Współczesna polska filozofka Jolanta Brach-Czaina opisuje nieobecne dotąd w filozofii kobiece doświadczenia. Wspólna im wszystkim jest potrzeba mówienia własnym głosem o własnych doświadczeniach i budowania autonomicznego podmiotu kobiecego.
The article is an attempt to present the peculiar character of feminist philosophy, using as examples three women thinkers living in different times and places. The phenomenologist and Catholic Edith Stein writes about the similar natures of men and women, their equality, and the vocation of women to realize their talents and abilities. The French philosopher and psychoanalyst Luce Irigaray deconstructs philosophy and culture created from the masculine point of view and looks for ways of expressing women’s desires and imaginations. The contemporary Polish philosopher Jolanta Brach-Czaina describes feminine experiences that have until now been absent in philosophy. What is common to them all is the need to speak with their own voice about their own experiences and to construct an autonomous feminine personality.

Opis:
The First World War and its consequences constituted the soil, on which the fascists movements rose in all European countries, gathering people mainly on the basis of discontent and disagreement with the Treaty of Versailles. On the one hand, after the end of multinational imperial state, promise to respect the right of every nation to self-ruling was a popular idea; on the other hand, the Treaty of Versailles did not always respect the idea, e.g. in case of Slovakia, Austria or Hungarian. The so-called little treaty, concerning the minorities, was also treated as non-equal position of nation. The fascists movements based on this and began not only to identify everyone on the basis of national identity, but also to glorify war as a unique experience, as an example of heroism, something much better than pacifism. This idea was fundamental in education, beginning with children. It seems also very important to underline the fact, that most of the charismatic leaders of fascists movements personally took part in the First World War, treating the war as a splendid example of national community, it was the case not only of Mussolini and Hitler. The dream that the Treaty concluded after the Great War will be a guarantee of eternal peace, from the very beginning was contested by fascist movements, leading in the end to the Second World War.
Pierwsza wojna światowa i jej skutki stanowiły podłoże, na którym w całej Europie wyrosły ruchy faszystowskie, zarówno faszyzm włoski, jak i niemiecki nazizm, belgijski reksizm, węgierscy strzałokrzyżowcy i inni. Chociaż tylko nieliczne zdobyły władzę, wszystkie jednak odwoływały się do programu walki ze skutkami wojny, najczęściej dążąc do nowej wojny. Z jednej strony I wojna światowa, która wywołała rozpad wielkich wielonarodowych imperiów, a w której padło hasło samostanowienia narodów, wymagała zdecydowanej identyfikacji jednostki ze względu na przynależność narodową, z drugiej zaś traktat wersalski nie zawsze respektował te narodowe dążenia, jak w przypadku Słowacji, Austrii czy Węgier. Niezadowolenie z ładu powojennego było istotnym podłożem dla ruchów faszystowskich. Drugim elementem była gloryfikacja i rehabilitacja wojny jako przeciwieństwa tchórzliwego pacyfizmu, jako wspaniałej postawy narodowej. W tym duchu wychowywano młodzież, a nawet dzieci. Wreszcie – co trzeba podkreślić – większość charyzmatycznych przywódców rozmaitych ruchów faszystowskich brała udział w I wojnie światowej, odbierając ją jako wielkie przeżycie wspólnoty. Dotyczyło to nie tylko Mussoliniego czy Hitlera. Pragnienie, by ład wersalski był ładem trwałym, od początku było zatem skazane na kontestację. W tej roli wystąpili faszyści, którzy doprowadzili do II wojny światowej.

Human capital is a category that has been the subject of economists’ considerations for years. Numerous concepts, research approaches and various ways of classifying capital have appeared. Since the 1990s, in accordance with the fundamental principle of dualism, according to which capital is an abstract category, an alternative scientific research program has been conducted in the field of measuring human capital and fair wages. This program was initiated by M. Dobija and has been followed by a team of researchers from the Cracow University of Economics. The program in question is based on a proper understanding of the capital category. It has been consistently developing, and the scientific research covers a wide range of theories related to human capital and fair remuneration. The purpose of this study is to present the impact of capital from experience on the level of the fair remuneration of employees. The human capital model, in the presented considerations enables the measurement of employee qualifications in monetary units and a fair pay model. A case study on the impact from experience capital on the level of fair remuneration of employees was also presented.
Kapitał ludzki to kategoria, która od lat stanowi temat rozważań ekonomistów. Powstały liczne koncepcje, podejścia badawcze oraz różne sposoby klasyfikacji kapitału. Od lat 90. ubiegłego stulecia, w zgodzie z fundamentalną zasadą dualizmu według której kapitał stanowi kategorię abstrakcyjną, prowadzony jest alternatywny naukowy program badawczy w zakresie pomiaru kapitału ludzkiego i godziwych płac. Program ten zapoczątkował M. Dobija, a kontynuuje go zespół badaczy z UEK w Krakowie. Wspomniany program opiera się na właściwym rozumieniu kategorii kapitału. Prowadzone badania naukowe obejmują wiele teorii związanych z kapitałem ludzkim i godziwym wynagrodzeniem. Celem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie wpływu kapitału z doświadczenia na wysokość godziwych wynagrodzeń pracowników. W tekście zaprezentowano model kapitału ludzkiego umożli-wiający pomiar kwalifikacji pracownika w jednostkach pieniężnych oraz model płacy godziwej. Przedstawiono również studium przypadku dotyczące wpływu kapitału z doświad-czenia na wysokość godziwych wynagrodzeń pracowników.

The article concerns the users’ experiences of interacting with well-being chatbots. The text shows how chatbots can act as virtual companions and, to some extent, therapists for people in their daily reality. It also reflects on why individuals choose such a form of support for their well-being, concerning, among others, the stigmatization aspect of mental health problems. The article discusses and compares various dimensions of users’ interactions with three popular chatbots: Wysa, Woebot, and Replika. The text both refers to the results of research on the well-being chatbots and, analytically, engages in a dialogue with the results discussed in the form of sociological (and philosophical) reflection. The issues taken up in the paper include an in-depth reflection on the aspects of the relationship between humans and chatbots that allow users to establish an emotional bond with their virtual companions. In addition, the consideration addresses the issue of a user’s sense of alienation when interacting with a virtual companion, as well as the problem of anxieties and dilemmas people may experience therein. In the context of alienation, the article also attempts to conceptualize that theme concerning available conceptual resources.

Should we approach the lived experience and/or understand the other with the sense of things? If this is the case, how are we to treat the human experience par excellence? Paradoxically, Edith Stein gives a fresh meaning to the Husserlian term “leiblicheSelbstgegebenheit.” In contrast to Max Scheler’s account, she develops the “persönliche Note” criterion of authenticity. And against Maetin Heidegger’s existential philosophy, a concern for human existence itself resonates. Based on these three dimensions, this article discusses the idea of “the lived experience” according to Edith Stein, that is, the human experience contemplated by the humanities.

Religious experiences are verbalized by the linguistic expressions, which are characteristic for sensual experience. Language sensualism in Internet religious communications is manifested in the metaphor expressions which was fixed through the senses in a subjective manner the world of human spirituality. Using the sensual expressions we could bring ourselves and others unknown areas of the sacrum. In this way, sensual metaphor becomes a way of describing the man’s inner religious experience, looking beyond the language of reference and motivation to the world of man’s inner emotions. It allows us „to express sensorineural what can not be formulated „ and bring them to the reality which is close to man.

W ostatnich latach obserwować możemy intensywny rozwój robotyki i ekspansję robotów poza zastosowania w przemyśle, wojsku czy medycynie. Coraz większa dostępność cenowa sprawia, że obecność robotów w domach, pełniących różnorodne funkcje od sprzątania poprzez rozrywkę staje się czymś coraz bardziej powszechnym. Roboty to najbardziej zaawansowane technologicznie maszyny stworzone przez człowieka i przez niego używane. Projektowanie i konstruowanie robotów, pełniących nowe role współpracowników, towarzyszy i opiekunów, a przede wszystkim wprowadzanie ich do użytku na skalę masową, stawia nowe wyzwania przed wieloma dziedzinami nauki stanowiącymi podstawę nowej dyscypliny jaką jest interakcja człowiek-robot (HRI, Human-Robot Interaction). Celem tego artykuły jest przybliżenie psychologicznych zagadnień związanych z interakcją człowiek-robot w obszarze robotyki medycznej.
In recent years we observe the rapid development in the field of robotics and robots expansion beyond manufacturing, military, and medical domain. Becoming increasingly affordable makes robots’ presence in households, where they are performing a variety of functions from cleaning through entertainment, something more and more common. Robots are the most technologically advanced machines created by humans and destined to serve them. To design and construct a robot performing new roles of workplace peers, companions caretakers, and guardians and to turn them into a mass product presents challenges for Human- Robot Interaction (HRI). The purpose of this paper is to outline psychological issues related to HRI in the specific field of medical robotics.

The article deals with work after the political transformation of 1989 in the light of contemporary literary accounts in the prose of Andrzej Stasiuk, Dawid Bieńkowski, Piotr Siemion, Daniel Odija, and others. The literary works are taken to contain records of personal and social problems, captured as objectivised experience of many individuals. An attempt is made to adapt the methodological proposals characteristic of the poetics of experience to selected approaches to work in contemporary literature. These approaches include: the shortage of work as the key element of social change, part-time work, physical work (often considered inferior and unfulfilling), work on a marketplace (as the release of subdued energy), the work of a small-business entrepreneur (along with bankruptcy as an inalienable element of the experience), and work connected with new forms of capitalist corporate context. The experience of work in the times of transformation, as it appears in literature, is presented in terms of failure, exclusion, exploitation, more than a mirage of careers – although the latter approach is also present, albeit often in the context of irony and parody. In the writers’ view, the Polish reality after the transformation reveals a deep social disintegration, while individuals, forced to become self-reliant, do not always win when confronted with the new, capitalist reality.
 Autor zajmuje się doświadczeniem pracy w czasach transformacji ustrojowej po roku 1989 w świetle współczesnych świadectw literackich zawartych w prozie Andrzeja Stasiuka, Dawida Bieńkowskiego, Piotra Siemiona, Daniela Odii i innych. Utwory literackie traktuje jako zapis problemów jednostkowych i społecznych, ujętych w aspekcie obiektywizacji doświadczenia, będącego udziałem wielu jednostek. Propozycje metodologiczne, wypracowywane w ramach poetyki doświadczenia stara się zaadaptować do próby prześledzenia kilku wskazanych ujęć problematyzacji doświadczenia pracy w literaturze najnowszej. Do tych ujęć należą: ukazywanie braku pracy jako kluczowego kontekstu zmiany społecznej, następnie: praca dorywcza, fizyczna, ujmowana często jako praca wstydliwa, nieprzynosząca satysfakcji, praca bazarowa, ukazywana jako wyzwolenie tłumionej energii, praca drobnego biznesmena – wraz z bankructwem jako nieodłącznym elementem tego doświadczenia – oraz praca związana z nowymi formami kapitalistycznego korporacjonizmu.Doświadczenie pracy czasów transformacji w świetle ujęć literackich przedstawiane jest częściej w kategoriach klęski, wykluczenia, wyzysku niż mirażu karier, choć i takie ujęcia pojawiają się – jednak często w konwencjach ironicznoparodystycznych. Zdaniem pisarzy w polskiej rzeczywistości po przełomie ujawnia się głęboka dezintegracja społeczna, zaś jednostki, zdane na siebie, nie zawsze wychodzą zwycięsko w konfrontacji z nową, kapitalistyczną rzeczywistością.

The paper aims to identify potential threats and opportunities in reference with combining full-time studies with gainful employment from the perspective of future transition of the graduates to the labor market. A hypothesis whether the job of the full-time students provides professional experience, required by employers, was verified. Moreover, it discusses if their professional activity may constitute a solid tie between education and the work after graduation, when continued at the same workplace. The conclusions were drawn, based on the results of the survey conducted over a population of students in the master’s degree course in economics at the University of Economics in Katowice in years 20142016. According to the survey, students rarely undertake job in compliance with their area of study, however, the majority gains valuable skills and competences. Additionally, it proves there exist certain obstacles while combining studies with job which poses a real threat to educational capital. The research also unveiled that less than one third of the students consider present job as a running start to future employment, mainly due to their lack of interest in such a solution.

Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą osadzenia koncepcji płci społeczno-kulturowej w branży nowych technologii, a dokładniej jednym z ich działów - User Experience (UX). Problemem badawczym jest odpowiedź na pytanie o to jak płeć społeczno-kulturowa różnicuje treści procesu projektowego UX? W celu pogłębienia tego tematu oraz poznania doświadczeń i wyobrażeń o kobiecości i męskości w projektach UX zastosowana została metoda badań jakościowych - wywiady pogłębione ze specjalistami User Experience. Z przeprowadzonych rozmów zostały wyodrębnione elementy, które różnicują projektowane (budowane) doświadczenia użytkowników pod względem ich płci (kolorystyka, układ treści, kształtów, zdjęć, grafik). W badaniach brały udział osoby, które zajmują się budowaniem User Experience w projektach aplikacji webowych i mobilnych.
This article approached the concept of gender category in the new technology industry, especially in the User Experience (UX) design process. The research problem relates to the question of how gender differentiates the User Experience design process? According to the analysis of the qualitative method (Individual In-depth Interview) the author distinguished elements that diversify the UX design process from a gender perspective. The main issues contained in colors, content, shapes, photos, graphics displayed on websites and apps dedicated to gender-specific users. The research included designers and researchers who are responsible for building User Experience in web and mobile application projects.

Obchody 500-lecia urodzin św. Teresy od Jezusa, pierwszej kobiety, którą Kościół ogłosił doktorem Kościoła, są okazją do przypomnienia jej osoby i przesłania. Mistyczka, mistrzyni duchowa, fundatorka, autorka wielkich dzieł doktrynalnych jest przede wszystkim nauczycielką modlitwy, rozumianej jako relacja przyjaźni. Reforma Karmelu, którą zapoczątkowała, miała swoje źródło w doświadczeniu Boga, a co za tym idzie również nowego spojrzenia na człowieka. Św. Teresa od Jezusa pozostaje wiernym i ciągle aktualnym świadkiem prawdy o Bogu i człowieku.
Celebration of the 5th centenary of the birth of St. Teresa of Jesus, the fist woman pronounced by the Church the Doctor of the Church, is an occasion for recalling her person and her message. A mystic, a spiritual master, a foundress and author of great doctrinal works is above all the teacher of prayer understood as the relation of friendship. The Carmel’s reform she had started had its source in the experience of God, with the new look at a human person, which followed. St. Teresa of Jesus remains as a faithful and timely witness of truth about God and human person.

Opis:
W opracowaniu poruszono problem wynagradzania absolwentów szkół ponadgimnazjalnych. Weryfikowano hipotezę, że wysokość wynagrodzenia absolwentów szkół ponadgimnazjalnych powinna być zróżnicowana w zależności od rodzaju ukończonej szkoły. W celu weryfikacji hipotezy podjęto próbę oszacowania wysokości wynagrodzeń absolwentów trzech typów szkół: liceum ogólnokształcącego, technikum oraz zasadniczej szkoły zawodowej. Do estymacji normatywnej wysokości wynagrodzeń absolwentów zastosowano model kapitału ludzkiego M. Dobii. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono w artykule znaczeniu doświadczenia zawodowego. Pierwszym etapem obliczeń było ustalenie wartości czynnika doświadczenia, kapitału doświadczenia oraz kapitału ludzkiego osób, które ukończyły różne rodzaje szkół. W obliczeniach uwzględniono doświadczenie zawodowe zdobywane przez uczniów podczas obowiązkowych praktyk zawodowych oraz długość okresu nauki. Zwrócono również uwagę na różne koszty edukacji w poszczególnych rodzajach szkół. Tak obliczona wartość kapitału ludzkiego była podstawą ustalenia godziwego wynagrodzenia. Otrzymane wyniki potwierdziły, że uzasadnione jest różnicowanie wynagrodzeń absolwentów różnych typów szkół ponadgimnazjalnych. Bezpośrednio po zakończeniu szkoły uzasadnione jest uzyskiwanie najwyższego wynagrodzenia przez absolwentów zasadniczych szkół zawodowych. Wraz z pozyskiwaniem doświadczenia zawodowego proporcje te przechylają się na rzecz absolwentów techników. Z kolei wynagrodzenie absolwentów liceów w każdym z badanych lat jest najniższe. W pracy poddano także analizie rozpiętość płac dla badanych grup absolwentów. Prowadzone badania mogą znaleźć zastosowanie w procesie kształtowania polityki edukacyjnej państwa, ustalaniu płacy minimalnej i konstruowaniu systemów wynagrodzeń w przedsiębiorstwach.
The paper discussed the problem of remuneration for graduates of schools above the junior high school level. It verified a hypothesis that the salaries of graduates should be differentiated depending on the type of the school. For the purpose of the verification of the hypothesis an attempt was made to estimate the salaries of graduates of three types of schools: the high school, the technical school and the basic vocational school. For the appraisal value of the normative level of salaries of graduates the model of the human capital of M. Dobii was applied. A special attention in the article was devoted to the importance of the professional experience. The first stage of calculations was the establishment of the value of the factor of experience, the experience capital and the human capital of graduates who completed the different kinds of schools. The salary was determined depending on the length of work experience. The calculations took into account the professional experience gained by pupils during the obligatory occupational training and the length of studies. Attention was paid to different costs of the education in the individual schools. The calculated value of human capital was the base for determining of the fair salary. The results confirmed that the differentiation of salaries of graduates of different types of schools above junior high school was justified. Immediately after the graduation, the highest salary is justified for the graduates of the basic vocational schools. With gaining of the professional experience the proportions lean towards the graduates of technical schools. Whereas the salary of high school graduates in every investigated year is the lowest. The analysis also examined the salary spread for the groups of graduates. The presented research could find a use in the process of the formulation of the state educational policies, the determination of a minimum wage and the construction of salary systems in the enterprises.
