tych zagrożeń mogłoby służyć zintegrowane podejście do innowacyjności, które dowartościowuje podmiotową rolę jednostki w procesie innowacyjnym. W tym też kontekście ujmuje instytucje jako podsystem współzależnych kompleksów i sił napędowych lub barier zachowań innowacyjnych. Takie podejście otwiera perspektywę uczynienia z innowacyjności uniwersalnej kompetencji i wykorzystywanie jej w upowszechnianiu postępu cywilizacyjnego.
    The article postulates a change in the paradigm of thinking of innovativeness. The very basic assumption relies on a currently dominating technocentric approach to innovativeness that arises from individualistic creativity. Consequently, the innovative potential of network economy and information society is not properly used for harmonising technology development along with other walks of human life. The author reckons that popularisation of innovative competences is limited to delays in institutional adjustments to challenges and threats to globalization, liberalization and technocentric culture of the era of informationism. In order to overcome such threats it is useful to adopt an integrated approach towards innovativeness which appreciates the subjective aspect of an individual within an innovative process. As a result, the author perceives institutions as the subsystem of correlated complexes and drive forces or barriers to innovative behaviours. Such an approach is posed by a perspective of making innovativeness a universal competence and its application in popularising civilisation development.

    Purpose – to analyze the impact of intercultural communication on the professional innovative activity, to assess the possibility of developing of the professional competencies to innovative activity through intercultural communication. Methods: hypothetical-deductive method, formalization, generalization, classification, systematization, extrapolation. Results. The bilateral relationship between intercultural communication and innovative activity is grounded. A person, who is more capable of cross-cultural communication, is more capable of innovative activity too, he / she is more opened, flexible, adaptive and creative. It is therefore important to develop, in the professional training of future specialists, the intercultural competence - the ability to cross-cultural contacts: to teach them to recognize cultural diversity not as an obstacle but as a positive diversity, as a source of new potentially useful information. For future professionals of innovative activity, it’s even more important than for others. The process of innovations’ working out often deals with problems of creating something new, of forming of new ideas. And any variety can help, because another person is a treasure trove of new points of view. Intercultural communication can be a source of new ideas, new knowledge and skills, new professional competences, as well as a new channel to promote an innovative product to different target groups.

    The paper presents the results of empirical studies performed in order to identify organisational competencies of innovative enterprises in different countries. The study covered 476 innovative enterprises employing at least 10 people, located in five countries: Poland, USA, Thailand, Austria, and Ukraine, with the use of a specially developed questionnaire. Finally, the work presents some recommendations for managers, concerning the directions of changes that should be made in the approaches to development of organisational competencies.

    Współczesna gospodarka, jej nieustanny rozwój, globalizacja i zmienność oczekiwań klientów wymagają od przedsiębiorstw szczególnego podejścia do wdrażania nowych produktów. Badania empiryczne zrealizowano w 2016 r. w siedzibie przedsiębiorstwa Spiropharm S.A. Analiza wyników badań umożliwiła zaproponowanie rekomendacji dla rozwoju przedsięwzięcia.
    Modern economy, its permanent development, globalization, clients’ ever-changing expectations, require a particular approach towards the implementation of new products by companies. The introduction and management of a new product requires particular competences on the part of the entrepreneur, and involvement of the whole team in the process. The objective of the present paper is to identify factors influencing the implementation and realisation of an innovative product. Empirical studies were conducted in 2016 in the premises of Spiropharm. The analysis of research results enabled the formulation of recommendations for the development of the company.

    The article deals with the problem of the influence of the innovative educational environment of the university on the development of digital STEM competences in the process of training teachers of the new formation. It is determined that the innovative educational environment of the university consists of organisational, educational, methodological, and technological and information resources, the purpose of which is to create conditions for the development of digital STEM competences of teachers. The main aspects of introduction and development of STEM education in different countries of the world are analysed. Particular attention is paid to the functioning of the STEM Centre, which is the basis of the innovative educational environment of the pedagogical university. The practical experience in introduction of STEM education at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University is summarised. The peculiarities of the influence of the innovative educational environment of the university on the development of digital STEM competences are explored.
    Artykuł dotyczy kwestii wpływu uniwersyteckiego innowacyjnego środowiska edukacyjnego na rozwijanie cyfrowych kompetencji STEM (kompetencji cyfrowych z zakresu nauki, technolo-gii, inżynierii i matematyki) w procesie szkolenia nowego pokolenia nauczycieli. Określono, że innowacyjne środowisko edukacyjne uniwersytetu składa się z zasobów organizacyjnych, eduka-cyjnych, metodologicznych, technologicznych i informacyjnych. Celem takiego środowiska jest rozwój cyfrowych kompetencji STEM u nauczycieli. Zanalizowano główne aspekty wprowadzenia i rozwoju kompetencji STEM w edukacji w różnych krajach świata. Zwrócono szczególną uwagęna funkcjonowanie centrum STEM, które jest podstawą innowacyjnego środowiska edukacyjnego uniwersytetu pedagogicznego. Dokonano podsumowania praktycznego doświadczenia we wprowa-dzaniu edukacji o profilu naukowym, technicznym, inżynieryjnym i matematycznym (STEM) na Narodowym Uniwersytecie Pedagogicznym im. Wołodymyra Hnatiuka w Tarnopolu na Ukrainie. Zbadano szczególne aspekty wpływu innowacyjnego środowiska edukacyjnego Uniwersytetu na rozwój cyfrowych kompetencji STEM.

    The article investigates the issues of training specialists in the petroleum industry ready to work in interdisciplinary teams and designing projects. Petroleum engineering interdisciplinarity can ensure not only a competitive position of a team, country’s economy in the international division of labour, but also helps to win the global competition in the relevant markets of the world, therefore, interdisciplinarity really becomes a source of wealth. At the same time, we must distinguish between interdisciplinarity in its formal representation, when the result of the joint work of specialists in several research fields will be the sum of the result of their work, but also when, due to the synergistic effect, the result may be more significant. In other words, the result that can be obtained in this case can never be obtained as a result of the activity of one of the participants in an interdisciplinary team. Most often, this effect is achieved by means of mutual intersection and application of methods, tools, approaches used by the representatives of different disciplines, science, trade. So, organization of implementation of effective interdisciplinary projects in science, engineering, technology or education requires not only the involvement of specialists from various fields of activity, but also planning a synergistic effect, as a kind of guarantee of obtaining fundamentally new solutions and results that, under certain circumstances, can ensure a victory in competition in the relevant markets.
    Artykuł poświęcony jest badaniom zagadnień niezbędnych do przygotowania specjalistów dla przemysłu naftowego i do pracy w międzyprzedmiotowych zespołach oraz planowania projektów. Międzyprzedmiotowość w inżynierii naftowej może gwarantować nie tylko pozycję konkurencyjną w zespołach czy w gospodarce państwa w międzynarodowym podziale pracy, ale może pomóc zwyciężyć w konkurencji globalnej na rynkach świata. Oznacza to, że międzyprzedmiotowość może stać się podstawą dobrobytu. Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie międzyprzedmiotowości i jej znaczenia w przypadku podjęcia badań przez specjalistów z różnych dziedzin. Przez połączenie rezultatów pracy przedstawicieli nauki i gospodarki, w wyniku synergii, można uzyskać przewagę ekonomiczną. Wprowadzanie zatem efektywnych, międzyprzedmiotowych projektów w nauce, inżynierii, technologiach czy oświacie, połączenie wysiłków przedstawicieli różnych stref działalności, oraz planowanie efektu synergetycznego jako swego rodzaju gwarancji uzyskania fundamentalnie nowych rozwiązań w sprzyjających okolicznościach może zapewnić sukces na odpowiednich rynkach.
