Opis:
With the continuous development of bridge technology, the condition assessment of large bridges has gradually attracted attention. Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) technology provides valuable information about a structure's existing health, keeping it safe and uninterrupted use under various operating conditions by mitigating risks and hazards on time. At the same time, the problem of bridge underwater structure disease is becoming more obvious, affecting the safe operation of the bridge structure. It is necessary to test the bridge’s underwater structure. This paper develops a bridge underwater structure health monitoring system by combining building information modeling (BIM) and an underwater structure damage algorithm. This paper is verified by multiple image recognition networks, and compared with the advantages of different networks, the YOLOV4 network is used as the main body to improve, and a lightweight convolutional neural network (Lite-yolov4) is built. At the same time, the accuracy of disease identification and the performance of each network are tested in various experimental environments, and the reliability of the underwater structure detection link is verified.

Purpose: Improving the systematic approach to planning and rationalizing labour protection measures at oil and gas enterprises, based on the results of hazard identification and industrial risk assessment. At the same time, the main task of the risk management process is to ensure the rights of employees guaranteed by the current legislation, namely, to create proper, safe and healthy working conditions. Design/methodology/approach: A comparative legal method for identifying the features of European and Ukrainian legislation in the occupational safety and health field; a structural-logical method for determining the main directions for the further development of the occupational safety and health management system at enterprises; analysis and generalization of well-known scientific results on the research topic; statistical analysis to identify the relationship between the industrial risk' level and various factors that may affect its value; applied systems analysis and mathematical modelling method for new methodological approaches' development to assessing of hazards' likelihood and their consequences' severity were used. The basis for improving the systematic approach to planning and rationalizing labour protection measures is based on the standard IEC 61882:2001. The statistics are taken from the "Messages" information system, which operates in the State Service of Ukraine on Labour and is designed to collect and process data on occupational injuries Findings: An analysis of the current legislative and regulatory acts showed promising directions for their improvement. A mathematical model for scoring industrial risk is proposed, which takes into account the relationship between industrial risk and preventive measures and the time of their implementation. The calculation system developed on the basis of the proposed model provided a reduction in the time for processing data and calculating the values of industrial risks by 20...25%. Research limitations/implications: Statistical data on industrial injuries at enterprises of the oil and gas industry of Ukraine for 2018-2019 were used. Practical implications: Implementation of the proposed systematic approach to the organization of occupational safety and health management at enterprises has shown its simplicity and effectiveness, which can induce employers to finance reasonable and timely preventive measures. Originality/value: The method has been improved by decreasing the discreteness step in the assessment of industrial risk components, which has increased its accuracy; by developing a mathematical model for calculating the probability of a hazard, taking into account the frequency with which workers are exposed to danger, which eliminates the need to involve experts for an expert assessment at this stage.

Opis:
The present article investigates the dynamic behavior of a fully assembled turbogenerator system influenced by misalignment. In the past, most of the researchers have neglected the foundation flexibility in the turbogenerator systems in their study, to overcome this modelling error a more realistic model of a turbogenerator system has been attempted by considering flexible shafts, flexiblecoupling, flexible bearings and flexible foundation. Equations of motion for fully assembled turbogenerator system including flexible foundations have been derived by using finite element method. The methodology developed based on least squares technique requires forced response information to quantify the bearing–coupling–foundation dynamic parameters of the system associated with different faults along with residual unbalances. The proposed methodology is tested for the various level of measurement noise and modelling error in the system parameters, i.e., 5% deviation in E (modulus of elasticity) and ρ (density), respectively, for robustness of the algorithm. In a practical sense, the condition analyzed in the present article relates to the identification of misalignment and other dynamic parameters viz. bearing and residual unbalance in a rotor integrated with flexible foundation.

Opis:
Candida albicans (Candida albicans) is one of the major sources of nosocomial infections in humans which may prove fatal in 30% of cases. The hospital acquired infection is very difficult to treat affectively due to the presence of drug resistant pathogenic strains, therefore there is a need to find alternative drug targets to cure this infection. In silico and computational level frame work was used to prioritize and establish antifungal drug targets of Candida albicans. The identification of putative drug targets was based on acquiring 5090 completely annotated genes of Candida albicans from available databases which were categorized into essential and non-essential genes. The result indicated that 9% of proteins were essential and could become potential candidates for intervention which might result in pathogen eradication. We studied cluster of orthologs and the subtractive genomic analysis of these essential proteins against human genome was made as a reference to minimize the side effects. It was seen that 14% of Candida albicans proteins were evolutionary related to the human proteins while 86% are non-human homologs. In the next step of compatible drug target selections, the non-human homologs were sequentially compared to the human microbiome data to minimize the potential effects against gut flora which accumulated to 38% of the essential genome. The sub-cellular localization of these candidate proteins in fungal cellular systems indicated that 80% of them are cytoplasmic, 10% are mitochondrial and the remaining 10% are associated with the cell wall. The role of these non-human and non-gut flora putative target proteins in Candida albicans biological pathways was studied. Due to their integrated and critical role in Candida albicans replication cycle, four proteins were selected for molecular modeling. For drug designing and development, four high quality and reliable protein models with more than 70% sequence identity were constructed. These proteins are used for the docking studies of the known and new ligands (unpublished data). Our study will be an effective framework for drug target identifications of pathogenic microbial strains and development of new therapies against the infections they cause.

The knowledge of the dynamic state and structure of system allows to describe its behavior, and allows a model of the system behavior in the function of dynamic evolution time, based on the model of the technical state symptoms growth. Most often, there are no known equations describing behaviors of the system in the function of dynamic evolution time, which accounts for the need to apply new tools to examine the dynamic state. In this article authors shows chosen problems of technical state diagnosis with the use of identification and technical diagnostics methods such as experimental modal analysis. Relations between methods of dynamic state evaluation and methods of technical state evaluation were indicated. Example modal analysis results illustrate the complexity of projecting dynamic state researches into diagnostic researches of state evaluation.

Opis:
The purpose of this paper is to investigate a double torsion pendulum with planar frictional contact. The single torsion pendulum with one-degree-of-freedom is an angular equivalent of the linear harmonic oscillator. The second degree of freedom has been obtained by adding a free body to the inverted single torsion pendulum. The free body’s angular displacement is caused by frictional forces appearing in the interface (contact zone) between the free body and the pendulum column’s head kinematically excited at its base by a mechanism with torsion spiral spring. An experimental station has been set up and run to find most unknown parameters of the pendulum from the time series of state variables taken as inputs to the Nelder-Mead method of identification. The obtained results proved significant usability of the identification method in the case of numerical simulation of the pendulum’s dynamical model. It has not been satisfactorily proved in the case of time characteristics coming from a real system that exhibits also some unrecognized physical effects.
