Artykuł opisuje sposób zarządzania architekturą korporacyjną w złożonej organizacji. Przedstawione zostanie podejście obejmujące metodykę wytwarzania oprogramowania, sposób opisu oraz wsparcie narzędziowe. Jako metodyka wytwarzania oprogramowania zaproponowana została Rational Unified Process (RUP). W artykule opisany zostanie sposób mapowania Rational Unified Process na siatkę Zachmana. Pokazany zostanie sposób opisu architektury korporacyjnej wykorzystujący artefakty RUP. Zaprezentowane zostanie także zastosowanie Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.0 do opisu architektury korporacyjnej wraz z opisem zastosowanych profili języka UML. Opracowana metoda zilustrowana zostanie przykładem zarządzania architekturą korporacyjną na przykładzie usługi publicznej "Udział w zamówieniach publicznych", opisanej we "Wrotach Polski". W przykładzie zostanie pokazany sposób zastosowania narzędzi IBM Rational Software Architect i IBM Rational RequisitePro do zarządzania architekturą korporacyjną.
In this article manner of enterprise architecture management was described. This approach encompasses software development methodology, fashion of description and tools support. Rational Unified Process (RUP) software development methodology was proposed. Mapping of RUP on Zachman Framework was also presented. Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.0 was used to description of enterprise architecture. The ethod application was presented on example of public service "Participation in public order" described in "Wrota Polski". In the example using of IBM Rational Software Architect and IBM Rational RequisiteProtools was presented.

The article demonstrates how to analyze the performance of an integration platform created using different frameworks. The paper contains a set of integration platform performance metrics. In the manuscript a justification of the frameworks selection is included as well. The article contains a description of a business case, which was implemented on the integration platform with selected frameworks. The article also encompasses the description of the test environment and an analysis of performance test results.
W artykule przedstawiono sposób badania wydajności platformy integracyjnej utworzonej przy wykorzystaniu różnych środowisk. Artykuł zawiera opis metryk wydajności platformy integracyjnej. Analizie poddano także zakres narzędzi wspierających projektowanie rozpatrywanych rozwiązań. Artykuł zawiera opis przypadku biznesowego implementowanego na platformie integracyjnej. Przedstawiono w nim także konfigurację środowiska testowego oraz dokonano analizy wyników badań wydajnościowych.

Głównym celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie nowej, uwzględniającej obecne tendencje koncepcji typologii i kierunków rozwoju systemów informatycznych zarządzania. Analiza źródeł literaturowych i doświadczenia Autorów wskazują, że mimo obszernej literatury na ten temat, występujące w niej podziały i relacje kolejnych generacji systemów nie odpowiadają coraz bardziej złożonej rzeczywistości i potrzebom użytkowników. Prezentowana koncepcja powstała jako wynik burzy mózgów przeprowadzonej na WZ UW i zweryfikowanej konferencji z okazji 50-lecia informatyki w SGH w 2018 roku. W pierwszym podejściu wnioskiem z dyskusji był podział na trzy główne ścieżki rozwojowe, w drugim przypisanie nowoczesnych, innowacyjnych technologii zidentyfikowanym uprzednio kierunkom rozwojowych. Wyniki typologii wskazują na istnienie momentów przełomowych – kamieni milowych rozwoju, wyzwania stojące przed zastosowaniami systemów informatycznych w gospodarce oraz wady i zalety najnowszych technologii.
The main purpose of this article is to present a new concept of typology and directions of development of management information systems, taking into account current trends. The analysis of literature sources and the authors ‚experience indicate that despite the extensive literature on the subject, the divisions and relations of subsequent generations of systems appearing in it do not correspond to the increasingly complex reality and users’ needs. The presented concept was created as a result of a brainstorming session at the Faculty of Management University of Warsaw and verified at conference on the 50th anniversary of computer science at the Warsaw School of Economics in 2018. In the first approach – the conclusion from the discussion was the division into three main development paths, in the second the assignment of modern, innovative technologies to previously identified directions development. The results of the typology indicate the existence of breakthrough moments – milestones of development, challenges facing the use of information systems in the economy, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the latest technologies.

The specificity of tool provisioning is conditioned using tooling, the quantity of which exceeds the nomenclature of the manufactured goods considerably. Therefore, for modern enterprises, first-priority issues are harmonizing the processes of tool provisioning systems, increasing the level of the reaction of this system to changes, obtaining operational control over the production system, and, thus, improving the efficiency of the production process. In this paper, a mathematical model of decision-making based on determining the optimal strategy for the process flow was proposed to improve the efficiency of the information system for quality management of tool provisioning. It is suggested to use the sustainable development factor of information system for quality management of tool provisioning to make decisions about the path of the tooling process, which considers the requirements of international standards for management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, etc.). This model is based on the application of graph optimization theory, fuzzy logic, and Markov chains. The use of this model is universal and will increase the validity of operational management decisions, increase productivity, reduce resource dependency, and, therefore, reduce the costs of tool provisioning, which directly affects the cost of production and competitiveness of the enterprise as a whole.

The name of Autodesk sounds familiar for everyone. The AutoCAD is said to be the bestknown software of their products. Autodesk Map is a GIS and mapping software that combines the power and precision of AutoCAD with the specialised tools for creating, maintaining and producing maps and geographic data. It is optimised for precision mapping and GIS analysis in the AutoCAD environment and used to solve both traditional and unique mapping challenges across many areas and industries. Customised applications can be developed using the AutoLISP API for Autodesk Map that is included with the software itself. My paper is about such an application, which provides examples of using Custom Menus, Programmable Dialogue Boxes and AutoLISP routines. A diverse set of realworld challenges can be solved applying these features and the power of topology, topology functions, overlay operations and external databases. Maps are not dead papers any more, they are turned into powerful tools for analysis and decision support.

Railway yard is the basic composition unit of railways, therefore, the efficiency and quality of railway yard design have a crucial effect on the construction and operation of railways. Plane design is the basis and core of railway yard design, consequently, it is significant to research plane design of railway yard. In this study, through analysis and summary of the research status as well as integrated application of computer technology and railway yard plane design methods, we researched and developed railway yard plane design system based on AutoCAD platform. According to the characteristics of railway yard plane design, we constructed the information model based on which we established specialized database, with the information data organized and managed efficiently; moreover, we put forward methods of constructing geometric models of the plane equipment, meanwhile, we did a focused research on associated design of yard equipment and preliminarily realized linkage design of planar yards.

The object of the study is to monitor the economic development of territories. As a result, a detailed analysis revealed the absence of a single action algorithm for diagnosing the economic development of territories. As a result of the analysis of the terminological apparatus, the essence of monitoring the economic development of territories is clarified, by which is meant the process of measuring, fixing, evaluating, con-trolling, analyzing and forecasting key characteristics based on information technologies and intended for current and strategic goals of managing the country’s territory. The paper proposes a model for the formation of an information-analytical system for monitoring the economic development of territories, based on the use of IDEF0 functional modeling and includes a specific set of stages, each of which solves a set of tasks with an indication of mechanisms and tools. The practical implementation of a functional model for the formation of an information-analytical system for monitoring the economic development of territories will effectively organize the collection of information, objectively assess the dynamics of changes in the regions, and also forecast the development of economic processes in the country.

The issue of sustainable tourism within valuable natural areas has been extensively discussed ever since the emergence of sustainable development philosophy in the 1990s. In view of growing public interest in nature recreation and tourism development, the importance of addressing this subject matter has hitherto increased significantly. The main objective of the present paper was to offer a tool for supporting development and promotion of sustainable tourism in Poland’s forests managed by the State Forests – National Forest Holding. GIS technology, and specific tools for network analysis were used in the project. During task realization, only free and open software sources were used. The work was performed based on the example of the Forest District Żołędowo (Regional Directorate of State Forests in Toruń, Poland) with the use of District’s spatial data resources. A web application was created to present information about tourist attractions and infrastructure on an interactive map with tools for route planning. As a result, there has been developed the web mapping application which provides general access to tourism related information and enables planning touristic routes by pre-specified criteria. Implemented routing algorithms can help traffic management and further protection of the areas vulnerable to anthropogenic pressures. The system created not only promotes attractive tourist sites but also, supports targeting tourist traffic, and accordingly – adds to the progress of sustainable tourism.

Scharakteryzowane zostały metodyki Rational Unified Process, SCRUM i OpenUP z uwypukleniem ich cech wspólnych. Artykuł zawiera także analizę wyników zastosowania proponowanej metodyki w projekcie informatycznym w kontekście podnoszenia efektywności zespołu projektowego pracującego zgodnie z tą metodyką.
The article presents assumptions of the software development methodology which links the features of Rational Unified Process and agile methodologies such as SCRUM and OpenUP. The article presents properties of following methodologies: Rational Unified Process, SCRUM and OpenUP with emphasis on their common features. The article also contains a results analysis of the methodology in a software project in the context of improving the efficiency of the design team working in accordance with this methodology.

Prace planistyczne z zakresu projektowania zmian w organizacji rolniczej przestrzeni produkcyjnej opierają się na analizie uwarunkowań przestrzennych, społecznych, gospodarczych i ekologicznych, czyli tych, które są zasadniczym przedmiotem opracowań urządzenioworolnych. Istotą inwentaryzacji jest zebranie informacji, których źródłem są istniejące opracowania kartograficzne, bazy danych przestrzennych oraz opracowania planów nadrzędnych1. Uzupełnieniem tej inwentaryzacji są informacje pozyskane w sposób bezpośredni w drodze ankietyzacji wybranych osób oraz wywiadu terenowego. W województwie dolnośląskim przyjęta została zasada uzupełniania bazy danych Dolnośląskiego Systemu Informacji Przestrzennej o wszystkie te dane, które zostały zebrane i opracowane w planach urządzenioworolnych oraz założeniach do projektów scalenia gruntów. Jest to korzystne z punktu widzenia realizacji zadań marszałka województwa, który odpowiedzialny jest za koordynację prac urządzenioworolnych i monitorowanie zmian w strukturze agrarnej.
All planning works that influence changes in agricultural production space are based on the analysis of spatial, social, economical, and ecological factors which are central issues of rural development plans. The core of inventorisation is to collect information from existing cartographic compilations, spatial databases, and analyses of superior plans. It is also supplemented with information gained directly from surveys and field reconnaissance. Database of Spatial Information System in Dolnośląskie (Lower Silesia) province is gradually supplemented with the data collected and compiled in rural development plans and guidelines for land consolidation projects. Such approach seems to be advantageous from the point of view of a voivodeship marshal who is responsible for the coordination of rural development works and for the control of changes in agrarian structure.

Globalne przewodnictwo na arenie międzynarodowej staje się jednym z najważniejszych celów najsilniejszych państw świata. Stany Zjednoczone jako hegemon XX i XXI wieku staje przed poważnym wyzwaniem, ponieważ pretendentów do objęcia hegemona jest coraz więcej. Na wyraźne prowadzenie w tych działaniach wychodzą Chiny. W celu zbadania potęgi Stanów Zjednoczonych w dwóch pierwszych dekadach XXI wieku, należy przedstawić rodzaj ustroju politycznego jaki panuje w tym mocarstwie, poziom rozwoju ekonomicznego, demograficznego, technologicznego i informatycznego oraz militarnego tego kraju. Dzięki powyższemu możemy wywnioskować czy Stany Zjednoczone posiadają stabilną pozycję hegemoniczną, czy jednak występują w tym mocarstwie elementy, które mogą zaważyć na przyszłości tego kraju. Istotnym elementem w prowadzeniu badań jest określenie głównych kierunków działań obecnego hegemona oraz wyszczególnienie obecnych sojuszy i tych które staja się żywotnym interesem Stanów Zjednoczonych.
Global leadership on the world stage is becoming one of the most important goals of the world's strongest states. The United States, as the hegemon of the 20th and 21st centuries, is facing a serious challenge as there are more and more contenders to take over the hegemony. China is taking a clearl lead in this effort. In order to examine the power of the United States in the first two decades of the 21st century, it is necessary to present the type of political system that prevails in this superpower as well as the level of economic, demographic, technological, information technology and military development of that country. From the above, we can conclude whether the United States has a stable hegemonic position or if there are elements in this superpower that could affect the future of this country.
