    One of the fundamentals of development in each European country in the northeast is the proper transport infrastructure. Despite of the enormous increase in traffic on all sorts of roads, the modernization and building of new transport corridors lags. An essential step to change this situation will be the creation of a complex system of the development of communication connections and infrastructure in the region. This will be possible with a large share of the EU funds as well as the determination of individual countries of the north-east.

    The discussion of the Article focuses on new information and communication technologies and their impact on the functioning of modern States and information societies and on technological threats to the information security of the State. The main focus of the study is the domestic legal regulation on the concept of information and communication infrastructure of the State and the normative requirements and standards of its security, as well as ananalysis of the views of the local science of various disciplines of knowledge in the area of information security of the State.

    Reliability of production systems in enterprises is increasingly dependent on the availability of ICT systems that supervise them. The research presented in this paper focuses on the improvement of the availability of ICT systems by identifying possibilities of further automation of their maintenance processes. After preliminary research, it has been concluded that the possibility of further automation by using artificial intelligence methods to support decision making regarding the improvement of ICT systems is worth considering. The main aim of the paper was to carry out research into the possibilities of using and implementing artificial intelligence to support decision making regarding the improvement of ICT systems.

    Goal – the purpose of this study is to assess the current level of development of the digital economy in the Republic of Belarus, in the context of prevailing global trends. Research methodology – as research methods, both general scientific and specifically economic methods were used, including statistical analysis methods. Score/results – the study was conducted on the basis of analytical reviews and reports of the World Bank, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Eurasian Bank and the United Nations. In the research process statistical data of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus were used also. All data is publicly available. Originality/value – the value of this study lies in finding directions for solving the problems of transition to a digital economy in the Republic of Belarus.

    The city of Zilina is a good example of evolution of the traffic in post - communist country. The years when the biggest share of modal split was represented by public transport are away and in current time the traffic in the city is facing to the same problems as in western EU countries. For European cities is common to have own transport model and evaluate future scenario. For the analyzing and evaluation of transport as a complex system, the Zilina Transport Model has been used. The main reason why such kind of transport model is used is related to the fact that after years of changes, the city becomes an interesting place for developers and investors who came to the city. But together with new development came also new problems as increasing of car using, congestion, decreasing of the level of service on roads, reduction of PT usage, problems with parking, etc. The modelling has pointed on a various problems which are caused by wrong approach in land-use resulting from not respecting the basic principles of urban and transport planning, absence of systematic approach of parking and using the alternative means of transport.

    Prawidłowe zarządzanie oraz organizacja jest nieodłącznym elementem realizacji efektywnego transportu. Transport miejski bezpośrednio wpisuję się w politykę długofalowych zmian sterowania ruchem. Kluczem do uzyskania komunikacji miejskiej na wysokim poziome jakości jest skuteczny sposób organizacji pracy poszczególnych przewoźników. W artykule omówiono istotę zarządzania oraz organizacji komunikacji miejskiej w Lublinie na przestrzeni ostatnich lat. Dodatkowo przedstawiono korelację dwóch pojęć: zarządzania komunikacją miejską w stosunku do stanu technicznego infrastruktury transportowej.
    The correct management and organization is an integral part of the implementation of efficient transport. Urban transport directly inherent in the policy long term changes in traffic control. The key to getting public transport at a high level of quality is an effective way of organizing the work of individual carriers. The article discusses the essence of management and organization of public transport in Lublin in recent years. In addition, it shows the correlation between the two concepts: the management of public transport in relation to the technical state of transport infrastructure.

    W latach 2007-2013 nastąpił znaczny rozwój infrastruktury komunikacyjnej miasta Kielce. Zostały wówczas zainicjowane działania mające na celu poprawę jakości i sprawności transportu miejskiego. Działania te stanowiły nadrzędny cel wdrażanego projektu „Rozwój Systemu Komunikacji Publicznej w Kieleckim Obszarze Metropolitarnym”. Program ten realizowany w ramach III Osi Priorytetowej „Wojewódzkie Ośrodki Wzrostu”, Programu Operacyjnego Rozwój Polski Wschodniej 2007-2013 wydatnie przyczynił się do poprawy funkcjonowania komunikacji publicznej stolicy województwa świętokrzyskiego. Eskalacja usług w lokalnym transporcie zbiorowym to również efektywniejsza obsługa intensywnie urbanizujących się obszarów miasta i rejonów przyległych. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie istotnych dokonań poszczególnych etapów programu.
    In the years of 2007-2013 we could observe notable development of communication infrastructure in Kielce. There were new initiatives started in order to improve the quality and efficiency of the city transport. Those were also the main purposes of the project “Development of the System of Public Transport in the Kielce Metropolitan Area”. Project where implementing in the frame of the third Priority Axis “Province Centers of Growth” within the Eastern Europe Development Operation Program 2007-2013 and had a great impact in improving the functioning of public transport in the main city of the Świetokrzyskie region. This article presents important achievements of each stages of the project implementation.
