Opis:
This paper presents design assumptions and a constructional concept of the device for coupling the pusher and hotel barge of two-segment inland waterways and coastal ship. The presented device makes it possible to reach either stiff connection or mutually controlled inclination of both segments against each other, which greatly improves the ship’s manoeuvrability and thus safety of navigation especially on narrow and meandering waterways.

Opis:
Designers of hydraulically driven machines and devices are obliged to ensure during design process their high service life with taking into account their operational conditions. Some of the machines may be started in low ambient temperature and even in thermal shock conditions (due to delivering hot working medium to cold components). In order to put such devices into operation appropriate investigations, including experimental ones - usually very expensive and time-consuming, are carried out. For this reason numerical calculations can be used to determine serviceability of a hydraulic component or system operating in thermal shock conditions. Application of numerical calculation methods is much less expensive in comparison to experimental ones. This paper presents a numerical calculation method which makes it possible to solve issues of heat exchange in elements of investigated hydraulic components by using finite elements method. For performing the simulations the following data are necessary: ambient temperature, oil temperature, heat transfer coefficient between oil and surfaces of elements, as well as areas of surfaces being in contact with oil. By means of computer simulation method values of clearance between cooperating elements as well as ranges of parameters of correct and incorrect operation of hydraulic components have been determined. In this paper results of computer simulation of some experimentally tested hydraulic components such as axial piston pump and proportional spool valve, are presented. The computer simulation results were compared with the experimental ones and high conformity was obtained.

A large number of hydraulic devices and systems are started in low ambient temperatures. A good example of such a device is the hoisting winch on the ship. Starting hydraulic drive units in thermal shock conditions (rapid supply of hot oil to the cold unit) may lead to incorrect operation of the actuating system, for instance, due to the loss of clearance between cooperating elements. The article presents methods to prevent the disappearance of effective clearance in a hydraulic motor started in thermal shock conditions. For this reason, the structure of the hydraulic satellite motor was complemented by elements creating special channels through which hot oil could flow and additionally heat fixed parts of the motor. This solution ensures faster heating of motor housing, thus decreasing the temperature difference between the housing and the satellites during motor start-up in thermal shock conditions.

In the paper an H�‡ velocity control of the robot arm in combination with the hydraulic drive is presented. The open-loop system consists of a manipulator with one rotary degree of freedom, a hydraulic servomotor, and an electrohydraulic amplifier. The mathematical model of the system is derived. Due to the nonlinearity in the model, which is caused by varying operating point parameters and the direction of the servomotor motion, the model of multiplicative uncertainty was defined. The plant model transfer function parameters were assumed to be variable. To limit error signal, control signal, and output signal three weighting functions were designed. The simulation results of the designed H�‡ optimal closed-loop system were compared to the standard PID closed-loop system. The solution ensuring robust performance was achieved and proved.

One of the most important parameters specifying the usability of the miniaturised electrohydraulic servomechanism includes a static friction degree in its slide pairs, i.e. resistance of the slider’s movement from rest after some time of its staying at rest under pressure. Therefore, at the stage of designing and construction of the electrohydraulic servomechanism, it is important to determine the greatest static friction degree, which may arise in the slider hydraulic pair of this device during its operation. The objective of this article is to present a method for estimating the maximum static friction values in the slide pair based on the extreme value theory. The operation and loading conditions of the slide pair of the electrohydraulic servomechanism for the unmanned aircraft control system were described. The procedure for estimating the maximum static friction degree in the slide pair with the use of the extreme and probabilistic grid was presented. The extreme and probabilistic grid structure was based on the Gumbel probability graph. The graphic presentation of results of the static friction experimental studies in the slide pair on the extreme and probabilistic grid was discussed. By using the graphics method, the empirical dependence of the static friction force in the slide pair on the working fluid pressure in the hydraulic drive (loading conditions) was determined. A practical example of estimating the maximum values of the static friction force that may occur in the slider hydraulic pair of the miniaturized electrohydraulic servomechanism is shown.

Artykuł wprowadza w problematykę związaną z modelowaniem egzoszkieletu kończyn dolnych z napędem hydraulicznym. Na początku przedstawiono kinematyczny model egzoszkieletu. Wyznaczono położenie każdego z charakterystycznych punktów w przyjętym układzie współrzędnych z wykorzystaniem macierzy kosinusów. Następnie określono zmianę długości każdego z siłowników hydraulicznych podczas chodu i biegu. Drugi etap badań polegał na zamodelowaniu poszczególnych części egzoszkieletu w programie CAD w celu wyznaczenia momentów bezwładności każdego z elementów. Bazując na zaproponowanym modelu egzoszkieletu opracowano równania dynamiki i przeprowadzono symulację zmiany pozycji z przysiadu do pozycji stojącej w czasie 1 s. Uzyskane wyniki zaprezentowano na wykresach. We wnioskach końcowych nakreślono kierunki dalszych badań.
This paper concerns the kinematics and dynamics of human leg exoskeleton. The biomechanics of human leg was studied and three degrees of freedom model of human leg was obtained. The article introduced in the hydraulic exoskeleton lower leg modelling. The human parts of body mass and inertial parameters were obtained from recent literature, and these parameters were used for modelling human leg and MATLAB package. On this basis, the model of the exoskeleton of the lower limbs with hydraulic actuator was proposed. As the actuators the three hydraulic motors were used. Kinematic model was developed with the appointment of kinematic parameters describing the dependence between various elements of the exoskeleton. To determine the coordinates of the landmarks of the direction cosine matrices were used. The Euler equations were determined and simulation was done by using Matlab package. The obtained results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach that can be utilized to analyze the kinematics and dynamics of exoskeletons for the purpose of selection of their actuators.

This paper shows the conception and the model of hydraulic single-acting valve drive for internal combustion engines. This drive should give free control for valve lift, valve opening and valve closing time. It consists of parts: electric control valve and hydraulic actuator, whose piston is connected with engine valve and return spring. One of the basic components of high pressure HEUI injector for the Diesel engine - electric valve with solenoid was chosen as electric control valve. Principle of operation, physical and mathematical model of this drive is to be presented in this paper. Presented model consists of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic subsystems: slide of control valve with solenoid coil, power piston of hydraulic actuator with return spring and hydraulic components. Describe the dynamic behaviour of the solenoid was based on non-linear magnetic circuit model. Movement of valve slide and power piston of actuator was based on the motion equation. Description of hydraulic subsystems was based of one-dimensional, compressible flow model. After full system identification basic parameters of this drive (like supply oil pressure or valve lift) will be calculated and analyzed for better load exchange in internal combustion engines.

One of the most important tasks in a complex of activities aimed at increasing the use quality of a hydraulic drive are studies concerning the impact of operating conditions of hydraulic precise pairs on their durability. With supercritical values of the slide velocity, there is a stepwise and rapid quantitative characteristics of the wear process on the surface of a hydraulic precise pair’s elements. The phenomenon of wear by oxidation and the occurrence of adhesive seizing (tacking), created in the course of the process of mutual impact of surfaces of hydraulic precise pairs in control devices, under load resulting from a hydraulic drive’s pressure pulsation requires thorough consideration. The paper discusses operating conditions of slider pairs of hydraulic control devices associated with the kinetics of their movement and their load conditions. They were supported by results of empirical studies. General characteristics and mechanism of the wear by oxidation in a slider control pair was presented. The impact of loss of stability of a control spring in a slider control pair and the relative displacement of pair’s elements during the operating process, on the character and intensity of the adhesive seizing event were discussed. The conditions of occurrence of adhesive seizing in hydraulic slider pairs, under load resulting from pressure pulsation in a hydraulic drive were discussed.

This paper presents an analysis of environmental and technical conditions necessary for working out a possibly most favourable propulsion system for a two – segment passenger ship intended for navigation between Berlin and Kaliningrad. There are presented various types of propulsion systems for small ships as well as analyzed their possible applications and consequences. In this work there were taken into account system’s reliability, efficiency, dimensions, mass and costs of manufacturing, assembling and possible replacing the system components as well as an impact on maneuverability and natural environment. With taking into account the above mentioned criteria it was finally found that the diesel-hydraulic system fitted with two azimuthal ducted solid propellers is the most favourable. There are also presented a schematic propulsion and control diagram, three-dimensional arrangement drawing of system components as well as assembly drawing of the designed azimuthal propulsion system.
