    W artykule przedstawiono autorskie doświadczenia wykorzystania potencjału pedagogicznych pomiarów w celu udoskonalenia kształcenia przyszłych nauczycieli. Otrzymane wyniki konstatowały, że właśnie zadania w testowej formie mogą stać się ważnym ogniwem nauki przyszłych specjalistów. Biorąc jako podstawę do opracowania zadań w testowej formie, prace E.Ł. Biełkina i teorię pedagogicznych pomiarów W. Awanesowa, według dyscyplin psychologiczno-pedagogicznego bloku, opracowano system zadań różnego stopnia złożoności, a także przedstawiono metodykę realizacji tego systemu w procesie zawodowego przygotowania pedagogicznych kadr. W artykule ukazano wyniki praktycznej realizacji opracowanego systemu w procesie przygotowania studentów Instytutu pedagogiki i psychologii Narodowego Pedagogicznego Uniwersytetu imienia M.P. Dragomanowa (Ukraina) oraz Opolskiego Uniwersytetu (Polska).
    The article presents the author's experience in harnessing the potential of educational measurement to improve the quality of professional training of future school teachers. The results obtained stated that tasks in the test form can and should become the main means of training future professionals. Laying to the basis for development tasks in test form on cycle disciplines of psycho-pedagogical unit classification of independent work by E.L. Belkin and pedagogical theory of measurement B. Avanesova, authors developed a system of tasks of varying difficulty, the technique of implementing the system in the process of training teachers. The article presents the results of the practical implementation of the developed system in the practice of training students of National Pedagogical University (Ukraine), University of Opole (Poland).

    Opis:
    Blended learning represents a combination of online learning and face-toface instruction. While one group of researchers advocates the use of blended learning in teaching, others are more critical to the use of ICT in education. The paper deals with utilization of blended learning in teaching mathematics at Faculty of Education, Trnava University. From the results it follows that proper integration of ICT into teaching can make the teaching process more efficient.

    We współczesnym podejściu do kompetencji zawodowych nauczyciela zaznacza się wyraźne odejście od modelu behawioralnego, zgodnie z którym kompetencje mają charakter instrumentalny i decydują o sprawności działania, na rzecz modelu humanistycznego i transgresyjnego, w których nauczyciel posiada zdolność kreowania swojej osobowości i swoich relacji ze światem zewnętrznym. Ze względu na specyfikę zawodu nauczyciela jego wiedza, umiejętności i postawy podlegają nieustannej weryfikacji i wymagają doskonalenia. W niniejszym opracowaniu przedstawiono wyniki badań sondażowych nad zaangażowaniem nauczycieli edukacji wczesnoszkolnej w doskonalenie ich własnych, zawodowych kompetencji.
    In the modern approach to the professional competence of a teacher we mark a clear departure from the behavioral model, where the competences are instrumental and determine the efficiency of actions, to the humanistic and transgressive models, according to which the teacher has the ability to create their personality and their relations with the outside world. Due to the nature of the teaching profession, teacher’s knowledge, skills and attitudes are subject to constant verification and hence require improvement. The following study presents the results of survey researches on the involvement of early school education teachers in improving their own professional competence.

    Opis:
    Consolidated democracy as already well-established and, to our belief, predominantly endogenous setting, represents one of the influential arguments in favor of ensuring peace and stability in more developed countries, obviously perceived as such not only in economic or social sense. There is even much stronger evidence on the global scale to almost confirm that democratic states are not conducting war against each other as also quite popular liberal perspective suggests through the Democratic Peace Theory in the theory of international relations. Democratic transition or democratization processes taking place mainly in developing countries that can be seen through the lenses whether of organized Westernization, or of a mimicry in the same context (however both are conventionally referred as exogenous efforts), may provide less clear guarantees for safeguarding security within the considered societies and in their foreign policies. Nonetheless, democratizing trends are assessed in any case more positively than other tendencies, especially, apparently of antagonistic, i.e. non-democratic nature. Another question is how lasting and viable such positive results eventually would be, which seems to essentially depend on the success of democratization itself. The article addresses the issues concerning education on corruption, efficient anti-corruption strategies and integrity among one of the most significant segments of a society – students, youth and other social groups in Georgia and Kenya, as well as targets community integrity building (CIB) and social accountability activities in the respective countries from the point of view of more needs-oriented, and at the same time advanced, thus, greatly significant democratization components in the mentioned states, particularly important for the long-run efficiency perspectives. Therefore, in the paper there are analyzed success stories of implemented at the Georgian Technical University in 2015-2016 project entitled, “GTU Students’ Integrity Autumn Camp/School and CIB & Social Accountability Activities” on one hand, and on the other, “Improving Education in Kenya” project and other relevant initiatives being undertaken in the Sub-Saharan African country. These projects in both countries have been financed by the Integrity Action, the international non-governmental organization (INGO), based in the United Kingdom.

    Rosnące wyzwania rynku pracy oraz postępujące zmiany cywilizacyjne wymuszają zmianę podejścia do kształcenia zawodowego w kierunku wyższej efektywności. Współczesny pracownik powinien poszerzać i pogłębiać wiedzę oraz umiejętności tak, aby móc wykonywać swoją pracę na podobnym stanowisku w różnych miejscach i czasie. Obecnie nieodzowna jest także umiejętność pracy z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnych narzędzi i rozwiązań technologicznych. Ważne jest, aby wiedza określona drogą lekcji w formie teoretycznej wprowadziła ucznia w sferę pragmatyki dla zdobycia umiejętności praktycznych potencjalnych pracowników. Zmiana podejścia do kształcenia zawodowego odnosi się także do form i metod kształcenia strażaków Państwowej Straży Pożarnej. Celem badań dotyczących kształcenia strażaków była diagnoza postaw słuchaczy wobec sto-sowanych metod kształcenia zawodowego oraz ich efektywności. Wykazano, że prowadzone kształcenie zawodowe w obszarze przedmiotów taktyczno-technicznych pozwala słuchaczom nabyć wiedzę i umiejętności, kluczowe w osiągnięciu kompetencji do pełnienia służby w Państwowej Straży Pożarnej.
    Increasing challenge of labour market and progressive civilization changes impose the atti-tude to vocational education towards higher effectiveness. A current employee should broaden and deepen knowledge and skills to execute job on similar posts at different places and time. At pre-sent there is an indispensable requirement of ability to work with using modern tools and techno-logical solutions. It is important that theoretical knowledge goes with practical skills of workers. The change of the attitude to vocational education relate to forms and methods of education of 188 firefighters of the State Fire Service. The aim of research concerning firefighters’ education was assessment of listeners’ attitude to applied methods of vocational education and their effectiveness. It is shown that vocational education in the field of tactical – technical subjects allows students to obtain knowledge and skills and by the same to get necessary qualifications to work at the State Fire Service.
